I got Dior homme Parfum during a trip recently in Morocco, 100ml, I asked the lady at the Dior corner about it being discontinued and she said “No, we are still getting stock without any issues” ! Amazing fragrance for winter times
I think what's so great about the AdG Profumo is how well it's blended. Soooo premium, especially for designer. One of the best alpha designer frags of all time
Profumo is now discontinued, but I managed to buy the very last bottle in my local perfumery about a week ago. It is beautifully crafted and blended for sure.
I agree that Dior Homme Intense deserves to be #1. You’re the only one who has correctly pointed out that the Iris note here doesn’t have that lipsticky smell. How Dior achieved this feat is a testament to their expertise. It is a masterpiece.

I am very surprised that Bohemian Lime was not on this top 10. I took your advice a few months ago and bought the fragrance. It is summer in a bottle! I cannot wait for summer weather to wear it. For now, I will just pray it around the house and dream of warmer days! 😂
Dior Homme Parfum is not discontinued. It is available at a few European stores and sells out quickly. It seems to be produced in small batches every few months. I was able to purchase in January 2023 and November 2022 with production batches of December and October 2022. If you see it, you must buy it immediately. My fragrance store sells out in less than 24 hours. Dior France is the best option if you have the ability to purchase in France. I actually prefer Dior Homme Intense as well :)
Yeah, every few months it becomes available on Dior UK site. I got one there late last year. Set up an alert on the Dior site so you get an email when it's in stock and then buy it quick. It usually sells out in a day or two.
I have several of the fragrances you listed here. I have 2 bottles of Dior Homme Parfum and it is indeed a beautiful, intoxicating and alluring fragrance. I also have Dior Homme Intense and I would place the Dior Homme Parfum at number 1 if it were my list. As for La Nuit de L'Homme. I have sampled it and Bleu Electrique together. I ended up with 3 bottles of Bleu Electrique. It is damn near an exact copy of the OG and it does last longer on my skin. I have tested this by applying 2 sprays on my arm before going to bed, and I could still smell it 8 hours later. Oh, and I am not a big fan of Dior Sauvage. I find it too harsh and brash, so I have Bleu de Chanel EDP and YSL Y EDP. If I had to add one to this list, it would be Paco Rabanne 1 Million Prive. I love the cinnamon and tobacco note in that one. I have several back-up bottles of that one, and I am not going to part with them.
I'm a fan of a lot of these - Layton, Dior Homme Intense & Parfum, La Nuit L'Homme. But my favourite of all never seems to make it onto these top 10 lists - L'Homme Ideal by Guerlain. I love the entire range, but the original Edp is my favourite.
That's a great description for BDC "polished". Of my 30ish fragrances none come across with quite the quality feel of the BDC edp and Parfum. The scent may not be everyone's cup of tea but to me Chanel is one of the few worth these designer price tags.
Dior Homme Parfum was changed from 75ml (discontinued) to 100ml, but in limited quantities. It is somewhat reformulated, now it is not that badly intense and unwearable, now you can actually wear it, but it is stronger than Dior Homme Intense, great change actually. Smell is almost 90+% the same, also lasts a lot.
I bought Dior Homme Parfum in Paris. I bought two bottles. One from Printemps shopping centre and another one from CDG airport's duty free. Both at Dior stand and this is important : you should ask the sales person for a bottle as they are not exposed ! I bought them both the same day and the one from the airport was much cheaper. so here you go Josephine ;)
Dior Homme Parfum is not discontinued in the UK, just has really limited availability. I bought some from the Dior website back in January and it sold out in less than 24 hours 🙃. Wish I'd bought more than one 😅

I remember watching one of Jeremy's videos like 2 years ago, where he talked about how 'La Nuit de l'Homme' got him interested in fragrances. One day my brother wanted to send me a fragrance as a gift and asked which one I wanted, so I choose it without knowing how it smells. It's still my favorite fragrance! Love how it smells.

Dior Homme Parfum is not discontinued, it is being sold all the time in France, and it is available on their website. I bought one directly from Dior, shipped to Romania, last year, 150 Euro. I think it's just not available for a lot of countries outside EU unfortunately (maybe even within EU ?)

