If ya want 1 build 1 there’s plenty of step by step diy videos on UA-cam Gazza garage is a good watch for building I’m currently building a race mower and race track and registering a nz club I might do a couple videos of my builds I’m a automotive machinist so everything will be professionally built cool videos this dude doing
I want to put green lights on mine end chrome rims they got to be gold yellow Chrome and do the body chrome green almost like the John Deere Green but do it like a color shift make lights definitely
Goes to show what a simple mundane thing like a lawnmower, a welder, and a little bit of imagination can do. I am in the process working on my own rat rod mower. I’ve had a blast every step of the way truly is a special community can’t wait to be apart of the custom lawn mower crowd 😎🤙🏻🤙🏻
I fixed a craftsman riding mower (with a B&S engine) that had a popped valve seat just like yours. I used a punch and peened the case over the edge of the ring. The mower has worked for years since I fixed it. The seat pops out due to overheating
I'm trying to pulley swap my mower, I have a john Deere like yours but I can't find a front pulley that fits in the front on the engine can you recommend me a pulley that will fit
Nice bro! Maybe want to build something like this but i don't have a shop or garage? Also limited by tools etc. like i dont have a weldingmachine. Any tips maybe?
Had the valve seat come out on me as well. I just jammed it back in and then dot punch around it to hold it in place. Raced it about 6 times since then and it's still going strong.
17 hp, i can say i have a stronger crappier racing mower than these guys after i finish mine, Awesome content, your videos have inspired me to fix my old racing mower so many times, and have helped inspire me to build the one i am building now, Keep up the good work
im learning how ro weld too. Your welds are better than mine lol. i just bought a TIG welder to practice. Also Im going back to school on welding Fundamentals
i would like to see you wire lights to your John deer race mower so you can correctly ride it at night if you take the john deer race mower out at night again
yo i came across a john deere 111 for free and im currently in the processes of rebuilding in just like your 108, is there any way i could get ahold of your build photos that would be awesome, mainly on slamming the front, throttle and clutch
Those motors are known for that if you horse on them to hard that happens and yes you can put it back in and go again use red locktite it helps it stay in
@@spudstudios3342 yeah i know. I have the same 801. We did a maintenance on it 2 years ago. All gears in perfect shape, no demage. Awesome transaxle. I was fascinated when i watched these videos and saw what it can do

Im working on a racing mower right now and Im using this as inspiration. love how clean it is, great job

Simply brilliant! Like that you mention the reuse/repurposing of parts. Your builds are most creative…fun to see, thanks!
So glad to see you revisit this! Your first video inspired me to make one myself. I'm still in the process, it's going well!
Did this to a 170 after seeing yours for inspiration. Blew the gearbox up after 2 days. I’m surprised yours had held up.
We Live in the Same Town, Let's Collab On doing some Paint Work on It! Love the Content! 🎥🔥
Awesome build DUDE!!👍👍👍

Can't wait for part 2
needs steel pulleys, those cast aluminum ones love to break, and bypass the gov for more control and speed
9:29 that TIG is looking nice!

Get a craftsman mower if you want to lower it for the rear you just flip the brackets same for the front and they are super common
I'm putting a 30hp briggs and stratton v-twin in my john deere 111
I did the same last year and even with the belt tight as a bowstring it still slipped
Had the valve seat come out on me as well. I just jammed it back in and then dot punch around it to hold it in place. Raced it about 6 times since then and it's still going strong.
Awesome project, love it.

You’re a great inspiration!
You should add a after market slide carb
If you take a snow brush to your board and bindings before you bring it in it won't melt all over the shop floor
How is the seat mounted to the body or frame. Building my own almost finished.
Fit a led bar in the slid in the hood for night riding
im learning how ro weld too. Your welds are better than mine lol. i just bought a TIG welder to practice. Also Im going back to school on welding Fundamentals
headlights and brake lights would be sick.

how do you make the foot throttle? ive been very intrested in one of those
Peddle attracted to a universal throttle cable and you cut it so it fits on the throttle piece good
...so what are your pully ratios...size on engine & size on trans??
Guys get him to the 100k subsribers
what pulleys were you running? i got a 111 but not sure on what sizes to go with

What kind of welder do you use
Hobart 210
why dont you instal a mx bike low cc engine in the mower?
Did you have to take out the governor??
I wish i still had my 1963 110
bro how did you do the camber?
What transmission are you using?
You should get a twin 700 cc that would make for a good video
What size pulley do you have?
Hey ! why there is an opening on the hood ? To cool the engine ?
what kind of peerless is that under it?
801
@@spudstudios3342 thx. Its amazing how well the 801 handles the pulley swap and the speed.
@@ErdeCashthey have all steel gears like an 820, just smaller axles. they are very strong

@@ErdeCashahh, ok. Wish i could find one...
just saw another video some dude in europe did the same thing. he put a race exhaust on it on the back. its on youtube. hes a master fabricator
U mind telling me what type of engine this is?
Habis biaya berapa bang?
Does anyone know what model the ride on mower is called?
whats it called?. i got inspired and i want that exact one but then modify it and make it like race and drift.Just like the one in the vid at 13:48
:)
OK like how much would it cost for you to build me one just like that
Is it a 2 wheel or 4 wheel
Ok thx, Iam inspired
Love it
