Rabbids LoreMaster here. Two interesting bits of trivia you missed: -In Rabbids Invasion, John is voiced by David Gasman, who has been the voice of Rayman since 2001. He would go on to be the voice of Rabbid Mario in Sparks of Hope, as well as return as the voice of Rayman in the newest DLC. -Rabbids Invasion: Mission to Mars was nominated for an Emmy
I can explain the abrupt ending of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. In the DS version of the game, it's explained that after Rayman successfully infiltrated the Rabbids, he leaked their plans to take over the world which allowed humanity to stop the Rabbids all together, that and the parking ticket. The Rabbids hear about Rayman's victory and Barranco 3, who clearly wasn't too happy about this, sends an army of Rabbids after Rayman to possibly kill or capture him, this then leads to the events of TV Party.
Damn, Rosalina is truly the Mario universe's most powerful maternal force. She adopted a legion of world-conquering chaos gremlins and somehow taught them to live peacefully on her (very small) observatory. I get she's like a cosmic deity or whatever, but christ that's a power move.
Considering that Rabbids combine the energy of children with the reckless love of discovery; I find that quite easy to believe. After a long day of running amok, what could be better than having a cosy corner to sleep in, and a mother figure to read you a bedtime story?
Fun fact, both Rabbids and Rayman are the only major Ubisoft franchises to NOT be part of the Ubisoft universe. In case you don’t know, Ubisoft created their own Half-Life/Portal style universe that consists of Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and the Tom Clancy games. The universe’s timeline starts with Far Cry Primal and ends with the first Far Cry game. However, I would love to see if they decided to add them to the universe’s canon, maybe Nebulous Industries can make a cameo appearance in Assassin’s Creed Mirage or Watch Dogs 4 (similar to Blume’s cameo in Black Flag or Abstergo’s cameos in Far Cry, Tom Clancy, and Watch Dogs) or maybe go a step further and reveal that the pre-Ice Age Rabbids were the ones who created the Isu from Assassin’s Creed (similar to what the Isu did with humans), that would honestly be the biggest WTF plot twist in video game history.
Nintendo would send Ninjas for implying Mario is cannon to something that they didn't approve of Everyone would mysteriously forget that Ubisoft ever existed
@@IDKisReal2401 Then why haven’t they sent ninjas to Microsoft and Rare over Conker’s Bad Fur Day (Which is set in the same universe as Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong, and Mario)
Some fun fact - There's a place called "La Maison des Lapins Crétins" in Britanny, France which is basically a Rabbids museum, made in a historical house, which is owned by Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO (the Guillemot family grew up around this place) - There's also an official Amusement Park ride (only a 3hour drive from the museum) in the Futuruoscope, a small amusement park in the west of France. During this ride, you follow multiple Rabbids using the Time washing machine across time, during which they are portrayed as having an impact on multiple major events in human history, including, but not limited to: - The first use of fire - The creation of the olympic games - The Titanic disaster - The pisa tower being inclined I have a photo of me and my mom there, a time I will remember fondly.
Hey as a rabbids fan here are some corrections: Zak and Zoe aren’t hunters, Zak is a conspiracy theorist who thought that the rabbids were taking over the world and was gathering data, one episode he snuck in. Zoe meanwhile finds them cute, in S4 they both help three rabbids get back to the sub Zoe’s the tech girl whole zak is the transporter who sorta does most of the work(?) they’re also boyfriend and girlfriend, who were childhood friends and if it weren’t for the rabbids Zak wouldn’t have confessed his feelings The time traveling washing machine was destroyed in the season 3 episode Odd Rabbid Out when Lapin tried to get his machine back, he ends up building a time traveling TV John is only seen working in Nebulous Industries in MTM, Gina however isn’t at all, and it’s never stated if they were working for them prior to the movie It’s never implied Lapin invented the shit from the prior games Also season 4’s finale wasn’t canon, due to Lapin’s appearance in Mission To Mars since in the finale he became stupid while in the movie he was still smart but just on an island
Not just that, in mario + rabbids sparks of hope, the rabbids are more social and gain more intelligence as citizens, plus they actually know how to speak English now too.
