21:01 To me, what makes that letter to his wife and daughter even more saddening and even more enraging is not only did that man die in vain because the war is only in armistice with the whole peninsula more divided than ever but also died truly believing that he was fighting for a better life for not only his kids but the kids of all Korea and that it would continue growing better for generations to come. Instead he died for a cause that would create an environment of suffering and despair to all living humans, animals, and even plants; for a cause that would someday arrest, beat you senseless, and then put you in a labor camp for the crime of picking corn and other non digested mill seeds/grains and eating it for sustenance; a cause that create a man made famine on the entire country and then sold the aid send by charity from abroad to other corrupt nations or third party’s; a cause that in all likelihood has wiped out his entire family by now.

The United States invited Stalin to invade Manchuria (and therefore Korea) at Yalta in 1945, which is how this started. Jiang Jieshi, president of the Republic of China, was not consulted and was enraged/astounded. This was one reason he lost the civil war to the Communists, as the Russians gave them all sorts of arms, territory and materiel in/from Manchuria. Anyway, had the US not done this, Korea would have remained in one piece, no Kim Il-sung, no Korean War, maybe no Communist China. FDR was a great man but this was probably his greatest mistake - he thought he could sweet talk Stalin.

What "hidden history" is revealed here? I don't know much about the Korean war but learnt nothing I didn't already know. Random footage, sparse narration, badly voice-acted letter readings, click-bait title. Waste of 45 minutes.

Uncovering what hidden, top secret history of the forgotten war? I've known this for 45 years plus. Also, cant hear the narration in parts because of bad editing.

UA-cam needs to re-think censorship. When a documentary has too much footage censored off, there's no point in watchin at times.

Love watching anyone that opposes the usa’s military might crumble. First scene was awesome. Dude walked right up and blam. Next time pick the correct side and that won’t happen. Didn’t we just show you we’d put the sun on earth in Japan. Don’t support stupid causes and you won’t win stupid prizes. I’ve never felt remorse. We are the best for a reason. Imperialistic is how we should be. Take what’s ours and crush the rest. Russia had the idea in the 60’s-late 80’s. What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine. Try to stop us.

This was a more civilized war where there was no rubbles burying civilians or bombs vaporizing lives of non-combatants from every corners of the country ,as it is happening today in Ukraine. What went wrong, making us more barbaric in war, than in the past, especially Russians and Putin's special military operation.

I generally enjoy the even handedness of HH videos. .this one is way off. It's bad enough just getting the entire US military on the same page.. but the KOREAN war was even more mired by the UN That was forced to deal with the invasion then handcuffed The US military with lack of total support to put USSR and China in its place.
