Miriam is amazing ... the swearing is her, you can't deny that. That last bit of advice though brought tears to my eyes ... she speaks the truth almost all of the time and I love her for it!!!

I started following MIriam after I stumbled over her hillarious talks with Graham Norton show couple of years ago. Since then I really enjoyed all of her interviews I could find, and I liked her first book. I like her serious and funny answers in equal measure. She is very inteligent, insightful, and, of course, funny. But I don't like this kind of interactions in "morning tv" shows where every host is giggling as soon as she appears, and they all act surprised that she can say something insightful and serious... that she is not just "old funny granny". Also... I can see that over the time that made Miriam a bit too consious about the language. She keeps apologizing when there is really no need to. She isn't rude in the interviews. She just talks freely as she should... that is exactly why they are calling her and promoting her work. That's her. And that is egzactly what all of us love. Please, stop being "shocked" when she is sirious or when she slips a "bad" word.
Regarding the first caller: completely missing point, that man should be taking part and helping look after the kids and domestic chores when he gets home, not just let his wife do it all.
Miriam, I think you should have a live podcast show/UA-cam show, where people can call in, or message in, to get your wonderful advice on all sorts of matters/issues they are dealing with, and I think your show’s name could be something like:
“Dear Miriam”!

Good communication is key in any relationship. I understand a person needing "down" time when coming home from work. That said, I think that one needs to sit down with your partner, one on one, and let your partner how you feel.

Recently with great sadness I discovered from my husband's mom that she heard that my daughter has two dobermans and since last month the male bit her four occasions when she was eating, we can't visit to eat with my daughter as each time she is preparing food but especially eating the dog becomes very quiet and watches her whilst growling. When she tries to tell him off to leave the table area he has bitten her. I think she needs to get a professional help by training. This has caused issues because my daughter invited us for lunch but we had to refuse but we can't let her know that my husbands mom divulged about the doberman and the biting events. My mother in law told me not to repeat what she told me as she would telephone to report the dog to the authorities. Please help!!

I disagree - she's a Brit like me and I don't like the way she's come over here and has insinuated herself into our Programs and Way of Life. Very self-congratulatory about 'telling her truth'. Also she is a "yes" merchant for the Voice which shows how PC and dumb she actually is.

You have to vet calls. Because griefers will spoil the stew for the sake of it. Though I think they’d fail. I’m betting the callers were vetted before being let through. A live show can be quite dangerous. Though they might’ve had a few minutes delay to give them leeway.
