Loving your content lately. Would love it if you did a podcast, or even a longform rant/loosely scripted commentary. If thats not something you'd do thats fine, you've probably considered it.
As a 19 year old man, I also also still love moshi monsters! I’m planning to find a buy a couple of my favourite moshis for nostalgia, I’ll always find them adorable no matter how old I get lol 💖
I was an artist on a Moshi Monsters fan revival project, so I got a glimpse of the back end. The entire game is held together by duct tape. There's bugs that never got fixed because the team was seemingly too focused on adding new products to make merchandise of. The amount of merch is absolutely insane, you can hunt down toys of characters and moshlings not even added to the game because they pretty much gave up. It's a shame too, the game had a lot of potential that never got built upon due to the sheer amount of content added to sell toysets.
I think over saturation is something that might even be worse than micro transactions (well ofc it depends on how greedy a corporation is an how oversaturated they make a game/franchise, but in my experience, oversaturation ruined more for me.) Oversaturation kills things. It makes characters feel obsolete and unimportant. They’ll be forgotten because of the sheer number of figures or playable characters or content that will be added. That’s why I love it when games announce ‘final’ updates. The game doesn’t die, not updating without players knowing if the devs will ever see it again. Instead it sends a message. That the game is complete. It doesn’t need anything more because it has everything already. Every character, mechanic, collectable, there won’t be any more. All of them are special
the saturation of moshi monster merchandise and toys was insane. I knew someone who was obsessed with Moshi Monsters, bought tons of the cheap crappy collectibles and all that. Now that the games dead and the community only sort of exists, im certain most of this merchandise is worth nothing and all in landfills nowadays. I remember that Guiness Book of World Records around then usually had sections on people who had large collections of things, and one was moshi monsters merchandise.
I used to be the BIGGEST FAN of Moshi Monsters, but out of nowhere it just disappeared from my radar. I'm glad someone is covering this topic after MORE THAN A DECADE!
It was a huge thing in the UK. The movie was hyped a lot, i remember going to Chessington and getting a free membership thingy. My friends all had the figures, i had all the DS games and i even had clothes and bedsheets and plushies, i was so obbessed it was my whole childhood
Yes! I’m UK and i remember literally every kid in my class being obsessed with it. My sisters room was mosh monster themed and she could recite the script for the movie by heart. We had all the collectible cards too! Was such a good game
there was also an event for it at alton towers for the february half term in 2012 i believe! it wasnt much with just a couple sights to spot around the park and mark it down on a sheet, at least thats what i gathered from research when i accidentally found out about it
I remember when the super moshi quest thing got added for the first time, and it was free to play, and you did all the puzzles, and it took me all day, and finally, finally, you get to the reward, the secret volcano base, and are met with “become a member to finish this quest and actually do things!” I was devastated. I actually remember crying over it.
i was insanly obsessed with moshi monsters (to the point where I made myself my on "moshi monsters wiki" bc when I was 9 I didn't know that fanwikis existed) and I've literally never knew that a movie came out
@@swampfire6600no but Club Penguin got three specials and they cancelled the fourth one that was hinted at the end. I guess that kind of cancels it out, the Club Penguin ones weren't that bad
I loved Moshi Monsters sooo much, the ice cream shop was one of my favorite things to do. I hope it comes back, I’d totally pay the annual membership 😭
ME TOO OMGGG, btw moshi monsters is back!! if you search up moshi monsters remastered or something similar you can instal it and it's the same as moshi monsters I still play it ever so often just for the icecream minigame loll
There is a fan revival project called Moshi Monsters Rewritten if anyone’s interested. You’re able to play as a paid member for free. As someone who could not/would not convince my parents to pay for the membership as a kid, it takes the mystery behind the paywall away. Blows my mind how the level of fun I imagined was much greater than the reality.
With all these monster videos coming out recently, I would appreciate a My Singing Monsters video, especially since Mammott was referenced secretly at the beginning of the video. The lore is INSANE
I need to say thank you for referencing the existence of the Moshi Monsters movie because I remember watching it off a torrenting site when I was like twelve and completely forgot after, if it wasn't documented in video form I would assume the entire movie is a fever dream I had once like no one talks about this movie like ever
IF I RECALL.... I actually despised this movie at the time because they were advertising it so annoyingly that you couldn't escape it. BUT at the same time, it was locked behind a ridiculous paywall (that or it just wasn't showing in my area, as I'm American, who knows)
I was a way too sensitive kid, and thinking about Moshlings losing their personalities and being turned into hateful glumps really upset me. Also even back then I found it extremely petty that Strangeglove vowed to annihilate Moshlings because a dog Moshling bit him once. Like cmon, dude, grow up
Oh my gosh, I was also super sensitive and I wanted to CRY at that plot development. The song also terrified me. "Strangeglove, Strangeglove, they call him Doctor Strangeglove..."