I love the entire list! I think I've bought nearly all these for my husband now. I've always said ADG Profumo was superior to the original or any of the other flankers. Did you say that you do recommend the new ADG Parfum? If you do I'll give it a try. Spicebomb Extreme is one that I adore on him, but also likewise find myself wearing in winter. It's just too gorgeous. Luckily his Spicebomb Extreme is an older bottle, so no performance issues there. Lastly I also got him two Aventus clones Al Haramain L'Aventure Intense and Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Parfum. These two last 16 hours plus according to him. Whilst the real Aventus barely last a couple of hours. He also lies to layer Aventus clones with Terre D'hermes and I'm not normally into layering, but that combination is shockingly good. Smells classy and dead sexy at the same time and works anywhere from the boardroom to the bedroom. It just smells like what you'd imagine a really handsome, wealthy, and suave businessman smells of.
I've smelled nearly every fragrance on this list and agree completely. I want to emphasize that PDM Layton is a scent I don't believe I can ever get tired of. Not only do other people love it on me, I love the way I smell when I have it on. It just has me in a good mood while wearing it, it is beyond pleasant. Great video!
It's my favorite frag out of the 231 bottles I own. This one is a true Masterpiece and if there was a Hall of Fame for frags this one would definitely be in it. You're definitely not wrong, this frag is absolutely top notch on every level and I can't get enough of it. If you're ever trying to find something that smells the same but much cheaper I think you'll be blown away with Lalique's WHITE IN BLACK by how comparable they are in smell and every other thing. You can get a 125ml bottle for $60-$70 USD. I know Layton like the back of my hand and trust me this isn't a clone by any means, it's just a frag that happens to smell just like Layton...you seriously wouldn't believe it! You should definitely give it a try for that price and again Lalique is not a clone house, they're most known for Encre Noir just FYI and I can't stand that frag but White in Black is absolutely phenomenal, believe me!
@@ta9891 I have heard that the alcohol percentage went up, and people are concerned that it will hinder the performance. I have a newer reformulation (82% alcohol) but I think it still performs very well. I can't speak to the older version, but in my experience, that tiny bit of a change may seem more noticeable to the wearer than the masses, due to noseblindness. Is it my longest lasting fragrance? No. But it definitely does the job and is still worth it. But I bought it on sale also, so the worth to price ratio may vary. Still in my top 3 though!
La nuit de Le homme Electique is even stronger and longer lasting than the original! They solved the originals longevity issues with it. It’s a must in every man’s collection!!!!
I'd recommend Initio's Rehab vs. Spicebomb to make up for performance issues & also to balance out some of those sharper spices. Generally speaking, most scents that I recognize. I had a 2021 Aventus and I gave it away, I also have two Laytons (because I dropped one and the atomizer doesn't work) and I seldom wear it since I did transition to wearing more niche-smelling niche or less popular scents.
Oh geez. My spicebomb extreme 2022 bottle lasts 16 hours on my skin. My skin loves it lol. Dior Homme Parfum is pretty much everywhere in the Netherlands.
My husband is evolving in his frag.collection from 1 bottle of john varvatos, to ombre leather, spice bomb extreme ( the infrared is interesting too) oud for greatNess, jazz club, by the fireplace...I've created a monster! 😆 he's going niche on me now...
I have all the clones and real F batch Creed Aventus. It’s lovely, smells natural with citrus, ambergris, oak moss and a little bit of smoke for about 4 hours. The longest lasting clone is Armaf Supremacy Not Only Intense. 12 hrs. It’s a little sweeter but has some of the same notes. My favorite is CDNIM EDP. Smells like Aventus but it cheap and it last’s 8-10 hrs, people will notice. Aventus is so mild most people won’t even smell it unless you spray 30 sprays.
I appreciate your honesty regarding fragrances!! Your opinion on creed is spot on! Aventus was my first niche fragrance, got mine in 2020 ( 2019 batch ) i loved it. It was a pretty good batch, lasted 9/10 hours on skin for me and on clothes it would last for days ( I could smell it coming through the dirty clothes bin days later ), the new creed batches ( with a metal cap and batch code which start with F )seem to have fixed all the underlying issues aventus has, but there is still the issue with prices of those which make it not worth it unfortunately. $400 for Aventus is unfortunately not worth it😂.

