- I try to go out and make short and fun videos that I think might inspire some of you to get out and enjoy all the different aspects of metal detecting. In this video I am detecting a local creek using the basic Park Multi 2 settings. I usually try to make videos such as this so you can see the display number and hear the tones because most detectorists find this helpful when learning a new machine. I am out in a local creek near me and it usually is very trashy, but it is a popular swimming hole and full of people throughout the summer. A good place to put in some learning hours on the machine.
If you go to detect a creek or shallow water, make sure you bring the proper tools for your area. In my area it is very rocky and sandy, with big chunks of limestone. So I have a pick that I use to dig through gravel and pry up rocks quickly. Get out with your #noktalegend and have some fun in the water on hot days. ***Make sure if you are in water with a current, to tether your machine, pinpointer and tools or they may just float away never to be seen again.
Tell me about some cool creek or water finds you have made with The Legend in the comments. Happy Hunting my friends. Subscribe if you have not already, thanks.

Creeks are a good way to really learn your detector and stay cool in the summer. Plus you will eyeball a lot of other finds such as old bottles, arrowheads, etc. I really enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
