It's not just about Deku's power, but also his *battle analysis* skills to strategize, reflect on his previous battles, and observe his opponent for current battle. His nerd quality that he had as a kid for analysis for all those years coming in to aid him even to now.
Deku's power is also more of a swiss army knife skill set, as it's not as much as individual power for strength as much as combining them for use. The extra quirks are more support type than offensive thus far.
The best part of this fight honestly is Deku’s *development* of trying to understand villains more and coming across a villain that *couldn't* be saved.
Deku at least called Muscular by his full name and tried to see if there was more besides his bloodlust, but not able to see anything past that. Realizing he only speaks the language of violence, so the fight is inevitable.

Deku has always strived to make OFA's power his own, so he only considers his power to be whatever his body can handle without damaging itself. That's why he calls 45% HIS full power, he can't really claim the remaining 55% that his body isn't yet ready for
It's important to note that Deku is hoping to get through a lot of these fights uninjured in order to have energy to fight All For One. Shindo vibrating Muscular to the point that his muscle fibers came loose was very helpful because it allowed Deku to finish the fight quickly. While I still think he could've beat him without the vibrating help, I think it would've been a bit harder and he might've gotten hurt doing it. The phrase is, "Think smarter, not harder." Muscular was fighting harder but neglecting how much damage Shindo actually did. He threw tactics out the window in exchange for a good fight and paid the price. Don't underestimate the power of vibrations. In more ways than one.
That fight was a good example of why having a battle strategy is always a good thing.
Also, Muscular is kinda a sadist here don't you think?..... "Midoriya, I MISSED YOU!!! Now hit me...!!" (I know its the thrill of a good fight but still, lol!)
17:44 - All Might being buff is his old normal body he flexes since after his injury from fighting AFO, which made his body have a weak form. So originally, he was buff like that until he got injured with damage to his stomach and respiratory system. So that weak form is now his resting state.

Muscular always had that rock type eye replacements. It was just a specific thing that the author did I assume to make him stand out more as a character. His thing was having a fake eye cause the two water heroes that were that kids parents back in season 3 when he fought muscular they ended up taking his eye out before muscular killed them.

7:22 in the manga deku doesn't float down but actually smashes into the riverground like all might did against the first nomu before the last punch. Looked way more intimidating but float is cool too

This is the most I been in love with the MHA anime since like season 3. Season 4 had some great emotional moments but something about the beginning portions of MHA were some if its great times. It may be nostalgia and biased sort of speaking but I got into the series BECAUSE of Deku. To have time where he shows how badass he can be it just really feels good.

That voice acting is on point. There's no triumph in his voice when he punches Muscular and says (thinks, actually) "Full Cowling: 45% ... This is my full power."
See, this is the value of a good call back and contrast. Muscular, I don't give a shit about. Kacchan's long lost evil brother can kiss the full waxing. However, "1 million percent" was a bittersweet but victorious moment for Deku and now "45%" is just bitter.
I don't even think music played. This beyond a chore, it's a drudgery for Deku.

He said 45% Impact. Impact is one of the former holders quirk. I think it increases the Kinetic energy of the impact. Basically it increases the kinetic impact of one of Deku's punches.
Here Deku wasnt using 100% of All for One because he was not damaged at all but what portion of All for One Deku was using combined with 45% of Impact clearly exceeds a normal 100% All for One because he just one shots Muscular here.
The key detail of Impact is even thought it increases One for Alls power There is no recoil to the user.
Combining Impact with OFA power Deku's strenght could potentially exceed TWICE All Might's strenght in his prime
The quirk you are referring to is called Fa-Jin, but that's not been introduced yet. That quirk will be shown in a few weeks' time. In this scene, Deku is merely referring to how much of One for All's output his body can handle now without suffering serious recoil, which would be 45% being his upper limit. Kinda like how back in season 4, Deku could handle 8% comfortably but when required he increased his output to 20%, even though it was difficult to maintain. Deku right now can probably comfortably handle 20% output, but when needed can use 45% before suffering injuries.
As for how Deku one-shot Muscular with a 45% smash when it's shown he can tank 100% smashes, Deku strategically lands the blow in the gaps between Muscular's muscle armor before he can replace the torn strands of muscle, meaning Deku landed a direct blow on Muscular's body that wasn't protected by layers of muscle before Muscular could even react. Remember, Deku was just barely able to dodge Muscular's attacks using only 5% previously, now Deku can move 9 times faster than that. Muscular stood no chance. This a clear example of fighting smarter, not harder.
The way I see it, Deku never did “100%” smash until maybe the time Eri was helping him. He wasn’t really capable of doing it until his predecessors unlocked it, he was just hyping himself up. That’s why season 3 “100% power smash” and “Million % power smash” were less powerful than season 6 45%.
It was an uncontrolled/unstable 100% just in arms vs a controlled/stable 45% impact with full cowling.
Look! The return of Nega-Deku and Anti Bakugo, at least that's what I call those two. One guy looks just like Deku but with a crap personality and the other looks like a female Bakugo (compare his mask side fin things and her hair) with an Implosion quirk and a really nice personality.
Grab Torino is just that anime trope of exaggerating how people lose some of their height as they get older, also that's just how All Might looks now cuz of the toll taken on his body from his injuries and the surgeries.

Deku gets shipped with majority of the characters in this series by the fandom but he specifically gets shipped a lot with mirko because they both rabbits lol. Deku a rabbit looking hero and hops like one. The creator even confirmed it in the series at one point. The rule 34 is wild cause rabbits fuck A LOT and they go wild when they doing it. Insane sex.