Dior Homme Parfum is a niche level masterpiece masquerading as a designer fragrance. I firmly believe that if more people could get their noses on it (particularly in the USA where most of Fragrantica’s members are), it would 100% be at the top of this “Best Men’s Fragrance of All Time” list above Dior Homme Intense (which don’t get me wrong, is also gorgeous). The fact that it is Sebastian’s (The Perfume Guy) favourite fragrance of all time tells you all you need to know, considering how many scents he has smelled by this point. Truly gorgeous stuff. 🤤
It's a good scent but one dimensional. I believe people like it mainly because its powerful. DHI is in my opinion far superior and still the best of the line

I agree with Creed commentary and yes it changed the game it was brilliant but newer batches are weaker and it is sooo over done, same as Sauvage like why would anyone wants to smell like everyone else, same for BR 540. My fave perfume is Dior Homme Intense but I dont smell it often it all, I love Mochino Boy Toy, Gucci Guilty Absolute, and stuff like Lalique Encre Noir and from sweeter side Armany Stronger With You also Mugler A*man, Prada L Luna Rossa Black as a softer sweet one. Love YSL mentioned but it is gone missing on my skin after two hours.😑
I've never smelled anyone else wearing Creed when I'm out and I live in a big city. It's not like most people spend hundreds on fragrances. I think that the UA-cam channels promote the idea that everyone wears them.
I own 60+ fragrances and generally agree with fragrance consensus in the community. However, for some reason I do not enjoy ADG Profumo at all, I find it very lavender-y and old ladyish. Anyone else feel the same?
Thank you for the video. These lists are always interesting, however I would love to see a list of fragrances for those who want to stand out from the crowd. Call me an outlier, but I'd really rather not smell like all the other guys wearing Blu De Channel, Aventus, or Sauvage. Just a thought.
You absolutely have to put Prada L'homme Intense in there as well. This to me is the best of the best when it comes to a pure powdery IRIS 💣 and easily one of the best Iris frags there is along with Reflection Man from Amouage to, but hey it's all subjective right?!. This one has and will stand the test of time and if you don't know about this one then you are truly missing out on a Masterpiece and in my opinion the best frag Prada has ever produced! I think the majority of people especially men will agree with me on this particular frag, believe me!?! 🤷♂️💯💪🏼🔥
I purchase Dior Homme Parfum in the UK in November 2022. I was tracking it for several months. It sold out within hours and hasnt popped up since. Managed to snap up 3 bottles. According to my contact with Dior, its not officially discontinued.
I managed to get some back in January this year. Exquisite fragrance - even though I'm not a fan of leather fragrance - and i can still smell it 12 hours later after spraying it. Will definitely buy more than one when it becomes available again.
I'm an old guy. And a collector,since 1979. Which makes me really odd for most people,especially my old friends. But I have a great nose. Not like most men,and I'm told better than most women. So,here's my forty years plus experience and opinion. The fragrances I grew up with were much more complex.They had way more notes in them. Often times,three times more.Do the research,it'll prove my statement. Now,do you need than may different notes for a great fragrance? No. But with more notes being blended,you end up with a more unique and individual fragrance. Keep in mind,the perfume houses of my day weren't trying,and planning way ahead of time,to release a huge amount of flankers,to keep people interested. Another thing. Most perfume was comprised of essential oils and natural ingredients. And if you had a good nose,it smelled natural. Now that's the sad fact of the industry today. So much of the ingredients are aroma chemicals. And people have gotten used to smelling it! So,Bleu de Chanel? Simple,boring. Wouldn't have made it thirty years ago. That goes for most of the "blue" colognes today. I hear girls say,I like these fresh out of the shower,to me shower gel,soapy,shampoo, colognes. What is it today?!! Guys don't bath enough? Who wants to spend big money,to go out on a date,even a casual one,and smell like cheap shower gel or deodorant?! Aqua Di Gio? Not bad, though the current version is just so weak. Profumo is slightly better,but not by much.Only because of the incense note that makes it slightly darker and dense.It last longer but it also smells less complex and tad more linear. I hate Dior Sauvage. It makes me nauseous. Very very few perfumes have left me feeling like this. Lea'u Bleue De Issey pour homme (Issey Miyake) did,and it was released almost 20 years ago.Sauvage smells so synthetic. The ambroxan, in combination with the other mid notes ,just kills me after the opening. Terre de Hermes? I don't like it. It's too simple,smells like it's missing a bunch of things,to make a full cologne. To me,it's like a decent base,it's one third of a decent fragrance. Invictus? Super synthetic! And the combination of notes come together like an accident. But,lot of women liked it,right. Invictus Legend was the only flanker I bought. Why?I'm not sure. It does last long (my skin devours perfumes),and it projects well,at least for over four hours. Ok,so on a positive note (disproving I'm a complete grumpy old man) Dior Homme Intense,Parfum,and Valentino Uomo Intense,these are winners! Dior Homme Intense,though it turns to a skin scent on me in less than 3.5 hours,is a masterpiece.The opening is nosegasm! Now I have the 2012 reformulation and i here the newest one is garbage. This scent profile isn't as masculine compared to what I grew up with. Nonetheless,it's worthy of being called a master work of perfumery art. JUS DE ROSE, since I'm probably twice your age, you might want to smell these perfumes. Masterpieces on my list. First,Santos De Cartier eau de concentree" (because the original formula edt is gone),still is 90% as good as I remember the original. It's my all time favorite and I have two bottles currently,and a prior edt first reformulation half bottle. Nothing smells like it. The opening is nosegasm for me. Next,good ole Giorgio Of Beverly Hills,the original clear bottle/green juice. A sweet honey patchouli,floral woody,bomb. I have the original blend,and the newer current formula. The newer is close,slightly airier,partly because it's missing real oakmoss, and it's toned down just a bit.But not too much to ruin it. Santos De Cartier is strong,on par with Sauvage. Giorgio Beverly Hills is like YSL Kouros(original formula). It enters the room before you do,and remains for 20 minutes after you leave! Alfred Sung Homme,it's cheap, the current formulation is weak,but it still smells good. I can name a whole lot more,but these are some of my best. In womens,the original Guerlain Samsara EDP (current version red bottle is ok,the edp). Lancome Magie Noire,my all time favorite femme fatale seducing perfume. 2nd,Paloma Picasso.Next,Giorgio Beverly Hills womens original. Rochas ,both Mystere and Byzantine are top drawer,sexy classy,perfumes. These are some of my old school favorites in womens perfumes that are still available.