With this in mind, I think the only way this series can end is that the Rabbids will eventually become intelligent enough that they'll go back in time and found the Utopian society of super-intelligent Rabbids Scribbles came from, turning the entire journey of their species into an eternal stable time loop. Oh crap, they'll probably bring Scribbles with them, find a way to un-brain damage him that also erases his memory and start his character journey over from scratch. It's stable time loops all the way down...
The Rabbids are the Minions of the video game world way before the Minions even existed. The fact that these goofy looking rabbit creatures become likeable and has a charming personality in Mario + Rabbids hits different ever since watching Nickelodeon's _Rabbids: Invasion._
@@foreng3095I loved then since their inception, they were fun and unique and today they are greater than before, especially Edge, best bunny, best Ubisoft character and one of my favorite Nintendo characters ever, and all in just one game, where she is the best.
My theory is that, as Michel Ancel tells, rabbids are native from the Glade of Dreams, then travel to earth, and after the events of the time traveling game the prehistoric super society happens, and now that makes like two separate rabbids, the ones that still scattered in the Glade of Dreams (the aggressive ones), and the ones from the rabbids series (the not so aggressive ones).
I mean if they are from earth before the Dinosaur age, then they would be older than any known Mammal, making them perhaps the oldest Mammalians which would baffle scientists. I think they came from the Glade of Dreams and a group of Rabbids ended up on old earth via time-travel and built a civilization there, unless we want them to be older than the earliest Snyaspids, the Mammals-forebearers.
@@carlosemilio5180 You're spreading misinformation dude, it all comes from one single shit article from a shit journal, that Ancel has disproven several times. Conflict is bound to happen in big productions especially when stuck in development hell within a shit toxic company like Ubisoft.
I unapologetically love the rabbids. Just the utter chaotic energy they bring to any occasion is wonderful to me. I may not have played many of the games or watched the TV show, but when I was I child I loved them, and as an adult I love them.
An important thing to note is that the Mario + Rabbids games are confirmed to take place in an alternate universe from the actual Nintendo published Mario games. So Mario's universe exists in the Rabbids Universe, but not the other way around. Mario is canon to Rabbids, but Rabbids aren't canon to Mario. Sparks of Hope kinda showed that the Rabbid Mario universe is pretty much entirely hecked up beyond repair now. There are entire other galaxies full of rabbids, likely due to the Sparks (since Lumas create galaxies), and it seems like Lumas just don't even exist anymore. So I think over time, the Rabbid Mario universe is gonna become absolutely infested. I think tying Rayman into Sparks of Hope is super interesting. Since there's barely anything to do with Mario in the DLC (from what we can tell so far), this could be a way to leave Mario behind and continue the Rayman & Rabbids lore. Maybe the unique characters like Rabbid Luigi and Rabbid Peach will stay in Mario's world, while all the other ones leave with Rayman and end up back in the normal Rayman and Rabbid universes. I doubt they'll be referencing this DLC in future Rabbids or Rayman games, but I think it would be cool to see.
It's also entirely possible that this alternate Mario universe was created during the opening cutscene in Cassidy's room, as far as I know there's zero evidence to disprove this interpretation.
@charziz6693 Yeah, that's what I thought for years. But apparently, this is incorrect. An online friend of mine emailed Davide Soliani a long time ago, and he eventually responded, explaining that it's not a pocket dimension. It's supposed to be the real Mario characters and the real Mario world. He did reconfirm that the game is not canon to Mario's universe though.
Rayman’s Ubiart games abandoned the Rabbids except for like one or two mobile games and from what I can tell only the first Rayman Rabbids game is canon to Rayman, the series have largely split, so there’s no Earth, so I don’t think the DLC is going to be canon to the Rayman series.
The Rabbids were just the slightly more tolerable version of the Minions before the Minions even existed. EDIT: Woah I didn't really expect to get to have thousands of likes on a comment about my silly opinion. Also I do not like The Rabbids at all go away.
