Aaron so good, he knows his chemistry, he knows his fragrances, he knows sooo much about fragrance composition. I can listen to him breakdown fragrances all day. Thank you.
Thank you for putting into words about Aaron . I smiled because none of these would be his choice. I am old but found my Shangri-La of perfume . Enjoy your journey. One day like me . Your find the one ted
This duo always amazing, fragmental provides really good quality review (cinematic video, creativity, professional in delivering message, and also good humour).. Aaron is the best perfumer in youtube (knowledge, chemical breakdown, very objective analysis). Love you guys ❤❤❤❤❤
I really like hearing that ATH is becoming interested in light versatile scents that can be worn in a Spanish climate and perhaps moving away just from the obnoxious heavy-handed screamers; seems like he's growing a bit more sophisticated in his perfumery in understanding the power and difficulty in subtlety. Also seems like he's interested in MFK who is a master of that art. Makes me really excited for his next line of releases.
@marielang9474 No idea, I'm just referring to the proximity of Spain to the UK where he lives, and that it's a common travel destination for great hot weather that he doesn't experience and wear fragrance in otherwise
Great point there near the end guys. This really appears to be a list composed by guys in their 20 -30's probably towards the beginning of a fragrance journey who have likely bought stuff based on Top 10 UA-cam vids & hype. It doesn't strike me as a list of any great depth or experience for an 'ALL TIME' list IMO
I am always so impressed with Aaron, this man knows his stuff and he describes everything perfectly where you just understand and say “yup! That’s exactly what I thought” without being able to describe it.
I love dior homme parfum….but man is it hard to wear, it’s very polarizing. It’s actually very animalistic the more you wear it and the more your nose becomes accustomed to the iris.
Most important take here was that comment about these being the top 5 of all time "for Fragrantica voters," which is already quite a demographic bias on its own. The fact is there are no universal top 5's, not even for one person: taste and preferences can and do change over time.
It’s not the most popular though? Sauvage probably outsells DHI probably, what? 50 to 1? 100 to 1? 200 to 1? 500 to 1? DHI is just a fragcomm darling. Out in the real world, your average man isn’t buying make up smelling fragrances
What about the tom fords perfums? I'd take the terre d'hermes away and add a Tom Ford fragrance; a creed or a De Marly in to the top 5. Also the dior homme should be out and just keep the dior homme intense instead!
Hi sir I am surajit from india place give me your sajesion wich 5 perfume I blind buy Givenchy gentleman reserve privee, d&g tha one ,spice bomb extreme, valayntino umo,Paco 1milion
I can't believe this is top five. These are all absolutely horrible. And agreed with Aaron, where's the classics/fougeres, many of which are much better than these.
This list just seemed to be the 3 overhyped fragrances of fragcom (Dior Homme Intense, Parfum, ADG Profumo) that are pushed by UA-camrs. I do agree with Terre d’Hermes being up there.
@@legozfordayz Yes; if I _had_ to pick one, I agree with you, TdH. AdG: I absolutely detest it; AND have met another man who said it smelled like Raid Wasp killer, which is exactly what I get from it. If I recall, it's a calone bomb; aquatics literally make me want to vomit. Will remember it for the next wasp's nest tho. Just a few sprays should do it.
@@JoinTheProgress I have Profumo and all I get is a rich, slighly sweet patchouli with a bit of saltiness and bergamot. I do understand why some people don’t like it.
I wish Fragmental did a "Which is your personal favourite of the five?" so we could see which Aaron liked the most before he saw the bottles. But, I guess, judging from his reaction it was Profumo and Bleu De Chanel EDP
Your videos with Mr. Aaron have been utterly enjoyable. I would love to see you both go fragrance shopping as a video. Both personalities out in a real world setting would be fun to watch as well as seeing what you each pick.

I obviously wouldn't say All Time as it hasn't been around as long but Homme from ATH, is a lovely Iris/Orris fragrance. Aaron has done an amazing job with Homme. Nice Creamy Iris scent.
@@PapiAndrey it did remind me a lot of Intense/parfum.. but my nose tends to ignore certain notes and amplify others after getting the “ick” a couple years back.

To my nose, Terre d'hermes EDT is by far the best frag out of that top 5. Timeless, fresh, clean, signature, all seasons, masculine, now unique as less people wear it, masterpiece! ❤️
Was the first fragrance I bought. My mom had come back from getting something at Ulta & the cashier offered her a sample of bdc edp which she gave to me. It was that good I actually wanted a bottle. I think he was talking about Tobacolor from Dior's private collection but I could be wrong. Reserve Privee is a good fragrance for sure but it doesn't perform on me at all which is a shame.
