I can't imagine going into a situation and not knowing at least where we're going 😅I mean I prefer to know every detail I can, but I feel like location is the bare minimum 😂
Just a tip as a parent. Always get the early morning appointments for your son. The office is clean and smells good the staff is nice and rooms well supplied! Less risk of catching something and it’s quiet
It actually works for many things in life for example grocery deliveries! I’ve noticed that people are more alert and less stressed out so not as many mistakes are made as there would be later in the day when they run short on time or frustrated from the days events.
My mom who’s 4 kiddos has always made appointments first thing in the morning! Nice to get in and get out and still be able to do everything else needed in the day. Now single me still tries to go for the early appointments. You’re right the offices are always clean and less busy.
I am extremely aware of my anxiety and desire to plan every detail, but I think any sane person is going to ask where you are going and who is going to be there 😂
Girl, please stop taking him to that boarding place. Asher isn't flourishing there (sad, catching sickness). No offense to that place but it's like human babies too, daycare isn't always the best💛
I'm on your side, Clancy, it's nice to know who and where, if the info is available why not share? It just puts your mind at ease, allows you to prepare, mentally and otherwise, it seems a natural thing to want. Sorry about Asher, poor guy did look stressed at the doggie daycare, hope you find the perfect solution.
My husband does not like questions about details either. I am a detail oriented planner, so I crave details! We have been married 44 years & he hasn’t changed. 😂
Yeah and I think you can find a sitter on Rover who doesn't have kids or dogs. Or that you can just have come to your place. I have an anxious dog and so I'd have someone come hang out with her for 30 minutes to give her attention and to go potty. And she'd occasionally take her for walks. And they send so many pictures and it's really great communication. Just make sure to have a person who has a lot of great reviews. And I did a visit with someone to show them everything and introducing them to my dog to ensure she liked her company.
24:31 I'm going to be that person, put the phone down while driving. I don't care if someone is using it or not. Put it down especially since you two have a baby coming very soon.
I’m here every Wednesday and Saturday for Clancy’a updates. I wonder if she’ll still do them once the baby is here. If they come a little more spaced apart then I’ll understand ❤
You can have a dog sitting company come to your own home, multiple times a day to take care of him! This used to be my job, I highly recommend that option rather than doggy day care or having your dog stay with the sitter.
Love your vlogs Clancy! I use Rover and have somebody stay at my house so it’s as easy as possible for my dog. You can do meet and greets before you commit to somebody so you can get a great sense of the person to ease any nerves 😊 Asher is the sweetest!
Does this mean you can have the same person do your sits all the time or because it’s a company and whoever they send you?? Also, if you are using an agency type pet sitting service, make sure they are licensed and bonded
Oh Zac, I promise you, when it comes time, Clancy is going to bear down and do exactly what she’s made to do to get that baby out. It’s a woman’s gift from God to have what it takes to bring a baby into this world. ❤
NEVER hesitate to go to labor and delivery. They will not be annoyed at you for coming, I promise. Go if you have a decrease in movement but also if you have a significant increase in movement for the day. That can mean baby is in distress.
6:34 ugh noooo, I used to take my dog to the dog park a bunch of the dogs got kennel cough and we never went back. It’s the same with doggie day care. It’s just not safe. Not everyone cares for their dog the same way we do.
We used to board our guy and would always pay for doggie daycare, but would let them know if he wasn't feeling the other dogs in that day, to swap it for a long walk. It was great for a few years, but then service went downhill and we weren't confident he was actually getting out for his long walks, so we decided to crowdsource our pet care for vacations ever since. Usually I'll have my mom come to do the morning feedings/let outs and then a friend or other family member do evenings/walks/etc. Might be a good option to consider once your folks are there. Our guy is so much happier with the arrangement...even if he doesn't get as many walks, it's so much easier to keep him in his regular space.
I would keep looking for the right fit on Rover! I use rover both as a dog sitter myself and to find a sitter when I go away. I have tried to find a situation as similar to home as possible to make my dog as comfortable as he can be when I’m gone. I’m sure there are sitters on there without other dogs or kids!
kick counts made me super anxious as well when I was pregnant. I didn't do actually counts but tried to take note of when I felt him move. I had an anterior placenta as well. Since I work a desk job I would often notice movements in the morning after sitting for a while. If you are getting up and walking around a lot, you may not feel the movements as much because you could be rocking the baby to sleep. On weekends when I was running errands I wouldn't notice movements as much. At night I would lay in bed early to read and I called it the time to "get wiggles out" as I would feel baby and then roll over to go to sleep and not feel too many kicks at night. Every baby is different though.