Rabbids Go Home is easily the most underated Rabbids game. Ignoring the incredibly fun gameplay, the story is amazing aswell. This is the first time that the Rabbids are actually seen as a major threat to humanity and bu the end of the game, it really shows how powerful they can become. The entire game, despite being wacky and fun, also has a really gloomy dark feel over it. I mean, in some levels you cause major damage and chaos, whether it be stealing a plane engine, riding it, and demolishing everything in site with it, or invading a nuclear power plant and possibly causing a meltdown. Not to mention in some levels its implied that you kill multiple animals and people. In one of the levels you litteraly steal a dying hospital patient. I also have a feeling that the game was intended to be much darker. In scrapped concept art of the game, you can see a level depicting the Rabbids stealing a coffin from a graveyard. This was obviously cut, but its incredible how it was even thought to be in the game. Its never really expanded on more, but if the Rabbids wanted, they could easily destroy humanity and much more.
Crimes committed by rabbids: Assault, theft, burglary, breaking and entering, trespassing, possesion of an offensive weapon, (possible) tax evasion, reckless driving, driving without due care and attention, taking over the world, driving without : a licence, insurance, MOT, tax; domestic terrorism, international terrorism, various war crimes, hit and run,......
Hey, y'all, for those confused about the Kingdom Battle beginning about the Inventor Girl. Lemme explain, I was in an interview with Davide Soliani, before Sparks of Hope was released and I asked a question about her. He told me specifically that he will not to reveal anything of her background or role in the future but told me her name, "Its Kassidy Vale," he said. Therefore I contacted one of the Administrators of a Rabbids Wiki about this and that was the "Genius Girl's" name officially. And yes its KASSIDY, not Cassidy.
I feel for her. She tries to invent something cool, loses her beloved Nintendo collection, and even the developers don’t intend to make her relevant after.
Funny thing about Rayman, he has multiple backstories that conflict to varying degrees. The one about creatures connecting to his head is the least relevant/least canon as it conflicts with almost every other one larger than usual and also isn’t relevant to the plot of any Rayman games, so nothing counts on it being canon while other backstories are tied to the plots of other Rayman games (it’s a whole mess)
As someone who grew up with the Rabbids, as soon as I saw the swift change of Rabbids in Spark of Hope, I was quite surprised but it is a welcome addition. Also I didn’t know these Rabbids have lore behind them. I just assumed they are too stupid to show us a story.
what!? i thought the rabbids were some historical artifact we all grew tired of by 2011! i thought they were like the minions because by the time they got their own movie/show no one cared anymore.
5:53 when I first saw that their eyes turn red and scream as a kid, I was honestly freaked out and scared. But now knowing the meaning behind it, I think it was for a good reason.
I remember Rabbids being very popular in France. They were featured in so many merch and commercials. For me, invasion was a turn off since it had many human characters and it gave a lot more different rabbids personalities specific lore it killed the fun of it. That being said, Mario Rabbids and Kingdom battle were truly the best Nintendo switch surprise for me since it was fun both design and gameplay wise but it also brought back the silliness of the rabbids of old times. Also, I’d die for Rabbid Peach.
@@elin111 yeah but I sure didn’t expect to see them in football and rugby world cup commercials or in adult cartoons 😅. Tho now I feel like they’re more popular in America.
Thank you so much for making this goofy lore of these critters Choopo. I am also excited about the new Rayman dlc coming for Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope!! Hopefully we do get more Rayman projects!!
@@Melvinshermen That was one of the early concepts. Later on, the Rabbids would be involved with an actual plot before it was changed into a minigame collection spinoff.
I've seen a few people mentiom an all out war between rabbids and minions, and I know a youtuber named AnimationRewind who made a video about that. He made the original fight about 4 or so years ago but he made a rematch during this year if I remember correctly. Neither of them are phenomenal in animation or production, but the rematch is a significant jump in quality and is still worth watching.
I would like to point out that, while not explicitly stated, the rabbids seem to be gaining back their intelligence after entering the mushroom kingdom. When the first arrived they didn’t really even have language, with the exception of phantom but he doesn’t really count because he was specificly combined with a record player to get spoken lines. However after a few years they have cultures, family dynamics (and apparently rediscovered breeding), poetry, medicine, farming techniques, and engineering good enough to build real rocket ships. I don’t think they’re back to what they were like before the ice age, but they probably have undone over half the de-evolution they went through since the ice age. Just something I find neat.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 was what got me into these fuzzballs as a kid, but boy, Rabbids Go Home did so much more than that! I used to play Go Home over and over again, piling up tons of junk in their trolley and wreaking tons of chaos throughout tons of levels. Why did I have fun with Rabbids Go Home you ask? Because it goes to show that the Nintendo Wii is capable of creating games that far exceed shovelware, even for late 2000's standards. The Rabbids were my spirit animal in my childhood.
