How did you do with last week's video? Regular, preterite AR conjugation.
I hope you followed my instructions. Downloaded the free resources I gave you. Practiced your little tooshie off.
If you did, this week's lesson will be much easier.
If you didn't, it'll be way more confusing.
    That's how verb conjugation works.
Learn the first one just kinda eh, the next one will be significantly harder.
There are patterns between the conjugations. Similarities. Differences.
If you can notice those similarities and differences, verb conjugation is a lot easier.
If not, it'll feel like you're drowning.
I've done it both ways. One way led me to an F in high school Spanish.
The other way... led me to Gringo Español (now The Spanish Dude).
    The choice is yours.
Watch this week's video, Regular, preterite ER/IR conjugation:
    spanishdude.com/quickies/regu...
Then download the free assignments and do them.
Do them well. Do them for real.
And I promise, not only will you know regular preterite ER/IR conjugation like the back of your hand...
You'll feel like a million bucks. I call it the Spanish High.
    Try it!
Watch the video. Do the assignments. Then I'll see you next week, we'll start hitting the imperfect tense.
If I can do this, YOU can do this.
    So DO THIS!

I've watching some of your videos for a while and as a Spanish native I really think you do a great great job, even I find interesting some of the rules, connections or similiarities you find between conjugations or english and spanish words. So yeah, keep going man! Sure it makes it easy to learn spanish.

Hey, your videos are excellent in teaching the specifics of grammar in Spanish. I am currently going through the Rosetta Stone program; the problem is, Rosetta Stone is great for vocabulary, but weak on explaining the specifics. Using your videos alongside Rosetta Stone has helped me immensely where Rosetta Stone could not have on its own. Thank you.

    • @TomzaBKewl

There are many more irregulars but only the stems are different. For example "I had" is not "tené" it's actually "tuve."

I have a question. When you say "practice one conjugation pattern at a time" do you mean practice conjugation for IR, ER, and AR individually? Or do you mean to practice all the conjugations for every verb you run across?

I think your videos have awesome information. I would use them more in my classes, but the way the videos are edited or something make the videos very choppy. I think you should consider changing whatever is causing that issues. As a teacher the information is good, but my students hate these videos because of the choppiness. At first I thought it was my internet, but no other videos do that. Please consider changing this! Other than that, your videos rock!
