Guilty Pleasures will never not be my favorite Try Pod Podcast. The vibes are IMMACULATE

TRAGEDY that they did not mention that renee rapp said in an interview she was playing regina as a lesbian. The casting of aaron doesnt matter because its not About Him as a person he only matters as a source of conflict between her and cady

  • @maritzai0322

Another fun fact for Kelsey. Auli'i did all her eye makeup for the movie! She said it empowered her rendition of Janice.

  • @YesJosephine

Renee’s song at the Halloween party was the highlight of the movie, followed by Avantika at the Halloween party, and the moment tina fey said I love you to principal Duvall was so sweet 💖

  • @mookayla2889

Y'all know that Renne Rapp was literally playing Regina as flirting with Cadie the whole time

i know it was like a throwaway joke at the end but @ lesbians who previously identified as bi, you did not betray/you are not a “loss” of the bi community! identities fluctuate throughout our entire lives and you are valid!

I felt like cady was totally miscast. But Regina? Immaculate. Obsessed with Renne Rap.

Worth noting that the bathroom scene at the end is NOT new and is in fact a deleted scene from the original

  • @graciea71

As a Reneé stan, I was so scared to click on this video… pleasantly surprised! Seeing her in concert… the vocals are truly angelic!

  • @solcarlosofficial

“More is better” it’s a KEY song in the musical. That shows the development of Aaron and Cady. And also Aaron was kicked out of school because of Regina in the musical. I wish they had followed that story more like in the musical.

  • @solcarlosofficial

I wish they had the 4 way phone call because that scene showed how they were all fake with each other. The movie just shows Regina being mean to them.

  • @ChappellsDaughter

I'm a simple woman. I see Reneé Rapp in the title, therefore I click.

I had the same experience as Garrick laughing at the iCarly joke in the theatre. It got the biggest laugh from me, but I didn't hear anyone else laughing.

Someone said that Milo Manheim would've been perfect as Aaron and I gotta say that's the best option I've seen - he's attractive and CAN SING like please why didn't they cast him

  • @LoveCrumb

Every time the camera focused on Zach, Nicholas Cage's disembodied eyes stared straight into my soul.

The "Reginald" line is from the stage musical and is so iconic that I have to keep reminding myself it is not in the 2004 movie.

Hopefully the movie will make more people interested in the musical. The stage show actually makes comedy of theatrical tropes; At one point Karen and Gretchen are on Cady's bed which is a set on a mechanical platform. At the end of the scene as they are sliding away, a drunk Karen pops up "IS THIS ROOM MOVING?"

The criticism of the live show being fun cuz it’s homage to the film, but then comparing it too much when it’s also a film is EXACTLY how I felt about the movie musical. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t the original! I’m with Garrick tho, now I WANT to see the stage show!

So glad y'all liked the Someone Gets Hurt number because it was definitely my favorite number. I could not remember what it looked like in the stage production originally, so I absolutely loved it! Every part of it was so well executed

  • @carolinesch.

I really liked the social Media aspect they did to make it modern but mean girls without them all being really mean was a choice
