After many years only now I have the chance to have a console, in basically 20 years(My last console was a Dreamcast when I was a kid) always playing in a PC gamer. This year i bought a PS5, and played the Last Of Us with dlc and playing Last Of Us 2 now. And I didn't had this feeling since the time i played Shenmue when I was kid. This is most important game of my life, I never experienced such intense and lovely history ever.
I discover The Last of Us 3 month ago by a video of a french youtube that resay all the story and it got directly into my heart and into my top 1 favorite game. Then I read fanfiction and now I am wrighting one in french that I will translate in english.
Thank you for posting this. It's crazy how heavily this game impacted people on a personal level. Even a year and a half later I am still in love with it. TLOU1 was my first ever playstation experience and it definitely set the bar pretty high for my future gaming experiences. I would honestly love to forget that I played it so I can go back and play it again with a fresh perspective.
The Last Of Us Part II is so emotional, so deep, so dark, so philosophical and so heart-wrenching masterpiece... The Last Of Us Part II is best masterpiece of eighth generation 💕❤️😭...
People doesn't understand that Tlou 2 is a game about Ellie losing her self because of Joel's death. (Almost losing her self because she left Abby to go in the end). Because she does terrible things, things even worst than Joel did to save her. Joel's Song: IF I WERE TO LOSE YOU , I WOULD SURELY LOSE MY SELF .That song is amazing cause it fits both ways. Both characters made mistakes for each other. Joel made mistakes for Ellie {The Last Of Us} Ellie made mistakes for Joel {The Last Of Us Part 2} I call this a masterpiece .
the first game was a masterpiece. no way you truly think the second game is anywhere even CLOSE to being as good as the first. we waited so long to play the game and 20 mins in the game the character we wanted to see in the game most dies. there was a lot of other ways they couldve gone about the story and killing joel. the story was very lazy and generally the writing was mediocre at best. I suggest you stop telling yourself lies to make the second game sound good to urself.
@@Gamer-zk3tz it wasn't lazy how the fuck the most well planed death in video game history was lazy. You wanted to play this character it doesn't matter what the funs wanted they made what they wanted the story to be. These characters doesn't belong to the funs they belong to naghty dog. And i actually think that the second game is truly superior than the first one in every way even .It is like the first one was the demo of the last of us and the actual story of the last of us was the second. We all said : there's no way naghty dog makes a better game than this . Killing him was the only way.(plus lets be real he deserved it ) joel never was the good guy, none of them is.I think this moment early on is one of the best moments because he never asks why . The only thing he said was " get this over with" joel new it that someday that will happen and he will be judged for his mistakes. If you wanted a blockbuster video game with joel killing everyone because ellie is mad i don't no how you are even a the last of us fun

