i have tourette’s syndrome as well and my platform is mainly about it too! almost half of my comments are “you idiot why would you fake tourette’s” and it’s just like huh? bc yes people do fake but not EVERYONE who has tourette’s is faking! in fact the majority aren’t faking however there is a small group of humans that do, take that away from the stigma though! much love 💜
It blows me away that grown people make comments like these online. Meanwhile if someone called their child an idiot at school or something they’d be marching up to the school threatening to sue the whole school system. I have never once felt the need to bully someone and consider myself lucky in that since so many other apparently can’t fight the urge or had no one decent enough growing up to teach them right from wrong. 😑 I think that what you are doing is amazing and love watching your content to be more educated about Tourette’s syndrome and just to see you because you’re very fun and lovable! So I hope that the positives can stand out more than the negative because you kick ass ❤
What really sucks is the bad comments always solicit a larger response than the many many positive ones. I've seen it time and again, leaving a comment being very complimentary gets nearly no attention but leaving a nasty comment gets a ton of attention. That's exactly why they do it. I just wish it would be the opposite.