Im totally on your side about the details thing. I think Zack should get you just a few details to make sure that you are comfortable as well #AtypeWife My husband knows my anxiety could never lol
I’ll also mention the benefit of having a local pet sitting service you use every so often is that you’ll have a backup should you ever need it and your parents can’t.
Don't let anyone tell you that puppy didn't help prepare you for motherhood. It's obviously different but also the same in many ways. Like you said, caring for another creature and having the needs of someone else come before yours is definitely life changing. You look beautiful in the blue Lily outfit. The black dress looks great too! Your bump is adorable. I would want details too! I don't need the full itinerary but at least let me know where we are going!
I have a child with special needs and we always take the earliest appointment of the day lol it’s just more quiet and calm and everyone’s starting the day it’s worth waking up early haha
Happy Saturday, Clancy!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. I love this staring funny pose of Asher 17:28 ! He said, "What? You forgetting something?" LOL!!😀😀😀😀😀😀
everything works for different folks so i hope this is not taken as telling you what to do. I would recommend taking a break from the daycare/boarding if you aren’t already, sounds like you definitely recognize that place isn’t great for him. When i got my pup, i tried doing all of the things “most people do” right? Turns out it was nothing but anxiety for my pup, risk of injury and/or illness, etc. Sometimes things genuinely just don’t work for your dog and that’s okay! I have a dog that big time dislikes other dogs, she will never go to a dog park, and honestly.. it’s how she is happiest. Loves being home, loves being center of attention hahahaha. We leave our dog from 4-8 hours at a time sometimes, and she is happy as a clam sleeping lounging around the house will go sit in the sun. No anxiety. I know not EVERY dog can be left out some are on the destructive side haha from separation anxiety so again, different things work for different dogs! I hope you find what little Asher likes the most + still stays safe and healthy! Having a puppy is such trial and error, you got this :)
Cracking up at your conversation with Zac in the car! I think in the moment he will look “down there” - my husband wasn’t planning on it but then said it was the most beautiful thing ever!
I watch a couple's dog, for about the last 2 + years, they love their dog so much, she is their baby... i mean, above and beyond.... i stay at their home, they have an apple air tag on her, i send them updates 3-5 times daily, they dont even have me walk her because they dont want her to get away even by accident (she is a GSP and is very, very fast so kind of breed related - and she got away from a previous sitter one time so they are very nervous about that) ...they have a large fenced yard so thats how we excercise. Ill be watching her for 10 days coming up soon while they go to europe..and after 2 years i get to take her out to a dog park for the fist time ever, we have a plan in place. you can find a dog/house sitter that fits your needs/eases your anxieties. Asher will know them, the peace of mind you will feel is priceless. For me its like a vacation, their house is crazy nice. And i love their dog like she is my own..... im basically now her aunt...i mean the dog has her own instagram page 😂 the perfect person is out there. Guarantee it.
My daughter did not move a lot in the 3rd trimester. I even went to the ER one night for it. One tip they shared to get the baby moving is putting a pot over your belly and rattling keys 😊
I’ve used the Rover app for years and have had good experiences. Seeing Asher alone in room 😢. He was nervous and excited and they should be able to redirect and manage that behavior.