You didnt understande neither. TLOUP 2 is a game about forgiveness and redemption.
@ yes and it failed horribly at showing a story that makes you feel these things. You can't even spell or write proper English. Stop making excuses for a trash story. TLOUP 2 doesn't exist.
@ actually thlou 2 is a game about hate , (neil druckman's words) and the first one about love .Sure ellie tried to forgive abby and joel in the process of killing hundreds of people including Abby's friends, her friends the only thing she has left after joel killing her family. i don't think is as match about redemption because neither joel or ellie find it. Joel died and ellie did all of those wrong things for revenge and every time she was doing something wrong she was losing something for that. Jessy , Dina, her fingers. She didn't get her redemption , in the end she did the right thing yes but i think that redemption for her (and mabe joel) will come in part 3
I didn't even play the game, I watched a let's play but when I finished, I fell into depression and when my mom realized it and I told her why I was in this state, she said "Hey, you know they don't exist, right?". I love these characters, their stories and this game as if I know them personally. The Last of Us is not a game, it's an experience and a life lesson, it's a lot of feelings that wash over you and make you feel alive, and when you finish the game, when you turn off the console, you feel empty, like you lost your best friend. The Last Of Us is both one of the saddest things on earth and the happiest in the world.
Just as well you never played the game, that would probably have been more than your precious emotions and feelings could have coped with, not much chance of this but just in case you do. . . . . . 'Caution' Stay away from Red Dead Redemption2.
Having a poor relationship with my father, Joel made me feel like he was my "dad", the connection I have to these characters is so strong, I have never had a game (other than RD2, on a different emotion level) have such a grasp on me. Let me tell you, the last time Ellie talked to Joel, I KNEW, I knew he was going to die. On the cusp of forgiveness between Ellie (me) and Joel. I cried my heart out at his absolutely horrific death, and that he never heard Eliie's love and forgiveness. I almost had closure of my own life, "everyone I've loved had either left me or died". I became depressed more at Joel's death and my own father. It felt as if my second "better" "dad" died. Now I find it more difficult to forgive my own father. Thank you NaughtDog for this game, the characters, the music, everything. RIP Joel Miller.
Usually people say that games is make to play and distract yourself. But for me It's not this, for me video games are something that let you get out from reality and let you travel other world. I always feel like the main character when I play a game like tlou. So you could guess that it really make me feel something. And it also make me grow up. Because tlou scenario can happen because the fungus really exist, so I learn a lot of things from it, from emotion and people. Just a masterpiece.
"... I'll be gone in a day or two" hit me hard after Dina left Ellie. Sure, Dina and Ellie broke up a year after Seattle, but it kinda made sense with Dina in the scene since Seattle was the begining of their fallout.
I went back through The last of us part 2 again and when I got to when Abby *kills Joel I cried like a baby. It feels like losing family member when he died. I miss him so much. We hope your with Sarah again
Thanks for uploading this! I heard Take on Me during my play through when the game was only a few days old, I’m sure it wasn’t half as long as this version I love it! Can’t believe Naughty Dog haven’t put the whole soundtrack on the streaming platforms
Honestly, after experiencing Ellie's hardships and romantic moments, then reaching the farm chapter, it lowkey gave me some sort of PSTD but listening and watching videos about the game helps me find peace the same way Ellie did in the end. So thanks :)
I know this is a year old but in tlou2 Ellie experienced everything besides peace. Mrs Girl lost her wife and child, the two fingers required to play the guitar and her purpose in life. I hope TLOU3 shows Ellie’s journey to retribution and self-acceptance.
@@zaviermason3380 honestly i have a feeling theyre going to have her reunite and be rejected, then find forgiveness by sacrificing herself to save dina, thus ending the cycle of violence the whole series has been about. Id be okay with that
@Kris P You just made me want a DLC where Ellie actually accepts Joel’s death whilst re-learning the guitar. I mean, that could be so symbolic; you should be on Naughty Dog’s payroll lol
Django Reinhardt lost part of his fingers during War, and with only two fingers left he became one of the greatest musicians who ever lived, Ellie could follow his steps... ua-cam.com/video/ANArGmr74u4/v-deo.html
The Last Of Us 2 is still one of my favorite games of all time right behind the first one. Both games had me in tears so fast and kept me motivated to play. Plus the music is top notch! Can’t go wrong with Pearl Jam.
“The wounds of conscience always leave a scar.” P. Syrus So how much of a conscientious act is it to go forward? Choosing to rest your conscience will only bring more unrest and destruction. It is more correct and more beneficial to try to forget and try to prevent the loss of conscience-blood rather than revenge... Unscrupulousness is one of the important factors that increase grudge and hatred. Injustice and unscrupulousness have a great role in the separation, polarization and deterioration of the ties of society. I continue with Victor Hugo. Being good is easy, what is difficult is being just. The most perfect justice is conscience... “whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster, if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.” This quote by Friedrich Nietzsche is a reminder to measure yourself and be aware of your own thoughts. In other words, you should always criticize yourself when you enter into a "questioning war" because your life and your own feelings always have plans for you. And the "narrative" of "The Last Of Us Part II" handles this with great mastery. In addition, The Last Of Us Part II's script is deep, philosophical, dark, emotional and thought-provoking. A masterpiece that has taken the industry so far and set a new bar. Again, I will continue with a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche: “When we are unpreparedly (or impromptuly) questioned about a subject, the first thought that comes to our mind is often not our own thought but merely an ordinary thought belonging to our class, position, and ancestry. Self-thoughts rarely surface.” Time, patience and thinking skills are required for high-level, powerful and philosophical “things” that are actually difficult to understand, difficult to notice. In order to find the real and the essence... The Last Of Us Part II is a masterpiece on the meaning of life, moral relativism, the philosophy of empathy, self-criticism, the definition of the concept of human, narrative art, the creation of a post-apocalyptic universe (dystopia), the meaning of respect, the meaning of thinking and the transfer of feelings. The Last Of Us Part II is the ultimate masterpiece of the eighth generation. And these concepts require “extremely hard thinking”. Let me end with a final Nietzsche quote: “The life of the enemy. Whoever lives for the sake of combating an enemy has an interest in the enemy's staying alive.” Because maybe that person or that thing is not an enemy. It is only the key that will unlock your own conscience and your own feelings... I connected quite deeply with The Last Of Us Part II. I trusted it to take me to the places it was going and I was extremely glad to have gone. I like the Ellie in first game but in the second i felt like i actually understood her and actually loved her. I felt like I actually understood Abby too and actually empathized with Abby. I am no stranger to being lost in the fog myself. We cannot talk about good and evil directly, they are related and relative concepts. Formulating that existing evil was or was not done by a God does not prevent evil from existing. Evil can be tolerated, guided by the will to live. This endurance will be through art, morality and love. Albert Camus attributes his rejection of God to the existence of evil and its abundant and violent experience by humans. According to him, the question we should ask is: Is there evil in this world? Evil, if any, is incompatible with the idea of God. In a divine order, in a world created and ruled by God, the existence of evil is inconceivable. For example, death is an evil and evil inflicts punishment on us. However, “the one who is right is the one who never kills”. This means that God cannot exist. Either we are not free, and the almighty God is responsible for evil; or we are free and responsible but God is not omnipotent. According to philosophers, evil harms the bond between people and the state of being human. In my opinion, kindness builds bridges between people, develops bonds and contributes to being human. Kindness is a joy that includes honor, not arrogance. So the fools and the dead are people who do not feel their conscience, do not understand themselves and become numb with this meaninglessness, this is not true peace, Good people are actually people who have attained peace of mind and prosperity. Their difficult but constructive and strong-willed behaviors show that they trust their own worth and justice. Because “the thing" that is better than being good is conscientious justice, and this is what real goodness and real good person are. The story is not bad and not lazy, this is nonsense and illogical. The story is absolutely incredibly deep, so artistic, so emotional, so philosophical and heart-wrenching. The Last Of Us Part II has so strongly, so creatively artistic visions, opinions and viewpoints... That’s why The Last Of Us Part II is the most unique and emotional roller coaster masterpiece...
wow...saw some of the comments that after 1 year of playing the game, they are still thinking about it. It's been only a month since I finish the game...so glad I was by myself when I finished it because I didn't want anyone to see a grown man sobbing, that image of Joel at the end, next to that image of Ellie sitting in the beach with her slouching shoulders....I just can't...I'm currently replaying the game in the plus mode to see more of the game, and to revisit that feeling. What a epic story telling this game was.