I agree that YSL La Nuit De L’Homme is the goat. It is absolutely superb… So so good! Sadly, the performance, at least on me, is so terrible, it’s hard to explain. Even if the performance was decent, I would purchase it, however, I have not because of the aforementioned reason. I sprayed it on many times sampling in the store, however.
I wish I could find a love with terre de Hermes I want to love it I understand what it’s trying to do but after 20 or so minutes on my skin I just want it off of me. I’ve bought and sold both the edt and parfum. What a shame. This summer will be the summer of Bulgari Tygar and profumum Roma orangea. My go to this fall and winter has been Caron pour Un homme Le soir and eight and bob Nuit de megeve. Neither are spoken about much as they aren’t going for wow factor but rather more classy / elegant. Another great one I’d love people to talk more about is Bulgari onehk. The best leather out there. IMO of course.
I have read that some find Dior Home Intense unisex. That really intrigues me. I am a little concerned about the new “packaging”. Sometimes they try to sneak a reformulation in there too 🧐

I have all of them in my collection except sourcebooks extreme and DHP. Need to get DHP! I have bleu electrique instead of original LNDL. And Bleu Parfum instead of EDP. I think the parfum blows it away! Great choices.
Got them all but over it for now have been going back to old school CK Crave (last full bottle🤧)for the daily cause it’s summer and Kouros body at night, yes Silver fluid if going out .
Dior Homme Parfum is on their French website. Supposedly it's not too hard to find in France, so I'm sure it shouldn't cost too much to get one in the UK.

