I've been into basket weaving, wood carving,, quilting, and writing. Hands are shot. Now doing fluid art. But, had to curtail that for the last 6 months to let a broken back heal. This one has turned out beautifully.

I like how the white blended with the green and the blue. I don't think I've seen you use both metallics and satin enamel in the same painting before.
I remember one artist giving the advice "stay in your comfort zone" -- which is of course the opposite to what everyone else says -- but his reasoning was that if you do things you're comfortable with, you not only increase your skills, but you increase your confidence, and that's a much better position to start from when you do start experimenting, rather than _forcing_ yourself out of your comfort zone and then shattering your confidence if things don't work out. I mean, sure, it's not good to get stuck in a rut, but IMHO, one is more likely to get stuck in a rut because of lack of confidence.
I agree! If you are feeling shaky, do what you are comfortable with. The rest will come!

Hi Gina, thanks for sharing this and explaining the technique, I have not tried a spiral yet, it’s beautiful. I have only been doing fluid art for a year now and sometimes struggle as what to do next, as you say, lost my mojo especially with my channel but as you said I have my music too, playing the bass guitar 🎸 😊

I wonder if a squirt of GAC 800 in the cups would screw up the boulder cells?
Gina, what percentage of the base coat do you put in the bottom of your cup first?
I hate asking you this but I really love this piece but I cannot find the deco emerald green in this video. I tried the links listed and the don’t have it. Do you know if it’s been discontinued? Deco arts has the 24 carat gold and silver but I don’t see any others. Please help. Thanks