good video but the Chekhov’s Ferris Wheel Eagle is the real reason I watched to the end. the tension of waiting for you to get divebombed by an extremely specific bird was unbearable
When I played moshi monsters I never got a membership and there were literally like 2 minigames and maybe 10 moshlings you could collect. EVERYTHING was behind a paywall including the seasons. You'd play like an episode and then be told to buy the membership. I distinctly remember being obsessed with that cupcake decorating game just because there was literally nothing else to do. You couldn't even decorate your house or send gifts without a membership. Still got the moshlings theme park DS game tho 😎
I was OBSESSED with this game in elementary school. As an American though, I was so sad that most of the merch and the ENTIRE MOVIE was only really in the UK but I did collect the magazines and whatever I could get my hands on. I remember going nuts when the Zoshlings missions came out. I was a member, I knew all the songs, I was obsessed with the lore, and I loved it. I loved it so much. My house was fully leveled up, stuffed with items. I had quite a few moshings, I beat all the missions with all of the EPICs, I even made my own dance to Moptop Tweenybop and did it in my school talent show. I cannot make this stuff up. I had the DS games. I had posters in my actual room. Some people were into One Direction, I was into Zack Binspin. I still miss it.
Fun fact: Mind Candy actually made an ARG game that had players buying card packs that contained puzzles that players had to solve. The main goal was to find a cube that was important to the fictional "Perplex city." The cube was found in 2007 and the person that found it won 120,000 thousand dollars. You might have heard of Perplex City from one particular card called "Billion to One" that had a picture of a man, and the words "find me" in Japanese. If you're interested in this card I recommend watching Inside a Mind's videos on the card.
I remember collecting cards but I don’t remember it being a puzzle? Maybe they were two different things Idk. My dad used to go around to a bunch of shops and buy as many card packs as he could so when I got home from school I’d have loads to open. I was OBSESSED. Those were simpler times and I miss them lol
@@clorby22the cards were called perplex city. Theyre not moshi monster cards but assuming op is saying they share the same creator/devs. The moshi monsters IP mustve contributed to the prize lol!
moshi monsters was one of my first special interests as a kid and im not ashamed to say I remember almost everything about this game and I had SO much merch from it(the books + magazines, the ds game, the BOARD GAME, tons of figurines, I watched the movie as well (but i hated it because it was different from the game lore) and begged for membership many times) .. yeah it shoved memberships in ur face and had some weird bits to it but kid me was Entranced and for that it holds a special place in my heart (also i was one of the very few people who played as the loveheart guy)
I'm actually so disappointed that you didn't even mention the fact that there was an actual physical CD called "Moptop Tweenbop (My Hair's Too Long)" for a character called Zack Binspin who was made to be a bootleg Justin Bieber and it's a piece of merchandise that I actually owned as a child and would listen to all the time. Also shame on you for skimming over Doctor Strangeglove's song specifically because it's an earworm for no good reason.
Not to mention music Rox was a charting album??!??!! Like, made Uk charts. I listened to music rox every single day on my crappy cd player and I loved it.
I actually came across my CD for Music Rox two weeks ago and I listened to Sweet Tooth song. I could remember every lyric??? and now it's still stuck in my head from one listen... idc how much the franchise sucked, the music was GOOD.
What a blast from the past this is. I remember playing this on my lagging broken computer. My Favourite thing was go to the underground sewers to play the Lady Goo Goo Rhythm game. It’s always nice to be reminded of these small mundane things we did as kids that looking back really holds a place in our hearts
have to say i DEVOURED the moshi monsters movie as a child and the songs get stuck in my head to this day. we're in this together although it seems odd we're in this together like peas in a pod !
yeah the we can do it song was so good LMFAO whenever i am going to say we can do it, i just end up singing it cause of the song and i guess no one will ever know what im referencing since this movie vanished from the face of the earth
moshi monsters was my first big experience with talking to other people online! i eventually got bored of the same repetitive daily tasks because i didn't have a membership, and somehow found my way to the forums. there in Roary's eyemagination station, or RES, I got my first taste of text based roleplay, which started developing my writing skills, which led to me developing my art skills to draw my ocs! At that point I was NOT there for the base game, I was there for the forums. They even called me one of the Legends back in the day (a term for people who made the most successful roleplays, and a term i REALLY did not deserve). I couldn't have cared less what they were doing with the site... up until they installed a very harsh text censoring system and did a forum wipe that deleted two years of stories I'd created with my friends. At that point, I just straight up left.
moshi monsters forums did the exact same for me! i grew my love for writing from those forums, then one day logged on after a few weeks and realized everything had changed to be completely censored! my first heartbreak fr
I know this comment is a year old but I LOVED the forums too, crazy to think of the stories and imagination that came from there, it really formed my love for writing too - I vaguely remember people who used it regularly were jokingly called RESidents I think? Wish there was a way to go back and read them
