Live dig Nov24 Nokta Legend 1 17 Deep Tones #noktalegend
Переглядів 40121 день тому
Live dig with #noktalegend version 1.17 and using Deep Tones setting. Check out the settings in the first few minutes of the video. I used all metal mode, Park M2, sensitivity about 22, 6 tones, IF 1, DT 3, Stability 3, Recovery 5, BC 0. Just out practicing grid patterning and putting hours on the detector. Trying out the pinpoint improvements....??? Still don't feel as the pinpoint setting is ...
How to install Bartact Seat Covers for 23 Gladiator without rear armrest #Bartact #Jeep #Gladiator
Переглядів 7788 місяців тому
This video shows how to install the Bartact seat covers for the 2023 Jeep Gladiator JT without the rear seat armrest. There are a few videos out on installing Bartact seat covers, but none that I could find for the rear seat that did not have the armrest like mine. Since I was installing them anyway, I thought I would record the process and maybe it would help someone else. Let me know if this ...

Back out into the woods. Thought I would get out before the honeysuckle grows too thick. This was where I found the silver dime and buttons. Live Dig Detecting! Jewelry at the tot lot Nokta Legend
Переглядів 3408 місяців тому
I was getting stir crazy sitting around the house on a Sunday, you know how it is. I thought I would get out and film a live dig today at the park. So I ran down to the park, with one go pro battery and my trusty Nokta Legend with the 6" sniper coil and hit the basketball court and tot lot. I was only intending to film about 15 minutes worth, but ended up with over an hour. So if you can stand ...
Old Homesite Detecting found some treasures and old military relics #noktalegend #metaldetecting
Переглядів 3868 місяців тому
On today's adventure, I head out to another old homesite in the woods. The honeysuckle is just starting to leaf up, so I needed to hit these sites soon. I show you what to look for when you are trying to locate an old site after you have arrived (using your research and map techniques, right?). I am using the Legend, but I reverted it back to 1.09, I was going to make a video on Iron Filter set...
Recovery Speed Practice Nokta Legend #metaldetecting #noktalegend #parkdetecting
Переглядів 1,2 тис.9 місяців тому
I decided to get out on a foggy morning and get some practice time in on the Legend. Today I am practicing with changing recovery speed and coil sweep speed. The higher the recovery, the faster you can sweep, you will lose some depth, but the sound and size are pretty close to what the item is. The lower the recovery, the slower you should sweep, you may gain depth, items seemed to sound louder...
Coinshooting on a quick outing #metaldetecting #noktalegend

Today's adventure is just a quick outing to coinshoot an area, maybe at lunch if you only have an hour or so. Basic park settings on the Nokta Legend. I do play around with the Pitch setting in sounds, but I usually only use this when metal detecting in the creeks. Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching and get out there and find adventure. Metal Detecting a roadside rest stop by the river #noktalegend #metaldetecting
Переглядів 1,1 тис.9 місяців тому
Today I was out looking for some cool spots to metal detect and stumbled on a little roadside rest stop by a river. It looked like it might have been there for a while and maybe a picnic spot over the years. Tried it out for an hour or two with the Nokta Legend, using the LG30 coil. Watch and see what I found. And as always, thanks for joining me on this adventure. I hope it inspires you to get...
Local Park Detecting Nokta Legend v1.13 Finds with Target ID's #metaldetecting #noktalegend

On today's adventure I am out getting in some more hours on the Legend at a local park. (I am also trying out some new channel thumbnails, so let me know what you think in the comments). I decided to make sure to list the target ID's as I detected in the video because I know that you can't always see the screen on my detector. I think this might give you all a better idea of what to expect when...

You should try the same park in Field mode. I keep it on Field
I may try it for practice. It would probably need much higher iron discrimination. I like to practice with settings at this park.
Oh well, livestream shut off at about 4 mins. Will post the rest of the recorded video later. 🤷
Always swing over the the same hole when you put the plug back. That iron could be masking your target.
Good advice!
I haven’t posted in months. Just now getting back out
I haven't caught one of your videos lately. Strange
Do you know a good metal detecting forum to join?
Haven’t checked forums in forever, but there are several facebook pages for the Legend that have good info.
Good vid, best on the internet. My problem is that can't get the bolt to the rear seat belt removed. It is stuck pretty good. I even sprayed 10D40 to see if it will loosen any. Did you have a difficult time with yours? d
I used a ratchet gun
I use pitch tone a lot on the beach
I like to use it more around water and rocks, the only beaches around here are state park lakes and the sand is only about 8 inches then it is hardpack. Occasionally find jewelry. I just don't go there until winter when crowds are gone.
I live in Clarksville Ohio. Just down the road from Morrow
Clarksville looks like it would have some good detecting.
Awesome channel my friend , thanks for sharing , New SUB.
Thanks and welcome
I am looking at Bartact for my JL, how are these holding up?
I like them. My driver bottom seat cover has moved. So I have to see if the velcro came loose. No color fading, easy to clean.