|| Okay so I never had a game make me cry till I heard Ellie song our future days and now I can’t stop listening to it. Makes me think a lot about mom and dad, this is going to be an emotional all time favorite for me probably like a comfort game. I don’t know why I feel like since I lost someone so close and a few people I was close too I feel like this game is going to hit close to home since I know what it feels to loose someone you love. I lost my mom even though I wasn’t present to watch it happen I went in her hospital room when she had passed, my best friend turned toxic and left me, and even though me and dad may not have the best finest relationship Ellie and Joel represent that nice relationship. My last texts to my mom were asking her if she could help me with a test, I had started virtual learning that year. Then I asked her if I could hang with the girls cause we were planing to hang out, she said to ask dad and I don’t remember if I ever said I love you or not. We though she was coming home the next day, plans failed I guess. Something I do regret is maybe not seeing my mom in the hospital as much considering I only went to see her once for an hour or two. I’d do anything to see her again or speak to her again or to hear her voice again or hold her close for hours. I may not spend much time with my dad, because of the woman in our house ruining our relationship and the alcohol etc it would be sad if he passed and never got close with him like I did with my mom as well. I feel emotionally attached for some reason and this game is probably going to put me through a depression episode when and after I play the second one. I may my entirely relate to same issues but I can somewhat relate losing someone you love, and poor Ellie she’s cusses like a sailor but has an imaginative / innocence and I can honestly just fall into her shoes and relate to her personally ❤️ || I haven’t played it yet but I want to so bad and the first game included I just don’t have a ps4 yet
Amo este juego encerio me levanto varias emociones que estaban dormidas dentro de mi sin duda unos de mis favoritos y joel...te estrañare un monton despues de 1 año y medio aun no puedo superar que te hallas ido :(♡
Rumor has it, there isnt gonna be anything with Ellie or any already established characters. Completely new characters, same world. I have mixed feelings about it
Such a lovely voice of Joel's and it hits in such a tender way. Love these games so much. I think I even love the second one more. Although it tore me up inside I appreciate the lesson and story telling. I've played it 3x now and have purposely not played it for a while so I can play it again with fresh eyes and heart. Trying to hold off so I forget bits and pieces.
It’s been five years since Joel died it breaks my heart 💔😭😢😔😞 I still think a lot of Joel. He was favorite, my suggestion is he was a good man. I never forget Joel.😢 RIP JM - Joel miller (1981-2020)