GOD, that game was my whole life for a while as a kid. at one point practically every kid in my neighbourhood had the moshi monster toys and we had weekly meetings to trade with eachother so everyone could get rid of their dupes and get their favourites. tcgs like pokemon were never popular here but i will always remember being a kid and scribbling my initials on the bottom of every new moshling i got so that when it was traded around i always knew i had it first. i was so devastated when we moved cities and nobody in my new school had any EDIT: OH MAN KATSUMA UNLEASHED... my friend and i shared a copy but we were so bad at it that her older brother had to clear levels for us the whole time. a classic
I struggle to understand the slime trend, but the remembering the moshi monsters craze helps me understand the slime thing. It must of been weird for our parents. I didn't get too deep into it, for me it was all about the cards and figures also soon after the craze was over my parents sold my small collection. Moshi monsters even got banned because too many kids were making trades and then getting really upset afterwards. It's also kind of interesting that there wasn't as much of an issue with match attax cards even though there were several boys who were super into it. The football boys broke the stereotype and managed their trades better than the moshi monster section of the class. It did get banned but only a whole 3 years later (year 4 instead of year 1) when an argument culminated in someone trying to flush down another's cards down the toilet and causing a blockage.
Honestly the thing I remember the most abt Moshi Monsters was it’s guilt tripping of players. Your monster would have like happiness and well-being bars that would go down if you didn’t play for a few days and it made me feel really bad as a kid. I also remember I when we were canceling my membership there was a sad poppet on the screen saying like “You really want to cancel? 🥺😢” and I had to leave the room bc I was to upset to watch my mom cancel the subscription.
My class was obsessed with Moshi Monsters and we also got huge into the Moshi Monster cards. I got a full collection. They were banned in our class after a while lol
As an almost-19 year old sucker for nostalgia, I thank this video for reminding me of my favorite desktop adobe flash game (aside from club penguin) and will now be making a moshi monsters rewritten account for the sake of crying about nostalgia
A blast from the past! Oh my goodness! Thank you for this. I still dream about the one game where you run like a dog shop and groom puppies because I was obsessed with it and now realize it was from this game…wow. Time flies man
this was the site that started my internet addiction lmaooo i was truly obsessed BUT yes you could directly interact with other players on the forum section, which ngl was my favorite part of the whole game bc it was lit in there
Not finished with the video yet but I hope you mentioned the Arby's promotion. I was obsessed with this game because I got a card with the yeti thing in my Arby's kids meal
McDonald's also had a promotion with them. They handed out toy key chains of some of the Moshi Monsters and Moshlings. I got the Jeepers one. Apparently it came with a free 3 day Moshi Monster membership, though I was unaware of it at the time
even though moshi kids is locked behind a paywall, they have a lot of full-length content on their youtube channel. I use the meditations myself sometimes, not to mention the art made for it is absolutely gorgeous. also, moshi monsters and calm (the wellness app) share a founder, so it was natural for him to merge the two when moshi was essentially at the end of its life. I'm glad the franchise and now kids get to still experience the magic of our silly little moshlings
I remember being OBSESSED with this when I was a kid. Moshi Music (it was basically like a UA-cam but with like, 10 videos that were all music videos) was my favourite, I remember the Justin Bieber-esque one, Pooky (it was a dinosaur with an eggshell on it’s head) and the coconut one distinctly. I'm awaiting the day we get "the bizarre lore of Choopo" where you just deep dive all your own shit. Choops, there's a distinctive baboon who happens to not be in this video. What happened to him? I need answers, not questions
ngl being a member was so good. i felt so elite. i stopped playing before all the lore was added for the most part but my best friend and i would spend HOURS taking turns playing that goddamn ice cream game
I love these videos because it feels like you're developing your own lore, while info-dumping to me and I just feel like I have a friend when I watch these.
4:47 THATS WHAT IT WAS CALLED I remember at my grandpa’s old house, he had nickelodeon on cable and id mostly watch SpongeBob, but i remember seeing this show pop up once and didn’t pay it much thought, but it has lightly haunted me in the fact I hadn’t seen it since and had no idea what it was, you have saved me future minutes of my life from this small moment
my god. i used to absolutely _ADORE_ moshi monsters when i was younger. it was a massive part of my childhood. i never played the game but collected the moshling figurines and once my dad and i counted them all and i ended up having at least 300. i went feral for the moshis. i bought the albums on cd, bought the movie on dvd, bought the drinks, the gummies, went to meet the main six monsters IRL because they done this tour in london called the “moshi bus” where people dressed up as them and you could say hello to them and take pics (but they never showed up lmao), bought the plushies, stickers, named my first two guinea pigs after the moshlings stanley & snoodles, swallowed one of my figurines and i still own my moshi mug to this day. had no idea there was lore lmao that’s wild
