A guy called Hussein does this kind of work. Absolute hell we had to go through with a slab he did for us. When we spoke to people about it everyone said he's a cheat and does very dodgy work. So watch out Perth.
Where the underlay is exposed you can see the mesh isn't close to the right depth, so I'd bet the concreter couldn't tell you how much a pack of bar chairs are from a supplier because they haven't ordered them in over a decade.
Why aren’t all trades licensed in Perth as in other states to prevent a probable migrant from trashing the industry. The builder must have gone with a cheap quote, no supervision and now made to look like a idiot. Their client deserved much better and should be fined or their building licence revoked as this cannot occur again.Where are you Building Commission?
That is the worst example of a slab pour I have ever seen. Exposed steel in a wet area, I won’t even describe the semi finished spots as having been troweled, exceptionally fit for purpose cold joint (if I had EVER let my guys get away with that on the Civil Construction sites I managed we would have been kicked off the site and I would be worried about my life; my job would already be history!), unfinished areas where they just walked away and even left the forms. That is simply the worst slab I have ever seen in my life. As above that another brother already mentioned; name and shame. That’s just a day with a rock/concrete breaker and a loader/bobcat loading it to the tip. Please tell me a house wasn’t built on that! There’s bad workmanship that can be saved by rectification by someone with a brain; but that is such a failure in so many areas surely that has to be completely done from scratch..? Shit I bloody hope so 😳
Name and shame my man, if thats the standard of their work the world should know.
Where is the builder’s supervisor? Surely he can’t be ok with this?

What a disgrace … can we get a follow-up on this and some of the other builds that you inspect. 👍🏻

Yeah man I picked that to…unbelievable.

The exposed steel is sitting on the moisture barrier, it will be useless.