1. 00:00 Future Days - Troy Baker (Joel)
If I ever were to lose you
I'd surely lose myself
Everything I have found, dear
I've not found by myself
Try and sometimes you'll succeed
To make this man of me
All my stolen missing parts
I've no need for anymore
I believe
And I believe, 'cause I can see
Our future days
Days of you and me
Back when I was feeling broken
I focused on a prayer
You came deep as any ocean
Did something out there hear?
All the complexities and games
No one wins, but somehow they're still played
All the missing crooked hearts
They may die, but in us they live on
I believe
And I believe 'cause I can see
Our future days
Days of you and me
When hurricanes and cyclones raged
When winds turned dirt to dust
When floods they came or tides they raised
Ever closer became us
All the promises at sundown
I've meant them like the rest
All the demons used to come round
I'm grateful now they've left
So persistent in my ways
Hey, angel, I am here to stay
No resistance, no alarms
Please, this is just too good to be gone
I believe
And I believe, 'cause I can see
Our future days
Days of you and me
You and me
It's just... you and me.
2. 03:37 True Faith (Inspired by Lotte Kestner's Cover) - Ashley Johnson (Ellie)
I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A certain sense of liberty
I don't care 'cause I'm not there
And I don't care if I'm here tomorrow
Again and again I've taken too much
Of the things that cost you too much
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on thе morning sun
That the day would never comе
When I was a very small girl
Very small girls talked to me
Now that we've grown up together
They're afraid of what they see
That's the price that we all pay
And the value of destiny comes to nothing
I can't tell you where we're going
I guess there was just no way of knowing
I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
And my life would depend on the morning sun
That the day would never come

