Discipline is definitely hard to come by, you conquering your fatigue is inspired to see, I’m excited to see you get into a habit, then going to the gym will be a natural battle rather than a forced one. Your mind is stronger than you think. Don’t let it control you, stay swoll brother

I really appreciate how candid you are about not only detailing the ups but the downs too, especially the part about the stress getting to you so hard that you had a sorta out-of-body/trance-like experience which to me parallels the sort of beneficial aspects of I've found via meditation. Like people think it's just sitting around doing yoga but a large part of it is simply focusing on mindfulness and becoming totally aware of yourself and your surroundings and allowing your mind to come to it's own conclusions that your ego experiences, rather than vice versa where your ego dictates your mind's focus. Like how you mind decided to re-experience your past and you were just a 3rd party watching and feeling those feelings once again instead of say, you trying to think so hard about your situation and scrambling to find a solution. It's so easy to be an overthinker especially in this fast paced tech-based world, it's humbling to just sit down and destress in such a natural way.
Anyway amazing session yet again! Keep it up man

I hope to see more of these, I honestly had originally gotten a VR headset to use as a replacement for workouts and stuff because the idea of going to the gym scares me, but im beginning to realize that combining VR and real workouts would help me a lot better. These videos might help me on my road to a healthier weight (I am over 300 pounds). Keep going man, we are rooting for you.

This is truly beautiful. I already had tremendous respect for you and your opinions but this open and honest candor, especially regarding your mental state was extremely impressive.
I relate to absolutely everything you said so much. I used to be a professional boxer and MMA fighter in local shows, coach in both sports, massage therapist, repair man etc. Then my ulcerative colitis went nuts and I ended up losing my entire large intestine and half of my small intestine. Now, 4 years later, I have basically been bed ridden, disgusted with my inability to do anything without extreme difficulty, every task has massive side effects. Granted I have a bit more excuse than others, I'll spare you the details, but it's not an excuse to just let life happen around me. You just made a difference in the life of a miserable person. Thank you.

Such a wonderful thing to read, really, thank you for sharing and I am so glad my little struggle and my candour can give you that encouragement, which was my hope in showing it. It’s my honour, and you’ve made my day 🙏🏻
Take care of yourself and all the best getting back on your feet, literally and metaphorically 😄

Love the realness of these videos chap, takes a lot to publicly share this stuff. I hadn't done any exercise for around 2 years until 2 months ago and I started crossfit. I would recommend, the motivation comes from the group you're with and and the trainers. There's a sense of community that gets you through. If you can afford classes it's very worth it, I feel so much stronger and more energetic even only just 2 months. I also eat a plant based whole foods diet which makes me feel full of energy.
Good luck with your quest, consistency is better than reps and weights!

Keep up the great work ❤❤. I’ve been doing MMA from a very young age and something that may help with your gassed feeling while performing the vr forms is sharply exhaling during your movements. We do this while striking and it helps keep our muscles regulated

Not bad, but could be much better. A topic I’ll get into more when the series matures and finds its flow. Cost of living and the need for extreme discipline in the face of so much processed, but cheaper, junk, is a big factor at the moment. Ideally I’d like to live full ketogenic when feasible.

Your workout program is a waste of time. If you want to get stronger and better results, stick to compound exercises only.
And switch it up to push / pull: One day push, one day pull. Push is bench press, squats and shoulder press. pull is deadlift, pull ups and rowing. You don't need more exercises than this. workout from monday to friday. saturday and sunday should be spent more outside, running, walking bicycle. Every day you should work out.
Also dips is a waste of time since you work your triceps and chest which you already do in the bench press.
If you hate going to the gym: buy a full rack at home so you don't have to go to the gym. Also we are social creatures. If you stay too much in-doors not communicating with real humans you will be depressed regardless. gaming is sadly not a hobby that will make you happy. good luck!