Of all the wacky lore that was given, the alien hair that Rayman gets was the one that floored me. Yo, you can't keep moving after tossing that bomb, the hell?!
Rayman has multiple conflicting backstories, the hair thing is only part of one of the ports of Rayman Origins (I think it might’ve been the PSP version, it was something PlayStation related). It contradicts stuff that was shown connecting to the same game with him being made by the Nymphs and that’s part of the backstory all of the rest of the versions so the hair thing is “less canon”, if that makes sense. (Rayman still has other backstories that are completely separate though, like one where he was just discovered in the Sea of Lums and is the only creature in the glade not to have come from a dream of Polokus)
So, rabbids are if humans decide to actually return to monke. But, who know what we would do if we lost all our intelligent, and I'm afraid to figure that out.
Rayman/Rabbids lore master here - The Rabbids actually originated from the Glade of Dreams (Rayman’s planet) and not Earth - The bit with Rayman and his hair is actually non-canon and just a joke - Rayman DID stop the rabbid invasion of Earth in RRR2 and a majority of Rabbids return on the Glade of Dreams, only a portion stay but were not dangerous anymore and Rayman stay on Earth a little while just to confirm that - If Rayman is afraid of the Rabbid in TV Party, it’s because on Earth, Rayman lose all of his powers and is just a random dude
They’re multiversal invaders who hop realities and occupy worlds. RRR2 was them entering a universe identical to our Earth, and eventually decided to settle down there for at least the next few games and the show. (or even invading other alternate Earths) They eventually left Earth to enter the Mario universe, and maybe after the Mario + Rabbids saga is over they might end up crossing over with another video game franchise
One of my favorite things about the Rabbis is the repeated use of the Time Washing Machine. I dunno I just think having a reoccurring piece of tech in an otherwise plot-less franchise is neat. Also seeing a Time Machine made of something as unconventional as a Washing Machine is very fun.
Ubisoft totally shafted Nintendo with Super Smash Brothers. "You can't use Rayman, at all. And even though Rabbids could have a wild and unique moveset, the type of thing you try to give every character introduced after Melee, we're only going to let you use them for costumes - but not even a full costume, just a headpiece. Just enough so you have to legally pay us whenever someone buys it, or any bundle that includes it."
I got 3 hours of sleep woke up at 6:00 am started watching this on my computer and fell asleep and woke up again at 7:00 am from my alarm. 10/10 video would watch again.
I would like to point out, there is also a Rabbids manga. I only know of 1 volume and it’s apparently only in French, but it’s called Luminy’s Quest. Rabbids show up with their time-travel washing machine and basically become RPG stereotypes.
I can't believe that between Illumation's Minion series and the crossover with the Rabbids, Mario has to deal with *TWO* species of this fucking archetype, mama mia someone get this man a drink
To be honest, seeing Beardy in the final few episodes is kinda sad. Missed when he was nicer. Then again, I suppose he would snap eventually. But just.. seeing his dumbified self is just sad. I can't describe it, but... I just felt sad. Sure, he was happy, but he wasn't even himself anymore. It's like an Alzheimer patient.
The Mission to Mars film takes place after that so Beardy was reversed back to his usual self off screen. He even had a character arc with the other Rabbids. He's learned to tolerate them and accepts the fact the glory days are behind him.
It's crazy to me how a Rayman game featuring the Rabbids for the first time (said game played by me dozens of times in childhood, it's pretty fun) spawned a whole series complete with TV show just for them, but not for Rayman himself. The Rabbids are even featured in the Mario franchise, leaving poor Rayman in the dust. I've heard Sparks of Hope is fun at least. I'll try it.
Fantastic video. I honestly was curious about the Rabbids timeline and it is wild how crazy it gets. I will note there is technically a conclusion of the Rabbids invading earth in the DS version of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, where Rayman assists the humans with information about them. Not sure if that is still canon but it is worth noting.
