I’m amazed your channel hasn’t grown much during all this time, specially with your Porsche k swap achievement, I hope once you get the Porsche swap kit series going on it can grow more, I appreciate all the videos you make about the different configurations of engine an numbers, it’s so cool to see. I love your channel bro.
Have a CL9 like this one out in South Africa. This is the exact setup I am going for, only currently on 3.5" CAI, PLM style header and 2.5" dual exit exhaust (maybe a bit restrictive). Good to see that the figures and expectations I have of a setup like this is on the money.
I know you are correct about the limited VTC, limiting torque but I have in the past seen that going from SRI to full CAI, made me pick up some nice nms and that was with just back-to-back testing, without retuning. So I think there might or might not be about 185 - 190 ft-lb in there still? But then anything more would need a 50 deg VTC gear.
Tsx content ftw 💯! Cean tsx making decent power, love to see it ! I was supposed to be gwtting my tsx tuned this week, but unfortunately some scumbag decided to steal my cat off my car in the middle of the night 😔 so gotta get that situated first now.
@bentleysaelee5745 my thoughts exactly 😆... I have plm header to 2.5" exhaust, but I have been thinking about going to 3" to squeeze out that extra power.
Hey nick im not sure if you'd respond but im in the process of swapping a k24 in my rsx type s. I need to keep the stock cat for the inspection here in nova Scotia. Can i make decent power or is the cat that restrictive
@@bentleysaelee5745rbc will lose power all across the power band with the stock tsx vtc . Once vtc is changed then rbc goes crazy top end and lose little torque
Hi, so I have a 2004 tsx 6 speed. I bought it for a swap to go carb legal in California. Long story short is I plan to use the stock ECU from time to time. Originally I was just going to put my link fury on it, but I think an extra ECU with flashpro on it sounds nicer to swap back and forth. My question for you, if you are willing to answer is can I just pull my stock 2004 manual ecu and plug in the 2007 manual ecu without any extra wiring and then tune it with that using the flashpro? Really appreciate the help. Thanks.
@@Esdru221 I know I need that 07-08 ECU. What I'm asking is if it's a direct plugin to the factory harness of the 04-06 cars. Like can I just go buy an 07/08 manual ECU and plug it into my car without any extra wiring. Ignoring the immobilizer because this is going in a swapped car.
@@Esdru221 oh interesting. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that information. Would you know by chance that if I did that and then went back to the stock ECU for smog, would it then throw a code with the extra wire on the port? I don't see it doing so, but figured I'd ask.
@@PSIJOE honestly I don't know, but don't think so. Anyway, with a good tune you should be perfectly able to pass your smokes test with the 07 ecu...as long as you fit the catalytic
Yes, tsx content!
Right!

Sick! just when i was looking for tsx content you upload!! I have an 04 with flashpro(not tuned yet). i love the vids!!!
that's pretty amazing, peak torque at 2500 RPM

This video excites me lol!
U killed it nick thanks again
Amazing results with this setup ❤
Literally like my cu2 u tuned Nick ! Nice list of bolt ons ❤

test pipe to a full 3 inch exhaust

This is so close to my cl9 Honda Accord euro.
Would like more details on what this car is using for mods and more power....
need more tsx content 🙏🏾
Good looking TSX.

Wouldn’t the k24 make more power with the stock rbb manifold instead of the rbc cause no k20 vtc?
more low end maybe but top end power prob not

I have an automatic tsx 2008 ,can I put flashpro and few bolt ons?
That thing sounded CRAZY when it hit the blow off valve LMAO
No blow off valve, it's naturally aspirated 😂
@@keep_it_low_bro im hella dead lol. It was just hitting the rev limiter lmao
How much more would it have gotten with a true CAI if any?
Man I'd get my car tuned if I was nearby. Currently doing a etune and they can't seem to get the WOT tuning right. It's delayed around .5 seconds
💯 👍
how high can you rev it with k20 oil pump?
Anyone know what time those are
How come the max torque is right at the start of the run? 2500 and 2900 rpm? My TSX with similar mods put down a little more.
This setup needs a upgraded VTC cam gear to allow for more VTC in the midrange. It would have made a lot more TQ if it had one

No, you can't. You need a 07-08 TSX ecu for use flashpro

@@PSIJOE oh, yeah it is a direct fit. But you will need to wire the can bus pin to the obd2 port because 04-06 doesn't have it
