- 2005 Honda Pilot VTM-4 sensor removal. You can use a chainsaw spark plug removal tool to get in that tight area. Make sure when you put the sensor back don’t over tighten it. Once you feel the tightness it’s good. If you keep tightening it you can crack the differential.

What's wrong with the vtm-4 ? I'm genuinely asking because I bought a used honda pilot2008 , and it's sending the vtm-4 code every 5 minutes while I'm driving, and also , does can this video help in my case?
Check your battery it might be bad.
Well that was the same as the other videos
What is the name of the VTM-4 sensor
you can go on Amazon look up
Genuine Honda 48160-PGJ-003 Oil Temperature Sensor or check

Where is it located
It is located on the rear differential there is a cover, covering it so you will have to take off two screws then you’ll be able to get to the vtm-4 sensor. Once you get it removed and replaced the new sensor, when tightened leave it, if you over tighten it you can cause expensive damages to the differential.