The Gameboy Advance game, Rayman Raving Rabbids, showed the Rabbids as genuinely kinda scary. They just pop up, quietly staring at you, more and more appearing all around you, just staring. And then one screams and they all scream and they all attack you.
Not gonna lie, I’m hella addicted to the game Mario and Rabbids: sparks of hope at the moment. Just a fun cute little game to play. I grew up with raving rabbids so this nostalgia hits me deep
I used to have Massive video game dungeon anxiety as a kid (loz oot, the basement in chibi robo, etc. Therapy years later explained a lot 😂), but I think the first Rabbids game was the first I actually played to the end. My dad, who loves videogames and tried to get me into them for years, ran out to buy me the second one to keep me going 😂 Then they were everywhere and I hated it lmao
I was obsessed with the Rabbids as a kid. But I stopped paying attention to the new installments after TV party cause the sadistic vibe that the rabbids had in the first game was fizzling out more and more. Glad I can see what I’ve been missing.
going to be honest here, i was apart of a kirby roleplay, and the character void termina kinda messes with the rabbids timeline thanks to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, they stolen the megabug and turned it into a Kirnooki (Kirby Tanooki/Super Leaf creature) to make "Meganooki" but life doesn't work for them well then they end up in deltarune... and somehow spawny's there (even though spawny is dead due to void removing the supamerge via surgery)
I honestly had no idea they had so much lore. Like all i knew was Rayman and then the Rabbids show. Tbh if i had too choose between Rabbids and Minions id choose Rabbids. They look better.
Oh yeah fun fact the rabbids was actually peaceful creature but was sadly bullied by other creatures so they decided to take over the world in the rayman raving rabbids
It's not a fun fact, that is the opposite of fun, it's tragic and Rabbids deserve justice and reperations for the damage they have been dealt to by humans and the Gladers. Punishment for these bullies. Avenge the Rabbids, justice for the bunnies! Love the Bunny and protect them! Protect the Rabbids at all cost. Love them!
In the Rabbids Go Home Guide Book there is a story section telling the previous Rayman Raving Rabbids games, basicly it's Rayman just going back to His Homeworld leaving the Rabbids on Earth.
(My old account died so it looks like I'll have to make this comment again) Thanks for this amazing video that dives into the Rabbids Lore. Now as the Rabbids expert myself I'm gonna talk about stuff not mentioned or wrong in the video. 1. Mad Rabbid and Scientist Rabbid are not the same character as the episode "Mad Rabbid and the Genius's Mustache reveals his origins. He was a regular Rabbid like the others until one day he played with a med kit and electrocuting himself and having a book hit him on the head. The bump on his head increases his intelligence. He meets up with a little girl names Alice who is a recurring human character who gives him mad scientist hair and the two would have a good friendship in the show. Mad would find his way to the Rabbids junkyard and makes multiple inventions and experiments that mostly go wrong such as cloning himself or the creation of Rabbidstein. Also Scientist Rabbid is in Rabbids Invasion just with a slightly different design. 2. Rabbids Rumble sort of has a story but it ain't important. Basically the Rabbids escape your 3DS and you gotta capture them and put them back in. The only recurring character in the game is Clark who is a Rabbid who pretends to be Superman. 3. Rabbids Land has a couple of it's own characters such as Mr. Lucky the owner of the theme park who may or may not be a serial killer hiding his murderous intent with this theme park, and The Flying Dunchbidd who is a Rabbid ghost pirate who will attack anyone foolish enough to steal his treasure. 4. While Barranco 3 may have retired in the events of Rabbids Invasion the youtube short "Artificial Stupidity" does reveal that he might be coming back to his evil ways. He and his lacky also find this advance talking car named Kikko in the short. This short also shows that Barranco 3 is capable of defending himself as he takes out multiple officers with his weapons. 