🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saint Scotty! A man who won't hold a dollar up higher than his fellow man, thank you Scotty for all the years of making us better caretakers and owners of our cars.
Here, hear! Well said! 👍

I think you mean the yen, but still... I do enjoy his videos.
These product videos are my favorite bc I know I'm getting an honest review from someone who honestly tests the products. Please keep making these!!!
Raise your hand if you've been watching Scotty Kilmer for a long time🤚
How many times are you gonna post this attention seeking crap?
I think he deserves a 10 ,so I will raise both hands.
✋✋
Great videos and advice
🙋🏻♂️
You hooked me up with some more great products! Thanks!!
Thanks Scotty. I like these videos. Keep ‘‘em up.
I am new to Scott's site. What a blessing. I started my interest in cars as a child in the mid 1960's when my older brothers had their Chevys and Ford's. High school had 3 years of auto mechanics and machine shop so I got good understanding of engines and car systems. A pair of us had to rebuild a 4 cycle engine in the first semester then a 2 cycle in the second semester of year one. Years 2 and 3 were all about cars.
So, the constant updates from Mr. Wilmer are welcomed.
👍🏻 Thanks Scotty for your reviews, it's another layer of quality information. 🤚 Long time subscriber.
Looks like some stormy weather blowing in on Scotty.
A good tool to use is a breaker bar because sometimes impacts can strip bolt heads or nuts.
But sometimes the even torque of an impact is gentler on the bolt and makes it less likely to break.
Personally if I think something might break I soak it in PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench and after it soaks I use a regular wrench and work it back and forth. I’ll be very happy once I get a breaker bar.
been addicted to scotty the last week!
Thx Scotty, was looking for a multimeter
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you!
Scotty u are one of the few of your kind…thank you for all your honesty in todays artificial world…👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I hated head lamps for years ,a friend gave me a tiny little one runs on one AAA battery, Fenix brand, it is a brilliant light weighs nothing and runs for age's , you really do get what you pay for sometime s , good on you Scotty for your thrifty habit sharing advice
My 30 year old Radio Shack multimeter stopped giving me accurate AC readings last month. Going to try that automatic one. I’ve never needed one with all the features of an expensive unit. Thanks, Scotty. Sure did like that old RS multimeter, though. Got my money’s worth.
I got the multimeter today. Build quality is excellent. It actually has non contact current detector. BTW, the thing with Fluke is it can be certified recalibrated.
Thank you.
I just love this guy
You go Scotty! Always informative and never boring, that's for sure!
Yes...Yes...& Yes.
I do have a bore scope though better configuration on that one you got I might need to get that one. The election bike is nice.
My morning ritual: NPR then Scotty!
cool kewl
Hey Scotty ....your videos are great-I've learned so much. What do you think of products like Slick 50....do you really think they work. Please do a segment on Slick 50...Thank you.
I had an induced "trip" from the strobe effect of that light.
I just leave a headlamp in my vehicles that takes standard batteries but can still be recharged. If your batteries die, you have two backups now. Also its smaller. Only problem is it doesn’t really make you and your car visible to other motorists, but it does help with working on your car on the side of the road in the dark.
Oh man the Chinese company brand names. That one Top Gear episode they went to China and showed the Chinese generic Honda... and they named it 'Hongda' 😂
Now we have 'This company ain't stupid they put their name on it VEVOR!' This is just gold, thank you Scotty! 😁
I have to say the best flashlight I found (small portable one for keeping in the car) was a cheap Chinese one made by Coast, and I've had that for years. Dropped it, etc, and it still works well. Sad thing is it's better built than some of the name branded lights I had like Maglight. And it only cost $12 (takes 1-AA battery, and since it's LED, it lasts a long time, plus it has a "zooming" head so you can have either a floodlight-style beam or a spot light style beam). I wanted to get a few more because they were cheap but couldn't find them since then, but if I do see them again, I'm going to pick up a few more.... for $12 each it's not bad. My next best light is the Energizer 700 flashlight, and the one I have take (2) CR123 batteries but unfortunately they are discontinuing that model and moving to one with an integrated battery (that charges with a USB cable) which I'm not a fan of because of the internal battery (lights are the same though in terms of size, and specs). Bought a few of those and since they are being "discontinued" (the battery version) they're like $15 now (originally something like $29).
When you find something good for cheap it's best to buy a few.
Something I learned over my sixty years.
Harbor Freight has a nice Braun headlight. I love the dang thing!