Clancy you are such a cute pregnant woman!! 🤰 And you are very smart to create a home uniform it will serve you well as you become a mom too! (Some of the smartest and most productive people in the world wear the same thing everyday! Because they know that it’s one less decision to make!). A cute tee and comfy pants is perfect for around the house! A very important thing I wanted to tell you is it’s great that you want to play it by ear between a natural labor and epidural and it makes perfect sense since you’ve never experienced this before but be sure to not wait too long if you do decide you want an epidural and tell your nurse and Dr that you want to know when is the last point you can have an epidural is since it happens that women end up wanting an epidural and then they’re told it’s too late and they’re having a natural labor they didn’t want. Hope that doesn’t cause you anxiety but instead knowledge is power. You are going to be the best thoughtful mama!! And my husband is a lot like Zack and I am a lot like you! I am very passionate thoughtful and detail oriented and he is the complete opposite. Carefree and knows only what he’s told which drives me batty! But that’s what evens us out. What drives us nuts about our spouse is often times what attracted us to them in the first place! Hugs, Elizabeth
The first appointment after lunch is good too because there’s no backup. When I was pregnant there would be more than 1 8am appt., so I would make sure to be the first one off the elevator.😂
My second baby was so calm in the womb expecially at the End. He was looked at many times and me and my husband both were scared that something is wrong. Turns out, he was just super-chill😂😂😂😂 so, that is a positive alternative for u💖
Please ask labor and delivery for no mirrors if they bring them in if you don’t want you and Zac to see the down under region. I had c sections but my friend said they brought in mirrors for them. I would be horrified 😂
I would love to see Zac dress up a bit when you go to dinner to match your pretty & suitable outfit. And not giving you details where you are going is ridiculous.
You guys are hilarious with the car talk about when Clancy gives birth “down south!” 😅😂😂😂 also Zac might be asked to cut the ambilical cord. My friend was asked during his child’s birth and he said no but the nurse volun-told him 😅😮😂
If you ever feel like he’s not moving lay on your left side for a bit and see if that helps at all, no idea why, but that happened to me after not feeling her all day and there she went. Then of course always better safe than sorry > call and go in if you are concerned about it at all ❤
Have orange juice on hand. If you don't feel movements, lay on left side and drink a glass of orange juice. That usually gets them moving. I would worry with my 5th pregnancy because it was twins, and one was very active, but the other wasn't. It got hard to judge if baby B was moving, or if all movements were baby A. Every one of my children have the personality they had during pregnancy. Those who moved nonstop are my spirited kids. Those who barely moved during pregnancy are my chill kids. Their personalities start from the beginning.
Ive had great experience with Rover. Ive had someone come to my house during the day to let them out of the crate and take them for a walk for long days at work. And I've also done the pet sitting for when we are on vacation. Just pay attention to the sitters' reviews. I find it a better option then boarding. They also can come meet you and your pet before you decide, which is always nice to make your pet feel more comfy!
Here’s a tip to consider, try the hands free method of walking Asher. You loop the leash handle through your fanny pack so you have both hands available. This will help when walking baby and Asher together, you can have both hands on the stroller and not worry about an arm getting pulled😊
Your placenta placement will lessen your feeling of the kicks too. I had front placenta on one of my pregnancies and could tell a noticeable difference on kicks than the other pregnancy where my placenta was in the other placement.
A dog for sure helps !!! Love your bedroom from another vlog. I love Clark’s . As a teacher , that is all I wore to work . JCPenney has great sales. I taught school pregnant at age 34 and the 36 and I am sure I was winded . I had to teach until the due date . But God has us forget for a reason.
You are so sweet Clancy! I’m sure you have mentioned this or do this already but I have an anxious and immune system issue pup and I just thought I’d mention I give her probiotics and doggy vitamins and it helps with so much! Also she enjoys a heating pad on low and a dog anxiety blanket they are kinda heavy and help when we are gone! You might also ask your vet about Benadryl when she is super anxious it helps a lot!
That blue romper is so beautiful and you look stunning as always!!! What brand/color of lipstick and gloss did you use when you were getting ready to go to the “unknown” dinner!!!! 😂lol
I see my GP every Thursday at 12pm. I don’t know if there isn’t an appointment before me or if it’s a phone appointment but I walk into the building at 11:50 (I’m out in my car by 11:35/11:40 just like you) and I get called right in. Never waited
Ask around to see if someone knows of a good, pet sitter that can come into your home. Your vet may know. One time I got a vet tech. who works for the vet, and felt good about that bc the person was thoroughly vetted. I’d be afraid of getting someone that no one knows. Such a worry, I know. Overprotective dog mom here as well. ❤
Evolution amazes me, pigeons eggs take 3 days to be created/laid, are incubated for 3 weeks are hatched then leave the nest/become independent after 28 days, humans are so advanced, but for that we require months of incubation, years of helplessness/dependence, your body is doing incredible things.
