    I know this comment will get buried, but I just wanted to say that as someone who has Tourette’s, she does a great job explaining it. I always felt alone and as though I was broken, but she helps me realize that I am not alone. And, she explains it so perfectly too. I thought there were not many others like me, but now I’ve found my community.

    Ugh, I am living the wax and wane. One week, my tics are so so mild I think I'm doing good, maybe I don't have TS! (damn intrusive thoughts). Then all of a sudden the next week, such as this week, the tics are SO FRIGGING FREQUENT and utterly relentless.

    I would completely agree with this. I would think it would depend on the day like a stressful day and a call day at home.
    Question, do people in public look at you weird or like per say "mak fun" of you I would really like that explained if you could. I also love your channel and a hope you have a great day/night! ❤❤❤

      I can’t speak for Carly (and she might not answer), but most people with tics are okay with this as long as you aren’t calling all tics cute. Some of my tics are cute but when I’m punching myself in the face it’s definitely not cute lol. She has her tics on her merch so it’s probably alright, but if you ever meet someone in real life with tics it’s best to ask them first. Hope this helps❤

    I can tell your 100% honest about this, one thing people may not know is a tic doesn’t fully stop you from functioning when that tic occurs, it’s almost like ocd in a way coming from someone who has diagnosed with anxiety tics, it only really happens when I’m really anxious out my heart rate gets elevated, it’s almost like you have to do it or it upsets something within you, obviously this isn’t true with everyone but I’d like to state tics don’t always completely stop you from moving or speaking, to be it feels like I’m tripping over myself, and it causes me to delay a second if it’s a verbal tic which doesn’t happen often, if it’s a physical tic you can usually keep talking and even move your other body parts, but with me I’m already in a panic so my physical tics get worse when I’m having a anxiety attack or sometimes I’ll fall into a full blow mental breakdown and that’s when it gets really bad for me

      @Conner11111 Рік тому

      Hey I do have an answer for this I’ve gone into research about it. I’m not a professional but it’s what I’ve been told by people with diagnosed Tourette’s?
      Most with Tourette’s don’t tic in their sleep ans if someone does tic in their sleep it’s a sign of epilepsy and most go to a doctor for it as it’s concerning to have that happen. A fact though is that most with Tourette’s do get worse tics before sleep as the Brian and body is winding and calming down the part of the brain that causes tics can be more active.
      Hope that helps!!
