The soundtrack, gameplay, world building, attention to details, stunning graphics is a really top tier thing. Expected from Naughty Dog. But as in story telling, characters .... it just flops. On the 2012 game awards he played a variación of the main theme too (Tlou: Goodnight). So maybe we'll see a return of the main theme on it's original form like on the intro of the first game. This isn't the new game's main theme
Its live being played by a 60 something year old man, on a banjo not an acoustic. Of course its gonna sound worse than the original we dont have the 2nd one yet. We dont know if its gonna be like uncharted 1 to 3 with a remix of the classic theme or like 4 where the music took a complete 90. I would assume it's the former because it's the same composer and I think it was also the same composer for 1 to 3. But Gustavo is free to do whatever he wants with the music he knows what works and doesn't work for the themes in this series
i came from the future to say that i cried so much in the end of this game. it has such a beautiful message and the story will not end itself. there's still a long way to joel's and ellie's survival adventure. thank you naughty dog for such an amazing production.

I found your comment after switching to newest first lmao

What if this is intentional by the Dev omg
cinder _ , it is. He said that the Last of Us 2 will be the reverse of the 1st game.
Only thing he didn’t account for was the reverse from the community as well. lol
@@checkmate9099 yeah, its reverse alright lmao
This music is spectacular, from goosebumps, the last of us 1 and 2 will remain in videogame history. ❤
Say what you will about this game, but this man's work is an absolute pleasure to listen to
Dude tbh what kind of person in the right mind would dislike this? Gustavo is amazing!
YESSSSSSSS GUSTAVO.
I just realized they decorated it like the party from tlou2
This is the type of song that played in my head when a game or show that your emotionally attached to ends
He just sits like JOEL from the flashback scene!!!(;_;
Nostalgia, dor no peito, ansiedade.
Tudo em uma música só.
I love how hes actually in the game. I kinda just stood there and listened when I realized he made a cameo.
You may not have liked the game, but you can't deny how good the soundtrack is. That's all.
I personally love the game
I personally loved this game
True but still they killed Joel 😢
The soundtrack, gameplay, world building, attention to details, stunning graphics is a really top tier thing. Expected from Naughty Dog.
But as in story telling, characters .... it just flops. They failed to bring out what they had made in Last of Us Part 1. Well... most of the main people that made last of us part 1 is gone... so I doubt that they would able to recreate the ‘feel’ that everyone loves about the Last of Us Part 1.
no other games soundtrack has been engraved in my brain like this one
all i could hear was ellies screams for joel to get up.
JOEL .. GET UP!
JOEL..FUCKING GET UP!
And the pain in her voice, honestly this game hits home, just everything about it is beautiful. the music. The characters. The story. Just, everything is just fantastic.
Raptors confirmed, the new giraffes.
"OMG JOEL IT IS A DINOSAUR" - Ellie when she was still happy
"OMG JOEL IT IS A DINOSAUR" - Ellie when she was still happy
0:49 how the violin (i know it’s not a violin idk what it’s called it’s those big things) comes in the back is so dark that it’s awsome
Cello.
Banjo
0:04 there's that movie Joel watched about the velociraptors
i wish people would just put down their phones and enjoy the music..You know he's there, you can see him with your own eyes.
Tony El-Khoury What if they want to keep it as a memory to look back on?
what's the point of a memory if you can't see it with your own eyes ? How will you remember a memory of a feeling you never experienced? I see how people put their phones in front of their faces in shows and events, and it's just sickening to watch.. There are professionals who are hired to take videos and photos, enjoy the show.
Anyway no fuss, just wanted to explain my point
@@tonyelk1126 professionals recording the show isnt the same as recording it with your phone. If you record it with your phone it's your personal memory, not a video being shared to millions of people, because it's more personal, it's more special.
Tony El-Khoury you know you can record and look at the performance, you dont need to look through the phone, you just subconsciously hold it in one spot for memory and enjoy it in person
@@rabbih5131 exactly xD I was looking for someone to say it
Gustavo Santaolalla is argentine man... We have this LEGEND.
For any avantgarde video game or movie, whether you like it or not, the score is never the weak part.
I just finished the game. And I can tell you .. I have never ever played a game like this before, it’s so fucking dark. This game took my heart, put in on the ground and jumped 3728 times on it. It’s a literal roller coaster of emotions. It’s so worth the money, I promise.
your the type of person who thinks Brazzer storylines are interesting
Izuku Midoriya oh please stfu you’re just another person who jumps in the " I hate the last of us" bandwagon. The game is amazing, the only thing wrong is how the killed Joel. But for the rest it’s amazing.
This game is a perfect embodiment of "On the path of revenge, remember to dig two graves."
@@ka1serr1 you're the type of person to have a shitty anime profile picture
I love how Gustavo was actually in the game playing the banjo
Yes, the game overall might be outrageous and disappointing. But the little details in this are still gorgeous
Yesssss
This game is a Masterpiece
maaaaaaan this soundtrack gives me chills
It's MAAM
I don't care what people say, this game was incredible and I loved every minute of it 💙
I thought the gameplay was fun, story shit and Abby unlikable, but that's my opinion, and yours can differ
@@imtoddhowardandimadeskyrim6553 I liked the story but also did not like Abby. What happened to Joel really made me hate her!
Same
@@imtoddhowardandimadeskyrim6553 Bro I'm so glad that people like you who don't like the story can say it in a way that doesn't shit on anyone else. Thanks, man. The world needs more people like you.👌👍🏻
@@Copat87 I hated Abby at first of course but quickly grew to sympathize and actually like her as the game went on. Still rooted for Ellie the whole time though
Who is here after they finished the game
I want my money back
UrProbablyGay 135 why
@@sevn8056 because the game was horrible, I’d rather play cyberpunk on a GameCube
@@DamnedPunk135 the game was funking good. Like the best game I ever played. People just can't get overs Joel's death that's the problem
Ever'y one had his own proplems. Your'e play was great - THX for that ! Cooled me down to a good mood.
Me encanta saber que el compositor de esta belleza es un argentino y sepa tocar tan bien la guitarra y componer esta música🇦🇷👏
All this hype and they broke our hearts
I don't care if someone don't like this game but in my opinion the greatest tucking video game ever created
Gustavo teaches us how to play golf next
That word reminds me of a lost loved one
Man idk if I love this game or not it's just idk it's a disappointment
@@sj7445 They should atleast give you the option to kill her, or leave her on the post atleast
@@Metro_6969 YES man they should hire u
@@sj7445 Lol thanks but i think any person who actually cared about the story could write the ending better. This game wouldve been alot better if it let you make choices.
The guy at 0:27 shouting “FREEBIRD!”
TLOU was a big part of my teen years. Makes me tear up listening to the soundtracks
The starting is great....but as it proceeds ......I start to find the first one much better than this.....then again this pulls me back......
itslive and under pressure for a 67 year old
me too..
I never played the last of us but i know the theme and I think you are right
On the 2012 game awards he played a variación of the main theme too (Tlou: Goodnight).
Am I the only one who heard that guy in the background yell “free bird”? 0:27
Ellie would approve of that raptor background...
i came from the future to say that i cried so much in the end of this game. it has such a beautiful message and the story will not end itself. there's still a long way to joel's and ellie's survival adventure. thank you naughty dog for such an amazing production.
put the cellphones down and just feel the music, goddamn
One like is not enough for a genius like Gustavo