5. I'm suprised Otto Torx wasn't mentioned in this video? Unlike most villains in this show like Magician Rabbid or Rabbidkhamun he was a recurring threat in season 4 as he had an army of drones, A dinosaur he keeps in his lair, multiple dangerous weapons, and multiple attempts at world domination along with making the president recognize his genius. Hell in the episode "The Rabbid From The Future" it's revealed that there's an alternate future where he actually wins and takes over the world. He also sends a robotic bunny called the Terminator Rabbid to the past to kill a blonde Rabbid who seems to have led a resistance in the future. Naturally the robot fails as the Rabbids trick it into killing it's past self erasing the bad future that Otto Torx created. 6. No mention of the Rabbids Manga Luminy's Quest, Rabbids Heroes, The VR Games, The Case File Books, The Facebook Game, Travel in Time 3D, or the cancelled Killer Rabbids game that would later become Zombiu. Also the character Pink wasn't mentioned nor the bosses from Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. 7. The Sparks of hope segment left out a lot of characters which was a bit disappointing cause the characters in those games where pretty entertaining with couple of them playing into the games story. 8. Lapinibernatus also created another time machine called the Tv Time Machine to replace the broken Washing Machine....it's not as good but I just wanted to mention it. 9. Mission To Mars takes place after season 4. We can only guess that Lapini got his smarts back off screen and moved to another island. 10. Raving Rabbids Travel In Time reveals that the Rabbids caused the Titanic....so yeah these thing have big kill count. 11. The DK DLC in Kingdom Battle takes place after world 1 12. The Rabbids are playable characters in the fighting games TMNT Smash-Up and Super Brawl 3 13. Zak and Zoe are not Rabbid hunters. Zak is a paranoid conspiracy theorist who thinks the Rabbids are gonna take over the world while Zoe thinks they are adorable creatures. The two grow a friendship with the Rabbids in season 4 since they have a side plot with them trying to help three Rabbids get back to their sub while avoiding the law. If your thinking of Rabbid hunters you should've talked about the Verminators from Rabbids Go Home. 14. While most Rabbids love the moon there is one exception to that rule. Dark Rabbid hates the moon due to the fact that he was left out of going to the moon durring another failed attempt to get there. He dawns a new alter ego and becomes a recurring antagonist antagonist with multiple plans to destroy the moon and take over the world. Fortunately he is always stopped by Agent Rabbid 000. 15. There are other wacky creatures outside of the Martians like the Bguld who are short cyclops aliens who hate the Rabbids and the Trolls who helped the Rabbids mess with Rayman during the events of the first game. 16. In the episode "The Masked Rabbid" it's revealed that the Rabbids know the concept of hanging as the Masked Rabbid along with the female are about to be hung for their crimes. 18. Frank Nebula and Mr. Lucky are the only two characters who have found a power source to destroy a Rabbid. 19. In the episode "Rabbid Test N98005-C: The Blue Rabbid" the Rabbids end up solving racism. The human race is screwed if these things are able to figure out how to solve racism but we still have problems with it. 20. In the Facebook game the Rabbids learn how to multply without cloning....I'm gonna let you pick up those pieces as to what I mean. And that's all I gotta say (Unless I start making edits to the comment)
You forgot Rayman got ending in rrr 2 ds. And for some reason i don’t Why is ds version that show Rayman do something. In Console he just suck And when i think about Rayman was og Jake skywalker. In that rabbids ruin the Rayman series and make into a joke.
The constant use of the brass band music is hilarious, thank you for teaching me that rabbids got 4 seasons of a show, a movie, and about 5 more games than I already knew about
I’m about to make all Just Dance fans appreciate rabbids. If we didn’t have rabbids, we wouldn’t have Just Dance. Just Dance is actually based on a mini game from Rayman Raving Rabbids. Not only that, but they were also the inspiration for the old Disrespectoids / Respect The Pouch campaign for Capri Sun. The disrespectoids’s transformations were based on a scene from Rabbids Go Home. If you don’t know about the campaign, look it up, it’s pretty cool and it even had it’s own cartoon that was available to watch on the website. (The website isn’t available anymore but the cartoon can still be watched on UA-cam.)