Thank you for this video. Mine just arrived today for my 2024 and what a pain these are lol. That flap thing on the back of the front seats at the bottom had me tripped up pretty good. Ended up doing exactly what you showed. Thanks again.
How has this held up?
The velcro glue on the camper didn’t hold and also faded. Maybe 1.5 years. There is probably a better velcro for outdoors out there, or maybe figure a snap or magnetic system to hold it.
Promo-SM
Ended up being big chunk of metal slag from an old railroad.
Parasol slide
Thanks
Heeey bro! The legend work fine for you! Good luck my friend... Cheers from southern Europe your new friends and subscribers... Also start filming recently..so looking forward to have many friends from detecting hobby.. Cheers!!!!!
The Legend is definitely a great detector. I use a GoPro Hero 9 and my IPhone XR to film. I use the chest harness for the GoPro. Good luck out there, looking forward to vids.
Cool and relaxing place to hunt Jeff. Nice finds! Subbed!
Thanks, the woods are the best.
@@J777Adventures oops I forget which channel I'm on when making comments sometimes, meant to do this from the joy of treasure hunting! 😀
I figured it out, Lol.
Parasol slide ,the ring thing
Ah, that is probably what it is. Thanks!
You found some nice things!!
Thanks, they were unexpected in that area for sure.
Nice diggins Jeff, we're still waiting on spring up here in Alberta Canada 😎👍🏻
We are just now warming up here, but yesterday was in the 30's. The ground was diggable though. It's actually my favorite time to get out.
This was a great video. I love watching these longer live dig videos showing what we really find. Especially can slaw, pull-tabs and pennies.
Thanks. I had fun doing this one, that coil really helps for this kind of dig. I wasn't looking for anything deep and I could find and dig it quick. But the reality of the hobby is the evil can slaw and the stinkin' zincolns. But I did find some jewelry, the turquoise ring ended up being silver.
@@J777Adventures I don't us my LG15 enough. I really need to use it more, but I seem to be able to get the LG30 dialed in on tot lots with recovery speed and sensitivity where I overload on poles etc and can usually pick up coins etc. I'm sure I still miss a lot though. Keep these videos coming! Im across the water in Southern Indiana, I'd love to come that way and do a joint hunt some day.
Great job man Love the video's speedster pin point and very informative on several levels not to mention vid's like this are great for the hobby... Cleaning up and reporting poison bushes on a Tot lot sweet Jesus nice share
Thanks - I didn't think I would have anything to talk about if I made a vid like this, LOL. I guess I talk to myself a lot, haha. Yes that poison weed will grow about 6 foot tall so I know they will get it out of there before the warm weather, but it is very dangerous. The bumps are like poison ivy but they stay for weeks and it burns and scars. Poison hemlock is nasty.
Is the 1.13 up to par?, ive been worried about upgrading from 1.09
I have mixed feelings on it. I didn't think I was making the finds in 1.13 that I was in 1.09. But I wanted to try the accupointer through my headphones, so I installed 1.13. In my latest video, I went back to 1.09 and made some good finds. It could just be the area I was at, it could be the update. Just try it out and see, you can always go back to 1.09.
Good show. You should try the same instead field only changing to Field mode. I did on a patch of ground that had no targets on Park mode. Found vintage motorcycle toy, a dime and 2 pennies
I will try it.
Thumbs up 😎👍
Thanks, this was a fun hunt.
Give you a little secret if you are in a blanket of iron use Beach mode I got 3 IHP yesterday a 1866 in decent shape that is almost a $100 dollar coin recovery 7 still no problem in depth I mostly run park but beach got it done at a 1789 church
Thanks I will have to try it. I really don't have too much problems even with the factory defaults and iron, but I have noticed a significant drop in good finds with v1.13, coins sound iffy now. I switched one of my Legends back to 1.09 and started making finds again. Have you noticed that?
@@J777Adventures when. I bought mine legend it had the 1.07 update I got a great deal with the older stock legends $499 the only difference I can see is the fiberglass top shift my son has the newer version legend and we both do well he does seem to find more quarters then me running field mode but just recently he missed a Mercury dime that I was able to get on his side of a 2 acre lot I usually take the right side and he takes the. Left you no how hard it is to hunt next to a person using the same machine we are both on the 1,11 update I won’t buy another Nokia pinpointer my wife bought me one a few years ago ago paid good money and it broke in less then a year I recently found a company that has some really great PP for $32 bucks it also comes in yellow which is great because I have a tendency to always lose mine in the huge farm fields lol
Brilliant hunt and sone cool finds brother
Thanks, hoping to come up with some better finds in the future. Most of these parks have been pounded out.
Thanks for the videos on the legend. Just got the legend last week. I was doing some practice this weekend in the back yard. Enjoying your vids.