Try not and worry about everything with your pregnancy Clancy… it all sounds perfect going by what your doctor has said… just try and relax…. You’re doing a fab job… 👌🏽
I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to stress too much about the kick counts! Speaking from experience, you’ll know if you need to worry, your mama intuition will kick in.
I would suggest finding a dedicated pet sitter who you can trust. It may take some time but it's worth it in the long run and they can be more dedicated to your dog and its health. Dog sitters can notice patterns ect and help your dog more. Dog day cares not notoriously not great. My friend manages 2 of them and she does her best but you can't always say the same about all places.
I honestly thought you'd like a "surprise" date/dinner since I thought you love surprises. 😂 Like wanting to not knowing the gender of your baby vs not like not knowing what dinner is confuses me because one is so much more intense 😂
I’m with you Clancy I like to know where I’m gonna go for a meal because I like to look the menu up online before I go. I was in labor for 22 hours with my first child and 20 with my second and trust me you don’t think you can do it, but you will buck it up and get it done. 😍😎🌞❤️🌸
I wouldn’t count kicks. Especially if you aren’t high risk. I have had four pregnancies and I never did. That would have definitely stressed me out and worried me as an anxious person myself. At a certain point you have to trust that you are doing all you can to carry this baby until birth. Everything will be ok. ❤
Hey Clancy! Drink okra water it helps your water break and reduces tearing also eating dates in the last weeks of pregnancy! I wish you the best been watching you for years! I pray you have a safe and healthy delivery😊
My Mom took an hour with me and I took 45 minutes with my son. There’s a lot that goes with genetics so it wouldn’t be unheard of for you to have a shorter labor
We traveled to London from NY and boarded Our dog for 3 weeks. Our vet called during the trip to report our dog was very anxious and might need something to relax. Needless to say we were very worried. Pets are like our kids you can’t help but be worried.
My dog had very frequent eye infections as a puppy, but as soon as he turned 1 we haven’t had an emergency vet trip since! Hopefully Asher’s immune system will be stronger as he grows 🐾
My social anxiety can’t handle not knowing the details!!!😂😂 You will be a birthing champ! Once labor begins you go into a zone of altered consciousness, not crazy😂, just your body knows what to do💪 Getting your sweet boy into your arms with healthy mom and baby is the goal💙
Oh and my husband is the SAME WAY about details. He’s gotten much better about it (married 8 years) but at the beginning of our marriage it was like a criminal offense to ask what kind of restaurant, etc. So I feel you. 😂
I think both rover and boarding have their own set of pros and cons. I’ve had good luck with local, rover-type pet and house sitting services. Some pets do way better in their own homes while others are fine in new spaces!
Dude the lack of details for any plans from Zac is actually insaneeee. We stand with you in solidarity 😂
I can't imagine going into a situation and not knowing at least where we're going 😅I mean I prefer to know every detail I can, but I feel like location is the bare minimum 😂
26:27 - it’s so important to be mentally prepared and have a support system, not pumping up and believing in your partner isn’t going to help😢😢
Just a tip as a parent. Always get the early morning appointments for your son. The office is clean and smells good the staff is nice and rooms well supplied! Less risk of catching something and it’s quiet
Great piece of advice!!! Thank you!
It actually works for many things in life for example grocery deliveries! I’ve noticed that people are more alert and less stressed out so not as many mistakes are made as there would be later in the day when they run short on time or frustrated from the days events.
This⬆️🙌
Best advice!! lol I do all my errands as soon as my babies wake up! Less busy also!
My mom who’s 4 kiddos has always made appointments first thing in the morning! Nice to get in and get out and still be able to do everything else needed in the day. Now single me still tries to go for the early appointments. You’re right the offices are always clean and less busy.

Its amazing to experience how ‘nature’ kicks in when giving birth or having a baby. I didn’t prepare much I just stayed calm and followed my body
My husband does not like questions about details either. I am a detail oriented planner, so I crave details! We have been married 44 years & he hasn’t changed. 😂
I suggest putting up a chain link fence in your backyard and a doggy door. This was the best thing we did for our dogs.
