I stayed with my Thai girlfriends family and I really love Singha now and they drink it with ice, which most Americans aren’t used to but it’s actually really refreshing, they’d put a few cubes in glasses and open a big bottle that we’d share and refill our glasses, great with Thai food.
Interesting, but would make sense in really hot weather.
Loved this series and the breakdown of each beer. I just had Kloud for the first time this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll have to try the Sapporo Reserve next.
Thank you! Yes, Kloud is my pick for Korean beer.
You are giving me some ideas of beers to try. I am focusing on European beers for now, but I have access to a local Asian specialty store where I should be able to get most of these.
Yes, I would really recommend trying some of the better East Asian beers if you can.
I think that “taste” you’re referring to is the rice that Europeans don’t use. It provides that sharpness and subtle sweetness that differentiates Asian beers from one from the West
I have been wondering that increasingly as I try more Asian beers. It's probably the case.
You called the Sapporo Reserve Asahi Reserve lol
I've had all of these, save for Kloud.
I'd give Kloud a try