This was a really cool video! Despite being very annoying at times, I honestly have a bit of a soft spot for the Rabbids. One thought that just popped into my head while watching the video was that In the Mario and Rabbids series, it seems like the Rabbids are progressively getting smarter. I highly doubt that it's actually of any importance and mostly just due to Nintendo but it's still cool to think about. For example, in Kingdom Battle, the Rabbids, while still speaking gibberish, seem a lot less wild for lack of a better term. At least the playable Rabbids, with exception of Rabbid Yoshi are still silly, but a lot more low-key, frankly a lot more funny, and a lot less annoying. When you get to Sparks of Hope, the Rabbids have seem to have advanced even more, being able to speak full-on sentences and being drastically less crazy, even compared to Kingdom Battle, which is both a positive and a negative in my opinion. It's just something cool to think about. Also, I love Rayman so much and am glad to see him as Sparks of Hope dlc. I had so much fun with Origins on the wii and while I haven't played it, I've heard good things about Legends. The older games also look really fun and seem to have a lot of charm to them. I hope Ubisoft does more with Rayman in the future.
Actually, I think the reason they can speak in Sparks of Hope is because Beep-0 made a Rabbid translation device. (I think it's mentioned somewhere in the opening segment? I can't remember where exactly it was, but I remember reading something about it in the game. It's either in that intro area or in the menu, I think.) Can't wait for the Rayman DLC, too! I haven't played the 1st Rayman game or the newer ones, but Rayman 2 & 3 are great games! I highly recommend them. I kind of wish they would make another game like Rayman 2 where the story is a bit more serious and dark. For now, I'm just happy to see him again in 3D!
@@WWTWW Oh I see. That make sense honestly. Thanks for letting me know. I am so happy to finally see Rayman in all his 3d glory! The only game I have played is Origins but I really want to play the older games. They look like they have so much love put into them.
@@Vanamali576 They're great platforming games, though they can be very difficult in some areas. I remember playing Rayman 2 on the N64 for the first time. The mystical setting was unlike anything I had seen at the time! (And they spoke in a really cute gibberish language. I kind of hope that's how he'll talk in the DLC, but maybe they'll just have him say some simple lines in English to make it easier to understand.) Rayman 2 had a very mysterious and mystical feel to the world, so it had me intrigued right away. The story, while simple, is a bit more dark compared to other Rayman games (considering how several thousands of inhabitants were enslaved in that game). I dunno, I just feel like it had high stakes and made me feel more invested in completing Rayman's quest to save everyone. Rayman 3 is also a very fun game. It's much more silly compared to Rayman 2, and they started speaking in English in that game. (I still prefer the gibberish, but that's just my opinion.) Rayman 3 still has that mystical feel to it, and I thought the visuals improved greatly since Rayman 2, making it look prettier. Both of these games have great music, in my opinion. Anyways, enough of me gushing about Rayman games. I definitely recommend them, and I'm super excited to play the DLC!
@@WWTWW That's so cool! I really want to play them, even more so due to your glowing reviews! I am also very excited for the dlc. I hope Ubisoft makes a new Rayman game. They are such underrated gems!
Professor Barranco 2 isn't as useless in the lore as it seems. In "Rayman Raving Rabbids: Making of", it is revealed that he is responsible for the mini games in Rayman Raving Rabbids 1. He first tested them on humans.

- There's a place called "La Maison des Lapins Crétins" in Britanny, France which is basically a Rabbids museum, made in a historical house, which is owned by Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO (the Guillemot family grew up around this place)
- There's also an official Amusement Park ride (only a 3hour drive from the museum) in the Futuruoscope, a small amusement park in the west of France.
During this ride, you follow multiple Rabbids using the Time washing machine across time, during which they are portrayed as having an impact on multiple major events in human history, including, but not limited to:

Hey as a rabbids fan here are some corrections:
Zak and Zoe aren’t hunters, Zak is a conspiracy theorist who thought that the rabbids were taking over the world and was gathering data, one episode he snuck in. Zoe meanwhile finds them cute, in S4 they both help three rabbids get back to the sub
Zoe’s the tech girl whole zak is the transporter who sorta does most of the work(?) they’re also boyfriend and girlfriend, who were childhood friends and if it weren’t for the rabbids Zak wouldn’t have confessed his feelings
The time traveling washing machine was destroyed in the season 3 episode Odd Rabbid Out when Lapin tried to get his machine back, he ends up building a time traveling TV
John is only seen working in Nebulous Industries in MTM, Gina however isn’t at all, and it’s never stated if they were working for them prior to the movie

Not just that, in mario + rabbids sparks of hope, the rabbids are more social and gain more intelligence as citizens, plus they actually know how to speak English now too.