We always traded moshis in primary school, good times getting scammed by older kids. I saw the movie in cinema when it came out and thought it was lightly entertaining. Also you never mentioned my favourite moshi game that i played loads when i was younger. I can't remember what it was called but it's like where's wally, but for moshis. I loved it. It was a mobile game.
I remember constantly making Moshi accounts as a kid because I kept forgetting my accounts hahaha I think I was bored of the game..actually I think I played it before the Big update of the villain man and today with this lovely 100k special (at least I think it is I don't know but Congrats nonetheless) I figured out there was and now I'm sad but happy
Thank you for posting this!! I was such a big fan of games back in the day, going on 23 years old now so it’s nice to see a retrospective from somebody who grew up with the games at a similar part of their life as I did. And can understand the nostalgic joy, as well as some of the more predatory practices that came at the time and be able to take the good with the bad with it not just writing it off as a kids game while also not being absolutely absorbed and in love with it.
My god, those DS games bring back memories. There were 2 of them that came with exclusive codes for exclusive moshlings and I specifically remember asking for the games just so I could get those moshlings. Cut to when I input one of the codes I accidentally SET IT FREE because it let you choose betweeen keeping it or getting rid of it and it was literally gone forever. I couldn’t input the code again, and my mum bought the game for nothing.
I legit barely remember this game, I do recall first seeing it around Grade 1-3 (rough estimate), and I began playing, my Moshi was a Diavolo that I think I named Volcano, and this game was a huge part of those years for me, I loved this game, and like you said, I grew out of it after a while, and now I have barely any memories of my experiences in this game, salute to the devs of this wonderful piece of childhood nostalgia, you will be missed Moshi Monsters.
Moshi monsters was a key part of my childhood. It was the only subscription my parents let me have and I LOVED IT. I collected moshling figures and I had over 100s and some of them were super rare. The songs had no right being that good. I had and completed all the DS games. Thinking about it it was my first ever special interest oh my god
i loved moshi monsters so much that when i was a kid (before it shut down) i was able to collect one of the story books, 2 moshi guides, the main characters figures and the main base play set, the moshi card set and lots of the small action figures. love that game so so much
i have a very distinct memory of the movie coming out when i was in the summer between year 6 and year 7 - think summer before starting middle school, for americans. i remember seeing a friend at the movies who was going to go see like. something normal probably. and i debated turning my plans around to see the movie with her and leaving my childhood behind... but no i paid real british pounds sterling to go see this movie alone instead. it was good. i still get the "we can do it" song stuck in my head sometimes
I played Moshi Monsters for a good while and was obsessed with the Moshling "Snookums" and if im remembering correctly so were a lot of other players. Moshlings caused true friendship breakups
Moshi Monster was huge in the UK I remember a lot of the kids at school would trade moshlings collectables and cards it was a big deal. I think what drew me in was all the colourful characters and overall style of the game, it was just fun overall. Also I remember watching the Moshi Monster movie on tv and yeah it was something alright, but hey it was nice to see a 2D animated movie in cinemas so I guess thats something.
@@VenomousVortexProductions yh especially with these new trends that last only a month or two with the new generation alpha these kids will never even know wht moshi monsters was
@@sfumm2987 For real, it's incredible. They'll be raised with silly memes like Skibidi Toilet, while we were raised by flash games, Club Penguin, Moshi Monsters etc etc. I wish future generations would be able to experience this.
Seeing this reminds me of BinWeevils since I didn't enjoy Moshi monsters but I did enjoy Bin Weevils. The great flash purge claimed many childhood favourites.
10:08 I remember when this came out, I had a gift card for WHSMITH (I'm from the UK) and so I decided to buy a DVD. As an 8 year-old, I vividly remember debating over whether to get the Moshi Monsters movie or Frozen. I ended up getting Frozen and I was absolutely obsessed with it so i guess I made the right choice ??
Bruh I was so obsessed with this game 💀 It was one of the few online games my mum let me use her email for, so it was pretty much all I played n will probably always have permanent nostalgia for. I played as Poppet, favourite moshlings were Pooki and Mr Snoodle, had plushies, showbags, magazines, so so many magazines- and even got a membership for my 8th birthday which I was super excited for (and then we couldn’t afford internet for a year apparently so that was a complete waste but whatever-) Andd I even dragged my nanna and brother to the cinemas to see the movie lmao. It was far from their kinda thing but they knew it was important to me so they stuck it through :) Edit: Oh my god I just remembered the millions of moshling figurines I had too- There’s definitely still some in our old toy boxes, that’d be interesting to dig out
I genuinely believe this game altered my 6-year-old brain chemistry permanently… there will never be another Moshi Monsters. I collected those moshling figurines and kept them in a shoebox, which is where my magpie hoarder tendencies probably stemmed from. I just like cute little things okay?
The movie may have not impacted most people but moshi monsters was my escape I still have the dvd and have played it more than I care to admit makes me cry in happy tears 😂