I feel so extraordinary
Something's got a hold on me
I get this feeling I'm in motion
A certain sense of liberty
The chances are we've gone too far
You took my time and you took my money
Now I fear you've left me standing
In a world that's so demanding
3. 07:52 Through the Valley - Ashley Johnson (Ellie)
I walk though the valley of the shadow of death
And I fear no evil because I'm blind to it at all
And my mind and my gun they comfort me
'Cause I know I'll kill my enemies when they come
Surely goodness and mercy
Will follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell on this earth forevermore
Said I walk beside the still waters
And they restore my soul
But I can't walk on the path of the right
Because I am wrong
Well, I came upon a man at the top of a hill
Called himself the savior of the human race
Said he come to save the world from destruction and pain
But I said, how can you save the world from itself?
'Cause I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
And I fear no evil because I'm blind
Oh, and I walk beside the still waters and they restore my soul
But I know when I die my soul is damned
But I know when I die my soul is damned
4. 11:01 Take on Me - Ashley Johnson (Ellie)
Talkin' away
I don't know what I'm to say
I'll say it anyway
Today's another day to find you
Shyin' away
I'll be comin' for your love, okay?
Take on me
Take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two
Needless to say
I'm odds and ends but I'll
I'll be stumbling away
Slowly learnin' that life is okay
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry
Take on me
Take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two
Things that you say
Is it life or just to play my worries away?
You're all the things I've got to remember
You're shyin' away
I'll be comin' for you anyway
Take on me
Take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two
In a day or two
Take on Me
5. 14:49 Wayfaring Stranger - Ashley Johnson & Troy Baker (Ellie & Joel)
I'm just a poor, wayfaring stranger
Traveling through this world of woes
There is no sickness, no toil, no danger
In that bright land to which I go
I'm going there to see my mother
She said she'd meet me when I come
I'm just a-goin' over Jordan
I'm just a-goin' over home
I know dark clouds will gather 'round me
I know my way is rough and steep
But beauteous fields lie just before me
Where gods redeemed their vigils keep
I'm going there to see my father
I'm going there, no more to roam
So I'm just a-goin' over Jordan
I'm just a-goin' over home
I'll soon be free from earthly trials
This body rests in the old churchyard
I'll drop this cross of self-denial
And go singing home to God
I'm going there to see my savior
I'm going there, no more to roam
I'm just a-goin' over Jordan
I'm just a-goin' over home
I'm just a-goin' over Jordan
I'm just a-goin' over home
I'm just a-goin....

This game 😭😭 truly what a fuking reconciliation of a journey. I honestly can't wait for 3
Troy baker will hands down always be my number 1 favorite actor to ever exist
Best actor

Thank you for posting this. It's crazy how heavily this game impacted people on a personal level. Even a year and a half later I am still in love with it. TLOU1 was my first ever playstation experience and it definitely set the bar pretty high for my future gaming experiences. I would honestly love to forget that I played it so I can go back and play it again with a fresh perspective.
nothing can beat that game. Its a bitter sweet that You experience the best game as your first but then its hard to find any game top that quality.

Joel made mistakes for Ellie {The Last Of Us}
Ellie made mistakes for Joel {The Last Of Us Part 2}
I call this a masterpiece .
the first game was a masterpiece. no way you truly think the second game is anywhere even CLOSE to being as good as the first. we waited so long to play the game and 20 mins in the game the character we wanted to see in the game most dies. there was a lot of other ways they couldve gone about the story and killing joel. the story was very lazy and generally the writing was mediocre at best.
She didn't get her redemption , in the end she did the right thing yes but i think that redemption for her (and mabe joel) will come in part 3
ellie and joel feels like there real people, ALIVE in real world, This is one of the thing I really love about TLOU
What a Truly amazingly beautiful yet dreadfully realistic game to feel for. Holy shyt⛰️rip Joel ⛰️💯🤧👍
Just as well you never played the game, that would probably have been more than your precious emotions and feelings could have coped with, not much chance of this but just in case you do. . . . . .
'Caution'
Stay away from Red Dead Redemption2.
Depois que o Joel morreu, perdi a vontade de jogar.
Estoy viendo la serie, sin haber jugado el juego...y ya estoy completamente atrapada por la historia y por los personajes.❤ Amo The Last of us ❤
Feel the same way about Telltale the Walking dead brother. Had the exact same experience as you, but with that series.
Joel was everybody's dream father I miss him so much. I know it's weird but man I felt a connection to that character
It's not weird don't worry.
i almost cried at the end when i heard ellie and joel singing together to wayfaring stranger🥲
I can speak for everyone with depression that this video is a comfort and a blessing.
This is hauntingly gorgeous. Wonderful performance from Troy Baker--reminiscent of Leonard Cohen.
This game man, really hittin.
I don't care what everybody says lou II was the best game I've ever played R. I. P Joel and I hope Ellie can get the closure she deserves
Thank you so much for this!
Realmente me encanta este playlist me hace reflexionar, sentirme emocionado y con ganas de jugar más TLOU
me pasas exactamente lo mismo xdd
me pasa totalmente lo contrario, para mi esta saga termino en el 1.

