They should be called with extension of the arm and not leg, I think Miles think like this because he was training with Eli Schenkel before the NAC and that what Eli works on a lot.
You arent going to get anywhere with such a poor attitude. He literally gives up at 9 to 12. Miles needs to learn to grow up and focus on fencing and not complaining for every call. Its not 2013 anymore and competition is stronger than ever :/
Why is that? I think as long as they are healthy, doing well, and it doesn't interfere with life too much they will keep going. Which is at least one more cycle
@@CyrusofChaos I can't see how it can't interfere with life much at that level. Meinhardt had already considered retiring even before the Tokyo olympics. I mean it is great that they haven't, but I know the level of sacrifice.
I mean he's a very accomplished fencer. Obvious it's not the peak of his career anymore but he's been world champion and landed a redbull sponsorship at some point
Miles needs to understand that Refs are calling attacks more on foot tempo and acceleration rather than straightness of the arm.

@@kevinzhou7442 Yeah you're correct. It's definitely what's in the rules, but just not what's commonly called (at least imo)
I've been looking forward to this!
😃🍿
I thought Gerek retired! Glad he’s fencing!
Mienhardt is a damned BEAST
Thanks for sharing this.
Holy shit gerek's third touch
Did miles really say multiple times: “I don’t know what else to do ?” 😂😂😂
Something like that. At one point he says "I can't do anything!"
I came here specifically to see Chamley-Watson lose.
@Kev Lar He's never once been accountable of how he acts on and off the piste in terms of humility and respect. In short he's immature and delusional

What a baby
Spitting facts
He did get screwed over, multiple times.
I am surprised that they have decided not to retire.

Miles choose the wrong weapon he should’ve went into epee

Embarrassing etiquette by both but especially Miles. Yelling at refs and arguing constantly. It is pathetic. These are our nation's best?
I have never once heard someone complain about Gerek's etiquette...
@@CyrusofChaos I agree