I work in a clinic and in a university research center, so I deal with a lot of people and I always worry about bothering the others with a fragrance. But this one is very discreet yet noticeable, I don't know how to put it in here. I feel very clean and professional with this. Also, it's kind of a boost of confidence, at least for me. My fragrance store sells out in less than 24 hours. Dior France is the best option if you have the ability to purchase in France. I actually prefer Dior Homme Intense as well :)
Yeah, every few months it becomes available on Dior UK site. I got one there late last year. Set up an alert on the Dior site so you get an email when it's in stock and then buy it quick. It usually sells out in a day or two.
I have several of the fragrances you listed here. I have 2 bottles of Dior Homme Parfum and it is indeed a beautiful, intoxicating and alluring fragrance. I also have Dior Homme Intense and I would place the Dior Homme Parfum at number 1 if it were my list. As for La Nuit de L'Homme. I have sampled it and Bleu Electrique together. I ended up with 3 bottles of Bleu Electrique. It is damn near an exact copy of the OG and it does last longer on my skin. I have tested this by applying 2 sprays on my arm before going to bed, and I could still smell it 8 hours later. Oh, and I am not a big fan of Dior Sauvage. I find it too harsh and brash, so I have Bleu de Chanel EDP and YSL Y EDP. If I had to add one to this list, it would be Paco Rabanne 1 Million Prive. I love the cinnamon and tobacco note in that one. I have several back-up bottles of that one, and I am not going to part with them.
I'm a fan of a lot of these - Layton, Dior Homme Intense & Parfum, La Nuit L'Homme. But my favourite of all never seems to make it onto these top 10 lists - L'Homme Ideal by Guerlain. I love the entire range, but the original Edp is my favourite.
That's a great description for BDC "polished". Of my 30ish fragrances none come across with quite the quality feel of the BDC edp and Parfum. The scent may not be everyone's cup of tea but to me Chanel is one of the few worth these designer price tags.
Dior Homme Parfum was changed from 75ml (discontinued) to 100ml, but in limited quantities. It is somewhat reformulated, now it is not that badly intense and unwearable, now you can actually wear it, but it is stronger than Dior Homme Intense, great change actually. Smell is almost 90+% the same, also lasts a lot.
I would've thought Prada Luna Rossa Black should be on the list TBF.

I bought Dior Homme Parfum in Paris. I bought two bottles. One from Printemps shopping centre and another one from CDG airport's duty free. Both at Dior stand and this is important : you should ask the sales person for a bottle as they are not exposed ! I bought them both the same day and the one from the airport was much cheaper. so here you go Josephine ;)
Dior Homme Parfum is not discontinued in the UK, just has really limited availability. I bought some from the Dior website back in January and it sold out in less than 24 hours 🙃. Wish I'd bought more than one 😅

One day my brother wanted to send me a fragrance as a gift and asked which one I wanted, so I choose it without knowing how it smells. It's still my favorite fragrance! Love how it smells.

Dior Homme Parfum is not discontinued, it is being sold all the time in France, and it is available on their website. I bought one directly from Dior, shipped to Romania, last year, 150 Euro. I think it's just not available for a lot of countries outside EU unfortunately (maybe even within EU ?)

I love the entire list! I think I've bought nearly all these for my husband now. I've always said ADG Profumo was superior to the original or any of the other flankers. Did you say that you do recommend the new ADG Parfum? If you do I'll give it a try.
Spicebomb Extreme is one that I adore on him, but also likewise find myself wearing in winter. It's just too gorgeous. Luckily his Spicebomb Extreme is an older bottle, so no performance issues there.
Lastly I also got him two Aventus clones Al Haramain L'Aventure Intense and Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Parfum. These two last 16 hours plus according to him. Whilst the real Aventus barely last a couple of hours. He also lies to layer Aventus clones with Terre D'hermes and I'm not normally into layering, but that combination is shockingly good. Smells classy and dead sexy at the same time and works anywhere from the boardroom to the bedroom. It just smells like what you'd imagine a really handsome, wealthy, and suave businessman smells of.

