If they grant you a visa for a period of time then you can go for that period of time. But I imagine they wouldn’t grant you a second visa immediately if you’ve already used up your time.

As far as I can tell, you’ll need to apply from scratch for a Spanish Firearms Licence, I can’t find any mention of being able to swap your NZ licence. Here’s an article which I don’t think is from Andalucía but outlines how to apply. You’ll need to check whether it’s the same process in Andalucía but like driving licences the rules will probably be the same. Well at the moment it’s only water, but when I was making this video I was over the limit.

20 years is weather not climate. Climate change is real and measured and has been accelerating way beyond ‘natural’ since the industrial revolution. All of that is proven and accepted.

Skatz, we love you man but please put down the climate kool aid and stop worrying unnecessarily. If it was that bad I am sure I for one would have remained in rainy Britain. 😁 150 years (or so) data is also not enough for sweeping and destructive decisions massively impacting the lives of today and the emotions of our young people on climate. Perhaps, add in the Roman warming period and the Medieval warming period as just two examples of statistical manipulation by so called "climate scientists" to mitigate them clearly supporting a required outcome and let's start over with the analysis on MMGW from the top in a more professional manner In that way science can be seen to be avoiding such things as "the science is settled" to shut down debate and further proper, unbiased research. It never is settled mate, ask any scientist, maybe the four or 5 I know who have been fired for not sticking on message.

@@youtoospain I have seen it, but of course it is not permitted in the public domain. A couple of guys I worked with in Cambridgeshire on mapping the human genome in the 90s moved on to the never ending well funded climate career fairly early. Sadly as time went on their minds were too open to scientific debate for their employers liking. If you want to see climate change at pace, basically look at what happens to CO2 following natural warming phenomena after, for example lots of volcanic activity or solar maximums... funnily enough both of which have been pretty high over the last few decades. Sadly as you will find, climate papers are vetted quite fiercely before publication. The guys I know were told basically if you go forward with certain theories like that, you are out. They are, initially sent to Coventry, silenced and then out of a job. The history of climate science post political manipulation is quite sordid. Some say there is a reason for getting the masses to swallow the politicised junkscience (there is good stuff in there among the full papers but the UN and IPCC are very guilty of political cherry picking and alarmist messaging - remember global billing 🤣🤣🤣).. I am slightly less inclined to follow either extreme given what I know about human ingenuity and ability to adapt. But I do know that it is far from settled or accepted in the proper scientific community. Combining that with just about every prediction turning out to be false over decades, I am a bit sceptical that they are working with a full deck... of data of course. 😁

Health insurance can only be bought for a year. If you only want to stay for 2 months then you don’t need a visa and holiday insurance and a GHIC card should cover you

@@youtoospain i plan to go back and forth in spain and visit other countries, thats why i want that long duration visa, i might also consider settling there Basically my question would be if im applying for the non lucrative visa that offers one year duration, they dont ask i guess how long im gonna stay there right? If thats thte case what the mininmum period i should take?

@@yagamilight64 the Non Lucrative Visa is a residency visa, the second part of the process is done once you arrive and you apply for residency. So you’re expected to settle there, and have a long term address in order to be on the Padron before you apply. And if you want to renew your residency after year one you can’t have spent more than 6 months out of Spain. So you can’t really use that visa as a travelling around thing.

I’ll answer one basic question though, as the partner of an EU citizen you’re not bound by Schengen rules so you don’t need to leave. You’re supposed to have applied to be a resident within 3 months of arrival in Spain but that nothing to do with Schengen. See you on the live chat.

I have watched dozens and dozens of videos, there has to be a faster way to get answers 😢 you have answered some of my questions on the live show before which was much appreciated. I didn’t have these questions at the time. My wife is also a British citizen so we are bound by the 90 day rule.

Sorry about that. I’m undergoing chemotherapy at the moment so I’m having to go very basic with videos, it’s too hot in my office to bear. August is not the best time to be ill. Stick with me and things will improve again. The Saturday video is mostly news rather than the live show this week. I’m playing around with what my mystery voiceover guy can do to keep people interested and amused.

@@youtoospain hope the chemo treatment goes well. My wife underwent chemo 12 years ago. The drugs are getting better all the time, but I can imagine the high temperatures you are getting must add to you feeling drained - so well done for continuing to work at the channel.

@@MobilePW thanks for your support and understanding. Yes the drugs and the methods are improving. They’ve split the usual 3 IV drugs up now for this type of cancer here, only one is now in the IV, the other 2 are taken as tablets spread over 2 weeks to reduce the blow.

@@youtoospain I did and still its entirely about the definition. Unless somebody intends to live out their days in a country not of their birth they are an expat, not an immigrant. It could not be clearer. Howver even if they are an immigrant, they are stil an expat, so if in doubt, always go with expat as it is a much more inclusive term.

There are lots of types of visa, they cost money because they have to be processed and staff have to be paid. The visas themselves are permission to travel and apply for residency on entry to a different country. It’s a complicated process and takes time. I can’t understand why you think it’s a ripoff to charge for that service