Not to discredit the English speaking (because that’s what I thought too), but I think Beep-O mentioned having designed a Rabbidese translator
Yeah they actually felt like normal NPCs for once
With this in mind, I think the only way this series can end is that the Rabbids will eventually become intelligent enough that they'll go back in time and found the Utopian society of super-intelligent Rabbids Scribbles came from, turning the entire journey of their species into an eternal stable time loop.
Oh crap, they'll probably bring Scribbles with them, find a way to un-brain damage him that also erases his memory and start his character journey over from scratch. It's stable time loops all the way down...

That sounds confusing but alright 😅
Rayman’s Ubiart games abandoned the Rabbids except for like one or two mobile games and from what I can tell only the first Rayman Rabbids game is canon to Rayman, the series have largely split, so there’s no Earth, so I don’t think the DLC is going to be canon to the Rayman series.
Dont worry If following Mario Lore normal Luma will Return IT Just Takes a few thousand years

I think Minions are more tolerable. At least Despicable Me 1 and Rise of Gru were good. I can’t get through an episode of Rabbids Invasion.

I’ve waited years for someone to make a video on this topic. I would drive my friends crazy going on about the Rabbids lore at least once a week
As a longtime fan of the Rabbids series, I gotta say this video was a blast to watch.
So, rabbids are if humans decide to actually return to monke.
But, who know what we would do if we lost all our intelligent, and I'm afraid to figure that out.
Rayman/Rabbids lore master here
- The Rabbids actually originated from the Glade of Dreams (Rayman’s planet) and not Earth
- The bit with Rayman and his hair is actually non-canon and just a joke
- Rayman DID stop the rabbid invasion of Earth in RRR2 and a majority of Rabbids return on the Glade of Dreams, only a portion stay but were not dangerous anymore and Rayman stay on Earth a little while just to confirm that
- If Rayman is afraid of the Rabbid in TV Party, it’s because on Earth, Rayman lose all of his powers and is just a random dude
But that is in ds version for rrr2. So i don’t what is Canon in Wii version
For the records with Rayman. I don’t what the real origin story is. He is Donna troy and joker level of backstory
They’re multiversal invaders who hop realities and occupy worlds. RRR2 was them entering a universe identical to our Earth, and eventually decided to settle down there for at least the next few games and the show. (or even invading other alternate Earths)
They eventually left Earth to enter the Mario universe, and maybe after the Mario + Rabbids saga is over they might end up crossing over with another video game franchise

Thanks for this amazing video that dives into the Rabbids Lore.
11. The DK DLC in Kingdom Battle takes place after world 1
12. The Rabbids are playable characters in the fighting games TMNT Smash-Up and Super Brawl 3
In Console he just suck
And when i think about Rayman was og Jake skywalker. In that rabbids ruin the Rayman series and make into a joke.
And also you forgot you own. In Queen of rabbid there one rabbid try to kill a child.
Hello
And also the rabbids help zak to basic give his feeling to Zoe
Is what actaully from tv party
Choopo has gone off the deep end and I love it
0:01 In case you guys are wondering what music is playing in the background, it's Toad's Midway Madness from Mario Party 4.
Mario and rabbids make me ACTUALLY LOVE THEM (specislly the playsble ones)
You really need to add a flipnote for Captain Lazerhawk now lmfao
Well is not Canon
I kind of hope that's how he'll talk in the DLC, but maybe they'll just have him say some simple lines in English to make it easier to understand.)
Rayman 2 had a very mysterious and mystical feel to the world, so it had me intrigued right away.
@@Vanamali576 Fingers crossed that this DLC will do well so that he can appear in more games!
Since illumination’s Mario movie can you imagine if we had a crossover of the Rabbids and the Minions
That would be chaos incarnate
Professor Barranco 2 isn't as useless in the lore as it seems. In "Rayman Raving Rabbids: Making of", it is revealed that he is responsible for the mini games in Rayman Raving Rabbids 1. He first tested them on humans.