ONYX Motorbikes youll love them
Photo cut-ins are the best, ha!
Play lights? Don't get me started. You see people walking their cute puppers around with spotlights with so much power. We've come a long way with LEDs; it's like Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I bought the multimeter you liked using the link in your video description and it rattled right out of the box. I went to install the batteries for the first time and the fuse wasn't in the fuse holder so I carefully use my tweezers to place the fuse on the fuse holder finger to press the fuse in and it falls right into the base of the holder before I was able to press the fuse in. I look closer with my glasses on and one side has a finger flat and the other side has a finger broke off. Requesting a replacement hopefully that one is ok BUT now I am worried that those fuse holder fingers are such cheap thin metal that if I have to replace the fuse the finger will break off.
Scotty spiting fax 🙌

Scotty your into PEVs too! Gotta group ride sometime 😂. We’ll ride past some Tesla cars stuck in traffic.
Does the charging cable for that light double as a tether so it won't blow away in the wind ?..
ancheer makes the best budget ebikes
Better than Consumer Reports. Thank you Scotty! Shucks, the Vevor 451P is now $79.99.
Scotty, I got one similar from U-Line.
My charge was much longer. I forgot the price, work bought it. I haven’t beaten it too much yet…..
Could I use a battery tender for a Honda hrv asking for a friend
Dollar store work light, like the 451P 3 in one camera, and Multi-meters at that price leave the fluke in home tool box leave this one in the car with the low price scan tool.
I checked out the Astro C3 @$800 US and I asked about Canadian pricing. A few days later a guy e-mails saying he is a Canadian distributor on the East coast, I'm in Ontario. The canadian price $3000 CDN. OUCH!
Also the light doesn't have hangers or magnets and the cord is too short so unless you're working inside your car, it won't reach anywhere
Wow sorry for the typos aside from typos how can make it last outside of oil changes u might tell me same thing u tell everybody but it's an interference engine oil changes are imperative but how do I make it worth the money I'm putting in 2017 kia forte lx no cruise
Are e bikes easier to ride than sports bikes like the Honda cbr?
Anyone have any information the 90 degree light Scotty showed?
Horst Fuchs Is back!
Does it have kinetic charging? It will probably be at full charge by the end of the video with all the waving around!
Does water do any damage to the bike??
Scotty
A short while back you featured a Chinese or Japanese dash camera which was very cheap and you said you liked it.
I am hard of hearing and could not pickup the brand name.
Could you please send me the name of the camera so I might purchase one.
I really enjoy your videos as does my wife.
Thank you for being so good at what you do.
Thanks
B. White
Thanks Scotty for giving us so much useful information. You truly are a BLESSING to this Mama, Nana and Great Nana because I don't mind working on my own vehicle (at least before all the computer junk and stupid sensors that to me are just a means of making poor people poorer).I can check all my own fluids and tire pressures. I don't need or want a sensor of any sort. I'd actually prefer a regular 6 cylinder motor with points, plugs and a distributor cap, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. I don't need anything else. One day ,I'll be able to get what I want. Thanks again Scotty 👍💞🤗💞🙏
Well said
I would love to speak to you in person. And learn the tricks directly from the source. I'm having an issue now with a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i. That has me completely stumped. To the point in ready to give up on it. Changed every sensor on it. And it's not fixed the issue. Code reader keeps throwing same codes. Bought oem computer and had it programmed for the car. And still same issues as before. Knew gasket kit on it. Everything in the engine looks perfect. I bet you could figure it out.
Did you try powering off the battery?
Pull the negative cable off the battery for an hour (go have lunch or dinner) and reconnect it to reset the ECU.
See if that fixes it.
The ASTRO bike link isn't working
Thanks for our daily 10 minutes of joy.
That "work light" looks very flimsy. If it was actually bright, you could just plug it into a power bank. The magnetic base is a good feature...maybe if it cost 10 bucks.
How do I get that electric bike?
Scotty Kilmer is my top celebrity
Hi Mr. Scotty, quick question. I was about to get a new valve cover kit installed into my '97 Altima, but now it's giving me problems with the front left suspension. I get the grinding noises while it's rolling, and a crackling/popping noise when turning the car. Would this be the wheel bearing, or the actual steering knuckle itself? Thanks.
Scotty doesn't answer questions here.
That’s one of those gotta be in person diagnosis problems. Too many different configurations even among the same models often. Sorry it’s given you issues.