SAME the chessington event felt like a fever dream
there was also an event for it at alton towers for the february half term in 2012 i believe! it wasnt much with just a couple sights to spot around the park and mark it down on a sheet, at least thats what i gathered from research when i accidentally found out about it
Correct me if I’m wrong but I thing the game originated in the UK
Yea i remember watching the movie
I remember when the super moshi quest thing got added for the first time, and it was free to play, and you did all the puzzles, and it took me all day, and finally, finally, you get to the reward, the secret volcano base, and are met with “become a member to finish this quest and actually do things!” I was devastated. I actually remember crying over it.
Omg you unlocked a traumatic memory for me
i genuinely got so angry, it's probably the reason i quit playing lol
YES !! omg i had the exact same experience, i was furious LMAO
This is exactly the reason I quite playing actually
Hard to believe this franchise would get a full fledged feature length movie, shown in actual cinemas. It was glorious
i was insanly obsessed with moshi monsters (to the point where I made myself my on "moshi monsters wiki" bc when I was 9 I didn't know that fanwikis existed) and I've literally never knew that a movie came out
Yeah, I watched it and I really liked it!

I hope it comes back, I’d totally pay the annual membership 😭
they revived the game into a downloadable game for desktop… i have it
ME TOO OMGGG, btw moshi monsters is back!! if you search up moshi monsters remastered or something similar you can instal it and it's the same as moshi monsters I still play it ever so often just for the icecream minigame loll