I've smelled nearly every fragrance on this list and agree completely. I want to emphasize that PDM Layton is a scent I don't believe I can ever get tired of. Not only do other people love it on me, I love the way I smell when I have it on. It just has me in a good mood while wearing it, it is beyond pleasant. Great video!
It's my favorite frag out of the 231 bottles I own. This one is a true Masterpiece and if there was a Hall of Fame for frags this one would definitely be in it. You're definitely not wrong, this frag is absolutely top notch on every level and I can't get enough of it. If you're ever trying to find something that smells the same but much cheaper I think you'll be blown away with Lalique's WHITE IN BLACK by how comparable they are in smell and every other thing. You can get a 125ml bottle for $60-$70 USD. I know Layton like the back of my hand and trust me this isn't a clone by any means, it's just a frag that happens to smell just like Layton...you seriously wouldn't believe it! You should definitely give it a try for that price and again Lalique is not a clone house, they're most known for Encre Noir just FYI and I can't stand that frag but White in Black is absolutely phenomenal, believe me!

@@ta9891 I have heard that the alcohol percentage went up, and people are concerned that it will hinder the performance. I have a newer reformulation (82% alcohol) but I think it still performs very well. I can't speak to the older version, but in my experience, that tiny bit of a change may seem more noticeable to the wearer than the masses, due to noseblindness. Is it my longest lasting fragrance? No. But it definitely does the job and is still worth it. But I bought it on sale also, so the worth to price ratio may vary. Still in my top 3 though!
La nuit de Le homme Electique is even stronger and longer lasting than the original! They solved the originals longevity issues with it. It’s a must in every man’s collection!!!!

I'd recommend Initio's Rehab vs. Spicebomb to make up for performance issues & also to balance out some of those sharper spices. Generally speaking, most scents that I recognize. I had a 2021 Aventus and I gave it away, I also have two Laytons (because I dropped one and the atomizer doesn't work) and I seldom wear it since I did transition to wearing more niche-smelling niche or less popular scents.
I like profondo even more than Profumo but like them both.

My husband is evolving in his frag.collection from 1 bottle of john varvatos, to ombre leather, spice bomb extreme ( the infrared is interesting too) oud for greatNess, jazz club, by the fireplace...I've created a monster! 😆 he's going niche on me now...
I love Terre D’Hermes. It is challenging enough that I feel truly unique wearing it, but it is at the same time so versatile.
I have all the clones and real F batch Creed Aventus. It’s lovely, smells natural with citrus, ambergris, oak moss and a little bit of smoke for about 4 hours. The longest lasting clone is Armaf Supremacy Not Only Intense. 12 hrs. It’s a little sweeter but has some of the same notes. My favorite is CDNIM EDP. Smells like Aventus but it cheap and it last’s 8-10 hrs, people will notice. Aventus is so mild most people won’t even smell it unless you spray 30 sprays.
I appreciate your honesty regarding fragrances!! Your opinion on creed is spot on! Aventus was my first niche fragrance, got mine in 2020 ( 2019 batch ) i loved it.
It was a pretty good batch, lasted 9/10 hours on skin for me and on clothes it would last for days ( I could smell it coming through the dirty clothes bin days later ), the new creed batches ( with a metal cap and batch code which start with F )seem to have fixed all the underlying issues aventus has, but there is still the issue with prices of those which make it not worth it unfortunately.
$400 for Aventus is unfortunately not worth it😂.
Ok, this is list of well none perfumes but....Frederic Malle geranium pour monsieur and other high class fragrances....

Dior Homme Parfum is a niche level masterpiece masquerading as a designer fragrance.
I firmly believe that if more people could get their noses on it (particularly in the USA where most of Fragrantica’s members are), it would 100% be at the top of this “Best Men’s Fragrance of All Time” list above Dior Homme Intense (which don’t get me wrong, is also gorgeous).
The fact that it is Sebastian’s (The Perfume Guy) favourite fragrance of all time tells you all you need to know, considering how many scents he has smelled by this point.

