After the og Club Penguin shut down, I think there were two semi-illegal websites where you could play Club Penguin, and membership was free. God I loved Club Penguin as a kid. It was originally my older sister’s account and when she stopped playing it I took over her account. Eventually I got older and left the game too. Then when the game closed in 2017 I was in college and didn’t have a laptop so I had to go to the computer lab where there were so many other people so I was kind of embarrassed playing Club Penguin even though nobody cared. So many great memories and I owned both DS games.
Fact: Some stock music was used in Club Penguin, and one of the stock music composers with their music used was named "Jeremy Sherman", This might be why the Island looks like a Jeremy
My dad bought me a membership because he accidentally made me miss my flight from where he lived to where my mom lived. I got excited too, so in the game, I made my house with all the coins I had and got some cool decorations. I also was really good at cardjitsu even when I first started it.

I know I’m a year late but 1:05 this was actually a good movie tbh for it being a Vietnam veteran’s post war story but club penguin-asized. It’s called penguin memories
some innacurscies puffles in CPI being the biggest one, the image you used and some concept art was released but the game shut down before the puffles were released, the sleep reminder at the end was good though
One of my favourite (and I guess craziest memories) was someone making an item adder that allowed you to add stupidly rare items to your account years and years after the fact of it being no longer assessable. I, for example, added the original beta hat from when there were beta testers, or the background of rockhopper that was given out, in person, by someone at Disneyland dressed up as him to random park visitors and could never be gotten in any other way! Sadly my original penguin got the chop for reasons I still don’t understand, deleting the account because their server needed “a clean up” of players who “hadn’t played” in a while, right…. But, as a kid someone making something like that just made me unexplainably happy. I never managed to meet Gary during Gen 1, just Gen 2, as kept missing him, though managed everybody else, but that item adder finally got me the original background way into Gen 3 or 4. I suppose, overall, Club Penguin shares such a special place in my heart as it and I share a birthday!
There is an almost 30 minute video that covers only operation blackout. This game was a really fun time that i am really happy i was able to be a part of for the time it was here
omg i remember once during the fair event, there was this player who ran into the part of the map I was in and began shouting abt following them to meet rookie. i was like kinda skeptical but I followed them anyway and omg when we walked across the map, rookie was actually there. 7 year old me went CRAZY and when I got the stamp I was just freaking out. he was crowded and surrounded by other players before leaving like 10 seconds after I saw him lol. miss club penguin, that game was fr my childhood

loved club penguin as a kid but TOONTOWN was also such an important part of my childhood! Really hope to see a video on it!
me too!!!! I still play toontown rewritten!!!
Club penguin and Toontown, after that we got discovered Roblox before it was what it is now
Since you mentioned toontown, I’d love it if you covered the game in your future videos! That one had a thriving community
Bro I was in Gen 1 of Club Penguin and had soooo much fun. I was about 10 at the time and it was like the first social media, I'd spend hours playing minigames, talking to other penguins, visiting igloos. I used to try to coordinate with friends to get on the same servers.
Never played Club Pengiun, but I did recocnize the impact and fame this game had.
This was an entertaining video on something I missed as a kid! 😁
I love all the subtle references of club penguin island being hated like at 3:09 where the 4th generation is scribbled out on the side of the screen 😂
words cannot describe how operation blackout influenced my formative years. that was my SHIT.
Yeah this game was cool, but does anyone else remember UB funkeys?
Also I love the summit stage in the background 😂
UB Funkeys was so ahead of its time, i wish it was still around! They were so fun, and i still have a few of my Funkeys somewhere
Always nice to see another Club Penguin video! And, hey, that's my image at 11:17!
Worse thing about Herbert is he's apparently always doing Gangnam Style.
🎉Yay Let the child hood memories come through.
halloween 2008 is actually one of the most iconic parties but i do appreciate this video very much
Thank you for unlocking this beautiful memory of my childhood, the best times of my life
New Club Penguin is alive and kicking! Not Disney affiliated but looks almost the same as the og.
I really liked the CYOA books. And the Plasma Gal & Shadow Guy comic was rad too.
Thank you for making this video,
I loved this game growing up, and was wondering about what happened while I was gone till its final days
It was really sad to see so much of this just gone now
rookie "a stupid idiot" - him being my favourite as a kid 😭
I feel that a vital piece of Club Penguin lore is that Gary invented the Cheese 3000, which is a piece of cheese with 3000 written on it in marker
club penguins special events back in the day were like nothing else ive ever experienced & I miss them so much lol, there was so much effort put into it it was so much fun. I remember getting the last message at the waddle on party and remember flipping the ice berg 😭
for me it was the missions. Just absolutely adored them and i still play them to this day. Best thing ever
Bro operation blackout was the greatest event in club Penguin history the reveal of the director which explained everything. Good god that event was incredible
To add salt to the wound, Club Penguin Rewritten came out which practically gave EVERYTHING the website had to offer but for free, but it was shut down due to copyright or whatever
You can still play it, there’s a version called New Club Penguin
I know I’m a year late but 1:05 this was actually a good movie tbh for it being a Vietnam veteran’s post war story but club penguin-asized.
It’s called penguin memories
some innacurscies puffles in CPI being the biggest one, the image you used and some concept art was released but the game shut down before the puffles were released, the sleep reminder at the end was good though
7:01 THE LOST HERO CAMEO ⁉
Big Fat Awesome House Party is where it’s at. I’d give up my first born to play it again
There is an almost 30 minute video that covers only operation blackout. This game was a really fun time that i am really happy i was able to be a part of for the time it was here
Just letting you know Choopo your one of my favourite youtubers and your videos make me really happy :>!!! Waking up to your videos is a highlight!
I still remember jailbreaking my iPad to get whatever item on the Club Penguin iPad app :)))) so much fun
and silly penguin shenanigans still live on, y'all need to get on new club penguin, like now!
omg i remember once during the fair event, there was this player who ran into the part of the map I was in and began shouting abt following them to meet rookie. i was like kinda skeptical but I followed them anyway and omg when we walked across the map, rookie was actually there. 7 year old me went CRAZY and when I got the stamp I was just freaking out. he was crowded and surrounded by other players before leaving like 10 seconds after I saw him lol. miss club penguin, that game was fr my childhood
Gotta mention, Disney likes making their old creations lost media, like Nightmare Ned and so on
I just hate how Disney is just doing everything for the money, I played Club Penguin...a few times and I was really young to the point of knowing the fire thingy event with card-jitsu in 2008...the same time I think I played Toontown..
This is a lovely video :3
I spent countless hours on this game as a kid i was obsessed those were some good times. I loved any virtual world/mmo games as a kid and there were no shortages of them back then. I still have some of the books and trading cards and the first DS game they’re pretty cool
I love that you put the Brawl Ice Climber stage in the background
The smash stage in the background and the what I think it is the ships from link wind wake are nice details
I love how you making a animation of you talkin and the backgrounders just a penguin just getting closer
Babe a new choopo video is up