Thanks. When I first got my Legend a few years ago, I just used the factory settings and only changed the sensitivity. I dug almost everything until I started learning the sounds and numbers. I discriminate what I dig now mostly just due to time, but the best learning is just to put hours on and watch vids. @mentalmetal and @paystreaksuperfreak have really good vids on learning the features of the Legend. Happy Hunting!
low an slow its how you to swing guess one of the older detector first machine garett TR their was no vdi was back in the 90s yes i have the older legion with metal shaft same one like new ones with 1.13 update always like to hear the deep targets the Prosser in these machines are not that fast
I have noticed that the lower you go with the recovery speed, it seems that the sound has a slight delay. I started on an old whites coinmaster 6000d, then an XLT, nox 800 and now the Legend. I have an ATPro just because I think that seems to do the best with relics. What do you think?
I found a old single shot pistol civil war sometimes good things are made of iron
I do dig iron depending on how deep and where I am at. I like finding old horseshoes and tools. Most of my area was farmland.
Good practice! Well done.
If you see a 48 to 50 it usually a silver dime or a IHP but a few months ago I got a 50 to 51 I thought it was going to be a regular quarter it ended up being a seated quarter only 4 inches lol I recently got a ww2 sterling 148 infantry Ohio it was very heavy weight 13 grams look up the 148 some true heroes unfortunately no name only the maker CK Grouse
I have only had silver dimes at 46. Anything in the 50s for me has been quarters.
Ki found 3 silvers yesterday using m3 park mode there is a lot of aluminum pieces around it work great it good to experiment I found 72 silvers last year got 5 silver coins and 6 silver rings so far in 2024 if you left your coil a do and still get a higher signal it usually aluminum
Yes, I still am having a little trouble adjusting to the v1.13, I have put a lot of hours in on the other versions, but it just seems to me so far, that this version is not producing the sounds and results I am used to. A lot of the places I detect have also been pounded out over the years because we have a local club in the area as well. So silver is few and far between.
Yeah, I'm also trying to get better pinpointing with the LG30. Like the bigger size, but it's just hard to visualize the center for some reason
I think there must be an art to it. I might try burying a coin and marking it to practice.
❤Nice
Thank you for watching!
nice hunt. It really helps me learn my Legend even when I can't get out and hunt. Curious how you film, which camera and mounting system you are using?
I use a gopro 9 on a chest harness, I think it is called a chesty.
@@J777Adventures me too, just seems hard to keep the thing pointed at the right angle for capturing both the swinging and then the digging. What lens setting do you use, wide or normal? I need to find a method that works better cause often when I kneel down to dig, the camera is showing my knees not the hole.
Let’s go let’s go treasure and adventure 🎉❤️✌️🇺🇸🌎🌺👵
Nice hunt jeff👍🤓👍. Thumbnail is fine👍
Thanks, I think it looks better.
I found close to 72 silver s in 2023 and so many other old coins and jewelry if you can find areas were it hasn’t been hit to hard the legend will find you coins that others miss
Great job. We have a club in our area, and most parks etc, have been pounded over the years. So great finds are few and far between. Every so often I get lucky. So far the Legend has performed the best of all my machines I have owned. Including Nox 800, ORX, XLT and ATPro. Thanks for watching!
for a digging shovel run a root slayer great for use of planting bushes or small trees dig nice plugs with it
I really like my 18 " predator, I can use it while I am kneeling and it doesn't wear out my wrist like my Lescher digger. I was trying out my new nokta adjustable shovel on this vid. Kinda heavy, but works well. I also have a grave digger, but the angle on the shovel head tends to hold clay dirt on it when digging in my area.
where your tooth brush with water spray bottle check them dates
I always forget to bring it or fill it. Thanks for watching!
live in a house built in 1890 with run running nokta all the detectors have past over this target mine lab etrac hard one to learn minelab 600 garett at pro with 13 inch coil that 40 khz does make a difrence
I have a Garrett AT Max, double D coil and I believe the pinpoint spot it where the coil connects to the pole.
Yes, the double d's should pin point there. I need to bury a coin and mark it, and practice. Most all of my detectors until this one were round coils. Thanks for watching!
Please stop letting your pin pointer set beside your shovel. It wears down your battery faster and is annoying for us to listen to 😊
Thanks for watching! I just happen to be right handed and everything lays to my right. At least I don't use the beep sound like some other channels, right? LOL
Good practice run until the real treasures come! Good workout for the Legend. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks for watching, I try to put as many hours on it as I can. Not super happy with v1.13 yet. I don’t seem to be making as many good finds as I did with prior versions.
I usually walk the woods behind our house or the local state game lands. I like digging old dumping grounds. I enjoyed the video.
Thanks for watching. If you enjoy that kind of thing, I have 4 videos from an older 60's to 70's dump site posted on my Finds and Stuff playlist, ua-cam.com/play/PLtSSHYbonPu0w0rguGRER_ZUnMwVdk7rY.html. You might enjoy those. Southwest Ohio Creek Walking and Bottles pts 1-4.
The sun is shining Happy Swinging 😊
In Ohio, the sun is out one minute, then it could rain or snow the next. LOL Thanks for visiting and watching, I appreciate it.
My two favorite things .Metal Detecting and Fishing. You covered them both.
The area I was at does have great fishing. Probably still hiding some treasures too. Thanks for watching!
