I’ve never trusted that my body would square the club which keeps me inconsistent . Halfway through my last round I said F it and just did it every swing and hit the ball beautifully using this exact corner/impact thought.😮
Mr. Fitzgerald, Thanks so much for this very enlightening presentation. At times, the Impact drill with the club approaching to the inside quadrant and exiting left was so easy and produced great golf strikes and occasionally maddening pulls. Your emphasis on continuous left hip movement beyond the initial impact pose helped to make the ball flight much more consistent. Thanks for your efforts
Had to rewatch the segment starting at 3:40 to understand, please confirm I understand.... that stopping the turn of the lead hip finds the hands traveling independently on an arc that closes the club face (i.e. flipping over). Though when the handle travels WITH moving hips, the club face stays true and square to the arc (doesn't flip over). Is this an accurate interpretation? Thanks Billy, I'm subscribing!
Great video! Your presentation style is excellent. Have had problems with hooks and pulls for some time now. A side question if you don't mind. You mention the feeling of the right hand on the shaft at impact. Do you feel as if the your right palm is pushing down/putting pressure on the shaft? Thanks!
Thanks for watching Steven and thanks for the question. When the club changes direction it loads the right arm and wrist. You want to apply this loading sensation into the back of the ball, much like a baseball players trail arm lines up with the bat called line of compression.

Yes..Use your body to get out of the way and stabilize the club face. Good work 👍⛳️
This is spot on. Help my kid a ton. Thanks!
Happy to help!..Thanks for watching 👍⛳️

Good interpretation Mark..yes the rotation of the body stabilizes the club face. Thanks for subscribing 👍⛳️

@@BillyFitzgeraldGolf Thanks!
Hands stay very low?
Hands work around your body which is low and left after the strike.