If it's grinding while it's moving, it's most likely the hub bearing. It could also be the CV axle starting to go bad
Why don't you put your own valve cover in? I'll never understand peoplel paying garages t do simple jobs. But if it's making a noise when You turn, it's the cv joint, most of the time
I agree with these guys. Make sure the tire isn’t rubbing against the inner wheel well. You didn’t mention if the left side had lost ride height. You can easily swap the valve cover yourself. If you’re unsure about doing it. Don’t. Take it to a mechanic.
How much was the E bike?
Lol! Thanks Scotty. 🤣
That little scope is probably good for looking up at the catalytic converters if it fits down the O2 sensor holes
Well it's simple, if they send you a great product, they'll get a great review. If they send you junk, that's exactly what you're going to call it 👍
He says the light doesn’t last long and shows a picture of women looking mad at her guy for not lasting long killed me lol lol that’s funny
What's the bike's website?
The link to the bike does not work. Just a heads up
Hey Scotty does that new light last long? 😂
They had one like that at Lowes $34.99 I didn’t purchase it. Walmart had a better one and it’s corded. It was there line they use.
hello scotty I'm planning on purchasing a new car(it has to be under 25,000) for my 22yr old son in college, I'm going to pay for the car note and insurance the only the I want him to pay for is the oil changes. I was looking at the 2023 Honda HR-V or Toyota corolla I don't want a Kia or Hyndi, in your opinion are either of these cars dependable? The only things I'm considering when I make the purchase is if they are fuel efficient and mechanically sound. I also am planning of purchasing the 5yr extended warranty for the length of the loan so whenever something goes wrong he can take it back to the dealer. I don't want to purchase a used car cause I don't want to deal with any mechanical issues.
There are CE markings on products you buy in America? Its a marking approved for Europe lol
I want that bike but $2,700?! I wasn't expecting that. I need something I can ride to work and back which is about 10 miles away. Will it be difficult to put together for the average person?
I just want a secret compartment for my Weed.
The only one I can think of is the Lexus LS430.
Scotty is generating a lot of wind with all those hand movements!
I just checked the Astro C3 E bike online cost $2,699.00
You FAILED to mention the name of the electric bike manufacturer!!
The electric bike website cannot be found.
Right place at the right time. Enjoy your video's 👍🇨🇦
ASTRO c3 msrp $2699.00. Or the price of 2 expensive smart phones?
Scotty, you are the best
welp, got a new borescope now....jeeze
You ever tried a Sur-Ron, Scotty?
I DONT have Electric Bikes, I have a 2006 SUZ C50T after having 1974 SUZ 250GT that I put over 75K miles then in 82 I sub it for 78 SUZ GS1000 E, it had 15K miles. in 96 it quite running with 76K miles. I have a cyl drop out. I didn't think it was worth fixing. It got 32K miles. but I got run off the road by a truck that though he had the right to all the road. The only think that not been repaired it the finder that need to be repainted. I have a rule, no 2 wheel riding from dec to mar.
But does it last very long?
Scottie is changing rlly old manual gearbox oil a bad idea? If its only showing mild signs of wear?
Its splash lubrication. You can change it anytime!
Scotty doesn't answer questions here.
I have the Ariel Rider GRIZZLY V3. It is AMAZING. 35mph is a lot of fun, too.
7:26 Scotty, looks like Mother Nature is also trying to blow you away!
Pos light.
Something like that you should just buy right out of the part store
Your bike Is the best for sure . I have a Fiido
The good and bad of car repair products
I think it's safe to say Scotty ran over that "work light" after shooting this video.
The bike seat doesn't adjust. I'm tall and it looks too small.
Hows Tennessee treating you I'm moving there in 18 months great state!!!
Trouble with that bike Scotty, no loud pipes.
He seems to be dissatisfied with the light.
It is a Life Lesson rather than a light lesson!
Scotty Pennsylvania love you
Hey Scotty, you got any recommendations for a steering wheel lock?
yes buy a toyota...that way u wont need any wheel buts heck u wont even need tyres as these things last forever i mean just look at my 1994 celica hahaha
@@abdulsijad2419 I think you meant honda or toyota..
Of course they don't weigh much. Why do you think they're called lights?
When Scotty was rambling off cars he said ford( show a ford),
Chevy (showed a chevy), honda civic
( showed a lawnmower),
Lol...that was so hilarious.....
Not this video...but was a few weeks ago..
What's this👆?
I don't work less then 25 min. so in the middle of work the lights go out, not a good idea. now you're in the dark
