Currently using Wise for currency exchange, direct debits and local payments. I don't believe Smart Currency Exchange offers a DD service plus they only offer bank to bank transfers with no card payment options, maybe I'm wrong?
Smart do offer the service of sending money every month to your utility companies and more, so yes there is a DD service. They don't do card payments though, because they're not a bank so it's not for everyday spending.
@@youtoospain Not at present time. But put up crypto assetts and get a loan which in turn pays for the house. The way it used to be in the banking world. Put up assetts to buy land and home. Its not for everyone tho. At present most will still go down the way you discuss but naybe in the future who knows. Hey great show
I saved £2,500 by using other exchange services compared to these exchange brokers. But definitely don't use spanish bank accounts, they issue your money to anyone that asks for it, even without your permission.
Yeah, isn’t it great you’re not sending all that money to the EU, the country’s so much better off now, you’ve never had it so good. Exports are booming, GDP is through the roof. Granted, it’s the roof of the cellar, but hey it’s still a roof. And now you can find where Boris and Truss buried the economy.
Its also the best way to send money from Spain to UK as the elders used to use and abuse of our healthcare care system supported by our taxes. Isn't it great, susan?
@@tiara6062 yes, although your application for renewal at the end of year 1 is for two years so you need to fulfill the financial requirements for that. Also bear in mind it can take a few months to get your Spanish citizenship

I don’t think you have considered how hurtful is going to be for Walter not to be included in this video.
It’s okay, I sent him for counselling and he’s in recovery now.

How long before you moved did you arrange your currency exchange?

The best way to send money to Spain from the UK is join the EU, then Brussels will see to the rest.

Revolut uses a Spanish iban number as long as you have a Spanish address and nie number
True, and it’s easy to use, but you can’t fix a forward rate or tell it to exchange your money when the rate reaches a certain level

@@tiara6062 yes, although it’s best to apply for your NLV renewal too in case you don’t get the work permit.
