We inserted the water filter but did not run the water … now the water is not running nor is the ice maker making any ice … can you help!!!???? What should we do?
Try to remove and reinstall and see if that fixes it. If that doesn't you can try to unplug the fridge for a couple minutes and then plug back in and maybe it will reset whatever is going on. If none of that works try putting in the old filter and see if it starts working. You may have the wrong filter. Let me know how you make out!
This actually gave me trouble at first too and I always forget exactly where you have to touch on the screen. I think it's somewhere in the middle and it will light up and you have to hold it in for a couple seconds to get the light off

We replaced ours but now water is coming out warm. It’s been 24 + hours since we replaced it. What could it be ?
Thats strange. Mine does this but only when it's in constant use and it doesn't have time to chill the water.

How do you reset the filter light after doing this?
I haven't done it in awhile but I believe you just press and hold on the confirm filter change button
You press the water or ice button and in small letters it’ll show an off button and you hold it down for 3 secs and it goes away

On mine the xwf works just fine. I just bought a replacement from Walmart that was also xwf and it is working well.