the take on me cover always makes me sob
Same! Jesus. It is incredible how videogames evolved to make you feel things like this
We hope your with Sarah again
and i thought i was the only one who cried like a baby

Every one of these are absolutely perfect.
Id be okay with that
Joel, uno de los mejores personajes de los videojuegos, me gusto mucho tu recopilación, ojala fiera esto más viral... pero, muy buen video bro.
Its actually kinda sad that Ellie can’t play the guitar anymore because she lost her two of her fingers
She could string it for left handed play, relearn to play left handed and then play again. It would be difficult, but not impossible.
@Kris P
You just made me want a DLC where Ellie actually accepts Joel’s death whilst re-learning the guitar.
I mean, that could be so symbolic; you should be on Naughty Dog’s payroll lol
yeah i bet 6 years later abby will be killed by Ellie and we can re visit dina again as Ellie
That's the tragedy of it. By the time she realised that revenge was something she no longer wanted, it had already cost her everything
Django Reinhardt lost part of his fingers during War, and with only two fingers left he became one of the greatest musicians who ever lived, Ellie could follow his steps...

Genuinely scared for Season 2 of TLOU. Part II messed me up for months. Will be watching of course
FYI These songs are on Spotify, they are under Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, not Ellie and Joel
Thank you so much. This helped me a lot with my depression. I simply love this game💔
"I'm going there to see my father"
That line, and the picture of Ellie and Joel, it broke me..

“The wounds of conscience always leave a scar.”
P. Syrus
So how much of a conscientious act is it to go forward? Choosing to rest your conscience will only bring more unrest and destruction. It is more correct and more beneficial to try to forget and try to prevent the loss of conscience-blood rather than revenge...
Unscrupulousness is one of the important factors that increase grudge and hatred. Injustice and unscrupulousness have a great role in the separation, polarization and deterioration of the ties of society.
I continue with Victor Hugo.
Being good is easy, what is difficult is being just. The most perfect justice is conscience...
“whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster, if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
This quote by Friedrich Nietzsche is a reminder to measure yourself and be aware of your own thoughts.
Again, I will continue with a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche:
“When we are unpreparedly (or impromptuly) questioned about a subject, the first thought that comes to our mind is often not our own thought but merely an ordinary thought belonging to our class, position, and ancestry. Self-thoughts rarely surface.”
Time, patience and thinking skills are required for high-level, powerful and philosophical “things” that are actually difficult to understand, difficult to notice.
Let me end with a final Nietzsche quote:
“The life of the enemy. Whoever lives for the sake of combating an enemy has an interest in the enemy's staying alive.”
Because maybe that person or that thing is not an enemy.
So the fools and the dead are people who do not feel their conscience, do not understand themselves and become numb with this meaninglessness, this is not true peace,
Good people are actually people who have attained peace of mind and prosperity.
That’s why The Last Of Us Part II is the most unique and emotional roller coaster masterpiece...
i miss you joel….deeply
😭😭 at least we have our memories 💯
Ellie and Joel's song generates a blow to my soul that leaves me shocked, they are both the best❤
Listening to this version of Take On Me really makes me cry. I really loved Ellie and Dina together.
wow...saw some of the comments that after 1 year of playing the game, they are still thinking about it.

Bruh just hearing Ellie's whistle crumble my heart!!!!!
I may my entirely relate to same issues but I can somewhat relate losing someone you love, and poor Ellie she’s cusses like a sailor but has an imaginative / innocence and I can honestly just fall into her shoes and relate to her personally ❤️ ||
I haven’t played it yet but I want to so bad and the first game included I just don’t have a ps4 yet
Je m en lasserai jamais..magnifique musique ❤

As a dad My self i cant help to undeetand all the pain Joel was goin thru...i f...ng love this game
This playlist is a precious pearl 💯💥
+++++++++++++++++++++++++👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I heard Joel's voice and for some reason it just made me cry 😭😭😭