It's a good scent but one dimensional. I believe people like it mainly because its powerful. DHI is in my opinion far superior and still the best of the line
Acqua Di Gio Profumo is officially discontinued, get it while you can.
I prefer Molinard Cuir rather than Ombre Leather. Not that I don't like TF, it's great but it's just my preference..

The list is full with amazing fragrances. I agree with Creed commentary and yes it changed the game it was brilliant but newer batches are weaker and it is sooo over done, same as Sauvage like why would anyone wants to smell like everyone else, same for BR 540. My fave perfume is Dior Homme Intense but I dont smell it often it all, I love Mochino Boy Toy, Gucci Guilty Absolute, and stuff like Lalique Encre Noir and from sweeter side Armany Stronger With You also Mugler A*man, Prada L Luna Rossa Black as a softer sweet one. Love YSL mentioned but it is gone missing on my skin after two hours.😑
I've never smelled anyone else wearing Creed when I'm out and I live in a big city. It's not like most people spend hundreds on fragrances. I think that the UA-cam channels promote the idea that everyone wears them.
I own 60+ fragrances and generally agree with fragrance consensus in the community. However, for some reason I do not enjoy ADG Profumo at all, I find it very lavender-y and old ladyish. Anyone else feel the same?

You absolutely have to put Prada L'homme Intense in there as well. This to me is the best of the best when it comes to a pure powdery IRIS 💣 and easily one of the best Iris frags there is along with Reflection Man from Amouage to, but hey it's all subjective right?!. This one has and will stand the test of time and if you don't know about this one then you are truly missing out on a Masterpiece and in my opinion the best frag Prada has ever produced! I think the majority of people especially men will agree with me on this particular frag, believe me!?! 🤷♂️💯💪🏼🔥
I bought spice bomb Extreme in 2022. And yes it's not very long lasting. I get around 3 hrs for 3 sprays.