I recommend moshi monsters online! It's like rewritten but less buggy and with no ads
I never had the membership, I just loved the ice cream game so much 😭 It's the only one that I can clearly remember LOL
He’s getting better at drawing, you can tell because at the end he adds four extra lines to his character!
Same with Club Penguin
unfortunately the game files for the food factory are missing tho :(

I need to say thank you for referencing the existence of the Moshi Monsters movie because I remember watching it off a torrenting site when I was like twelve and completely forgot after, if it wasn't documented in video form I would assume the entire movie is a fever dream I had once like no one talks about this movie like ever
And while browsing UA-cam I randomly stumbled upon your comment in this video and recognised you. Small world 🤯
Funnily enough, that was my relationship with Doogal for the longest time
IF I RECALL....

Like cmon, dude, grow up
Fr! Strangeglove scared me sm as a kid! I legit thought he was gonna break into my house and turn me into a glump lol
You're actually so real
To be fair a dog didn't just bite his hand
It bit it off and mangled it
Oh my gosh, I was also super sensitive and I wanted to CRY at that plot development. The song also terrified me. "Strangeglove, Strangeglove, they call him Doctor Strangeglove..."
@@bucketsdoesstuff2824 that song haunted my dreams 😭😭
good video but the Chekhov’s Ferris Wheel Eagle is the real reason I watched to the end. the tension of waiting for you to get divebombed by an extremely specific bird was unbearable
gonna be honest the whole time i was waiting for an unrelated ferris wheel pidgeon to poop on him or somethin
I forgot that they renamed him to Zack Binspin from Dustbin Beaver

Joseph Solman (an American painter) died the same day that Moshi Monsters released and I can’t help but believe it’s not a coincidence
What a blast from the past this is. I remember playing this on my lagging broken computer. My Favourite thing was go to the underground sewers to play the Lady Goo Goo Rhythm game. It’s always nice to be reminded of these small mundane things we did as kids that looking back really holds a place in our hearts

Sweet tooth’s 2 songs were the bangers Fr
I think the abrupt screaming cutting into the very jolly voice you have will always be my favorite
That and the outro song, always a bop
moshi monsters was my first big experience with talking to other people online! i eventually got bored of the same repetitive daily tasks because i didn't have a membership, and somehow found my way to the forums. there in Roary's eyemagination station, or RES, I got my first taste of text based roleplay, which started developing my writing skills, which led to me developing my art skills to draw my ocs!
At that point, I just straight up left.
moshi monsters forums did the exact same for me! i grew my love for writing from those forums, then one day logged on after a few weeks and realized everything had changed to be completely censored! my first heartbreak fr
also someone who frequented RES and now im applying to grad school for creative writing

I know this comment is a year old but I LOVED the forums too, crazy to think of the stories and imagination that came from there, it really formed my love for writing too - I vaguely remember people who used it regularly were jokingly called RESidents I think? Wish there was a way to go back and read them
I was obsessed with Moshi Monsters, I had the little figures as well
You should do a video on the lore of Poptropica. I remember being obsessed with that game as a kid
Holy macaroni, I'd forgotten about Poptropica. I would LOVE to see a video on it, it was my first real obsession as a kid
"Sibling, why is the baby grooving?"
Its Lady Googoo you *GODAMN*
*S P O N G E C A K E !*
GOD, that game was my whole life for a while as a kid. at one point practically every kid in my neighbourhood had the moshi monster toys and we had weekly meetings to trade with eachother so everyone could get rid of their dupes and get their favourites. tcgs like pokemon were never popular here but i will always remember being a kid and scribbling my initials on the bottom of every new moshling i got so that when it was traded around i always knew i had it first. i was so devastated when we moved cities and nobody in my new school had any
EDIT: OH MAN KATSUMA UNLEASHED... my friend and i shared a copy but we were so bad at it that her older brother had to clear levels for us the whole time.

Not finished with the video yet but I hope you mentioned the Arby's promotion. I was obsessed with this game because I got a card with the yeti thing in my Arby's kids meal
Sonic had a promotion with them, too! I remember having toys of the cherry looking one and the demon one!

It actually feels like only a couple years ago I was playing this game and so invested in the lore, and now I’m watching a video on it. Makes me happy

I was honestly obsessed with this game and the collectable moshlings when I was at Primary school
my god. i used to absolutely _ADORE_ moshi monsters when i was younger. it was a massive part of my childhood. i never played the game but collected the moshling figurines and once my dad and i counted them all and i ended up having at least 300. i went feral for the moshis. i bought the albums on cd, bought the movie on dvd, bought the drinks, the gummies, went to meet the main six monsters IRL because they done this tour in london called the “moshi bus” where people dressed up as them and you could say hello to them and take pics (but they never showed up lmao), bought the plushies, stickers, named my first two guinea pigs after the moshlings stanley & snoodles, swallowed one of my figurines and i still own my moshi mug to this day. had no idea there was lore lmao that’s wild