Yeah I’m on your side Clancy! I would want to know where and who will be joining us for dinner! By the way blue is your color💙! You look amazing❣️❤️🥰🤗
highly recommend rover over boarding! then he won’t get sick as often or have to worry about the other dogs
Yeah and I think you can find a sitter on Rover who doesn't have kids or dogs. Or that you can just have come to your place. I LOVE the black dress on you. There is a hack some where online for when the sleeves are a bit too long.

You guys are hilarious with the car talk about when Clancy gives birth “down south!” 😅😂😂😂 also Zac might be asked to cut the ambilical cord. My friend was asked during his child’s birth and he said no but the nurse volun-told him 😅😮😂
Please get a house sitter for your pup until your folks move there. He looked so miserable and stressed, and gets sick.
Maybe try a dog walker instead of doggy daycare when use are out for a period of time! My pup loves his 🥰 they may also offer dog sitting
Hi Clancy! Saturday morning isn't complete without a video from Clancy!!!
Aww thank you for watching!! ☺️🩷
Here’s a tip to consider, try the hands free method of walking Asher. You loop the leash handle through your fanny pack so you have both hands available. This will help when walking baby and Asher together, you can have both hands on the stroller and not worry about an arm getting pulled😊
Ready or not, your body will force you to push, you can't stop it :)
I see midwife’s and they don’t recommend kick counts unless absolutely necessary bc it gives people anxiety. It’s tough being pregnant ❤
I wouldn't be going anywhere with someone that couldn't even tell me the name of the place. Like do the bare minimum.
That blue romper is so beautiful and you look stunning as always!!!
What brand/color of lipstick and gloss did you use when you were getting ready to go to the “unknown” dinner!!!! 😂lol
Thank you!! It’s Charlotte tilbury pillow talk!
@@ClancyBurkeX thank you for letting me know! It’s really pretty!
LMAO you ended up getting a burger 😂😂
I see my GP every Thursday at 12pm. I don’t know if there isn’t an appointment before me or if it’s a phone appointment but I walk into the building at 11:50 (I’m out in my car by 11:35/11:40 just like you) and I get called right in. Never waited
My husband hates planning & details too!!
Happy Saturday! 🥰
You gotta move the pink couch back!! We need to see Asher!! 😂💕
Happy weekend! Wishing you guys well! Hope you have a successful pregnancy as well. Sending you love as always ❤
Thank you so much!!🩷🩷
I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to stress too much about the kick counts! Speaking from experience, you’ll know if you need to worry, your mama intuition will kick in.
Haha I'm with you on the plans I literally need all the detail or I get really anxious💀
My social anxiety can’t handle not knowing the details!!!😂😂
Here to say our puppy was 1000000% harder to raise than our current 6 month old baby lol.
If you haven't felt him move in a while, try to drink some juice/ orange juice, and that can sometimes help them get moving around in there. :)
Good morning, Clancy!!
Hey Clancy! Drink okra water it helps your water break and reduces tearing also eating dates in the last weeks of pregnancy! I wish you the best been watching you for years! I pray you have a safe and healthy delivery😊
I chuckled with you on the popped belly button comment 😂
I park far away from the entrance for the same reason. Helps get the extra steps in.
My son stood in the corner above his wife and still passed out with the first one, with the second he managed to stay upright.. lol..
Clancy and Zac i hope you have a great weekend
My Mom took an hour with me and I took 45 minutes with my son. There’s a lot that goes with genetics so it wouldn’t be unheard of for you to have a shorter labor
My sister survived her C-section. I met the little guy a week or two ago.
We traveled to London from NY and boarded Our dog for 3 weeks. Our vet called during the trip to report our dog was very anxious and might need something to relax. Needless to say we were very worried. Pets are like our kids you can’t help but be worried.
Blessed Saturday Mrs Clancy an zac 🙏🙏.
Great baby boy doing good.
Yes to black dres an bump
My dog had very frequent eye infections as a puppy, but as soon as he turned 1 we haven’t had an emergency vet trip since! Hopefully Asher’s immune system will be stronger as he grows 🐾
Haha I can relate.. I rescheduled my appointment last week at 9am😂
Maybe try a different boarding place?
Just so you know, the following around thing may be a puppy thing, ours used to do that and now that he's older he could care less what room I'm in.
When you said Zach and I...I thought you said Zachariah! 😂