I purchase Dior Homme Parfum in the UK in November 2022. I was tracking it for several months. It sold out within hours and hasnt popped up since. Managed to snap up 3 bottles. According to my contact with Dior, its not officially discontinued.
I managed to get some back in January this year. Exquisite fragrance - even though I'm not a fan of leather fragrance - and i can still smell it 12 hours later after spraying it. Will definitely buy more than one when it becomes available again.
I'm an old guy. And a collector,since 1979. Which makes me really odd for most people,especially my old friends. But I have a great nose. Not like most men,and I'm told better than most women. So,here's my forty years plus experience and opinion.
The fragrances I grew up with were much more complex.They had way more notes in them. Often times,three times more.Do the research,it'll prove my statement. Now,do you need than may different notes for a great fragrance? No. But with more notes being blended,you end up with a more unique and individual fragrance. Keep in mind,the perfume houses of my day weren't trying,and planning way ahead of time,to release a huge amount of flankers,to keep people interested. Another thing. Most perfume was comprised of essential oils and natural ingredients. And if you had a good nose,it smelled natural. Now that's the sad fact of the industry today. So much of the ingredients are aroma chemicals. And people have gotten used to smelling it!
So,Bleu de Chanel? Simple,boring. Wouldn't have made it thirty years ago. That goes for most of the "blue" colognes today. I hear girls say,I like these fresh out of the shower,to me shower gel,soapy,shampoo, colognes. What is it today?!! Guys don't bath enough? Who wants to spend big money,to go out on a date,even a casual one,and smell like cheap shower gel or deodorant?!
Aqua Di Gio? Not bad, though the current version is just so weak. Profumo is slightly better,but not by much.Only because of the incense note that makes it slightly darker and dense.It last longer but it also smells less complex and tad more linear.
I hate Dior Sauvage. It makes me nauseous. Very very few perfumes have left me feeling like this. Lea'u Bleue De Issey pour homme (Issey Miyake) did,and it was released almost 20 years ago.Sauvage smells so synthetic. The ambroxan, in combination with the other mid notes ,just kills me after the opening. Terre de Hermes? I don't like it. It's too simple,smells like it's missing a bunch of things,to make a full cologne. To me,it's like a decent base,it's one third of a decent fragrance.
Invictus? Super synthetic! And the combination of notes come together like an accident. But,lot of women liked it,right. Invictus Legend was the only flanker I bought. Why?I'm not sure. It does last long (my skin devours perfumes),and it projects well,at least for over four hours.
Ok,so on a positive note (disproving I'm a complete grumpy old man) Dior Homme Intense,Parfum,and Valentino Uomo Intense,these are winners! Dior Homme Intense,though it turns to a skin scent on me in less than 3.5 hours,is a masterpiece.The opening is nosegasm! Now I have the 2012 reformulation and i here the newest one is garbage. This scent profile isn't as masculine compared to what I grew up with. Nonetheless,it's worthy of being called a master work of perfumery art.
JUS DE ROSE, since I'm probably twice your age, you might want to smell these perfumes. Masterpieces on my list. First,Santos De Cartier eau de concentree" (because the original formula edt is gone),still is 90% as good as I remember the original. It's my all time favorite and I have two bottles currently,and a prior edt first reformulation half bottle. Nothing smells like it. The opening is nosegasm for me. Next,good ole Giorgio Of Beverly Hills,the original clear bottle/green juice. A sweet honey patchouli,floral woody,bomb. I have the original blend,and the newer current formula. The newer is close,slightly airier,partly because it's missing real oakmoss, and it's toned down just a bit.But not too much to ruin it. Santos De Cartier is strong,on par with Sauvage. Giorgio Beverly Hills is like YSL Kouros(original formula). It enters the room before you do,and remains for 20 minutes after you leave!
Alfred Sung Homme,it's cheap, the current formulation is weak,but it still smells good.
I can name a whole lot more,but these are some of my best. In womens,the original Guerlain Samsara EDP (current version red bottle is ok,the edp). Lancome Magie Noire,my all time favorite femme fatale seducing perfume. 2nd,Paloma Picasso.Next,Giorgio Beverly Hills womens original. Rochas ,both Mystere and Byzantine are top drawer,sexy classy,perfumes.
These are some of my old school favorites in womens perfumes that are still available.

Sadly, the performance, at least on me, is so terrible, it’s hard to explain.
Even if the performance was decent, I would purchase it, however, I have not because of the aforementioned reason. I sprayed it on many times sampling in the store, however.
Dior Homme Original, Dior Homme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum are still available on the German market.
I wish I could find a love with terre de Hermes I want to love it I understand what it’s trying to do but after 20 or so minutes on my skin I just want it off of me. I’ve bought and sold both the edt and parfum. What a shame. This summer will be the summer of Bulgari Tygar and profumum Roma orangea. My go to this fall and winter has been Caron pour Un homme Le soir and eight and bob Nuit de megeve. Neither are spoken about much as they aren’t going for wow factor but rather more classy / elegant. Another great one I’d love people to talk more about is Bulgari onehk. The best leather out there. IMO of course.

I have all of them in my collection except sourcebooks extreme and DHP. Need to get DHP! I have bleu electrique instead of original LNDL. And Bleu Parfum instead of EDP. I think the parfum blows it away! Great choices.
Got them all but over it for now have been going back to old school CK Crave (last full bottle🤧)for the daily cause it’s summer and Kouros body at night, yes Silver fluid if going out .
Dior Homme Parfum is on their French website. Supposedly it's not too hard to find in France, so I'm sure it shouldn't cost too much to get one in the UK.
Hi Josephine! I'd like to thank you for recommending Prada L'Homme! It's just a great perfume. I work in a clinic and in a university research center, so I deal with a lot of people and I always worry about bothering the others with a fragrance. But this one is very discreet yet noticeable, I don't know how to put it in here. I feel very clean and professional with this. Also, it's kind of a boost of confidence, at least for me.

Rasasi Rumz 9325 is the best Aventus clone. Great longevity and so clean smelling.
