You can tell he's a GREAT father, every time I've seen his kid wander into a stream he is automatically happier (he always has a positive disposition but even more so). As a father of a teenager I'm blessed that my kid has the same positive disposition and easy going nature that I've always strived for, its amazing how a child raised in a loving environment will 99.9999% grow up to be that way as an adult. This video inspired me to get the same case, and it's great! Linus was just putting the hard drive into the sled the wrong way. there is a small tap on the bottom, that lets you open up the thing, put the drive in and close it back up. If you just bend it and wedge the drive in there, the pins aren't going to be in the screw holes of the drive properly, so they are going to get caught lol. The two stock fans in the front are horribly loud btw, you are going to want to replace those, but luckily the front even fits two 140mm fans. The back fits a 120mm fan, and at the bottom in the back, there is some space for two 80mm fans. 80 mm fans are just a noisy, low cooling power mess, and most hard drives don't even need any cooling. But I guess it's nice to have the option, if you are using it as a server case or something like that, and you don't care about noise and just want optimal cooling. The covers for the 3,5 inch drive bays just snap into place, the mounting of all the drives is tool less, and you can also mount 2,5 inch drives in the 3,5 inch bays, either by screwing them in from the bottom in case of the front bays, or by using the included adapter in case of the internal bays. You can also take the motherboard tray out with 4 thumb screws, assemble everting on there and just slide it in and put the screws back, which saves you the old hassle of wedging your ports into the io shield while trying to land the motherboard onto standoffs.
I have a feeling that Linus is playing this prickly persona, but is in reality a really nice person. That's the nice thing about solid cases; they'll last forever. My current PC case is a black Corsair C70 Vengeance, and so long as hardware standards don't change; I'll keep using it.
Linus says "Darlin'" like he's from the deep south lol.

no the heck he doesn’t
The part with is daughter is so wholesome
I love how I spent the last 10 months of my life trying to learn everything about modern day PCs and Linus then continues to make this video as I am just about done
It's always worth it to have a new skill

“This is not my cleanest cable management!”; Still waiting to see the cleanest cable management.
"cleanest cable management reveal" is probably a 15m sub goal
I know its a joke but he has a video called minimilast setup or something
Go watch it
Case brilliant, you can even rest your feet upon it. Part pretty good also.
Why did I only find this video 3 years later? Dad Linus was the cutest and most wholesome thing I have ever seen from a LTT video
I’m surprised Newegg sponsored this after two mad saying they were giving me old eggs

I think work linus is cool, I know its easy to chirp on the guy. but he has really cool staff which most of are his friends. and who you surround yourself with is a reflection of who you are. His staff is cool, linus is cool. im off the hate train for linus.
Like you i love when ever he is sharing things involving his family or home, the first video of his i watched was when he tricked out his kids little jeep baby with a battery like 10x stronger then stock and broke a wheel off lol.
I think his jerk persona is on the more endearing side, but knowing when to be positive and when to crack down on mistakes is what separates a just friendly boss from a good boss
His children are so polite whenever they're in his videos and I love it! It's so wholesome! What having a good and stable father figure in your life does to a mf.
I don’t know, it being hot enough to warm my coffee *is* a feature I’m looking for.
It should not warm your coffee, but make your coffee... I bet from growing the plants up till brewing it.
I love that your daughter casually strolled in and helped out. She's adorable!
3:18 why does Linus sound like Kermit the frog when he says over 2494 reviews
LMFAO, was just about to comment
I thought that that was his Jordan B. Peterson impression
Damn, I thought Kermit was reviewing the PC Parts
"it posts... YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!" *runs round like a loon*
Lol
It's amazing that they ended up with a build that kind of made sense.
Linus : "you" = "US/Canadian citizen"
Everyone else : "you" = "you"
yeah but i think it's fair. Because they just earn money through american clicks (...)
It's probably due to shipping
Dont you know that Americans get offended if you mention the rest of the world exists?
@@Singurarity88 it's due to sweepstakes laws around the world

I've been using that case since 2015, I can tell you it is by far the easiest case to cable manage, outstanding airflow, and super easy to work in, love it

and so incredibly polite, good job raising her Linus
Letting his daughter help earned my sub. ❤
Linus talking to his kids is the most wholesome thing in the world
4:50 He missed the perfect opportunity for LTT water bottle.
Probably because this video is entirely sponsored by Newegg
can we appreciate how good of a dad linus is

I actually built a pc from Newegg using this methodology 12 years ago. It got a graphics card recently because I didn’t initially need graphics performance, swapped the hard drive for Windows 10, and it still games fine. 🤷♂️
I love how he doesn't even flinch when his daughter walks in
Why would someone flinch when their child came into a room? Sounds mildly abusive
@@AnneALias in what universe is that abusive the reason they would flinch is because of the surprise sound that they didn't expect
@@depyjelly There wasn't a sound here just a visual image of his daughter. See the comment I replied to. It says "when his daughter walks in" not "when his daughter makes a sound." You talk about a surprise sound but that is not what I or the commenter say.
@@AnneALias Perhaps because they're recording?
@@xero2715 Perhaps or perhaps not. You wanna "perhaps" all day?
"This is not my best cable management"
- Linus whenever he builds a pc
I bet his best cable management is on his/yvonne's personal rigs... which is funny because usually people tend to treat other people's stuff with more care than their own. XD
