I love all your fibonacci spirals, Gina, but this piece is extra magical! Watching and learning from your videos is inspiring, so thank you for your generosity. I use c-hooks because of you :) they work like a charm. But how do you secure your canvas + c-hooks, onto the spinner? Looking forward to seeing more creations from you xXx
Hi Gina. I was hoping to find the ratios you use. Thank you so much for sharing that! Please forgive me if you already stated this (and I missed it), but can you tell us how are you mixing your background color for these? Do you just add 1:1 Floetrol and then thin w/ your 9:1 water to Floetrol mix? Also, are you just using American Floetrol for these?
Looks like a beautiful tasty cake. Loving everything about it. You have patience Gina. It pays off. Sachmo is such a great assistant. Have you ever let him walk around in a small bit of paint to make some art?
Never on purpose, but he has taken upon himself a few times, and only on commissions 🙄
❤ it...! Where do you find the round canvases? Also I've been using silicone for my cell activation... Does the sat. Enamel paint mixed w standard act as the cell activator?
The matte paints create cells when used with glossier paints. No silicone necessary. I get these canvases from Michael’s.
I love this piece! Can you tell me more about your spinner setup and how you manage to level the canvas to the table while it sits on the spinner?
