I need to get myself a cozy sitting pillow like that for my reading spot 😂 I love it!! I'm so sorry to hear the 3rd book really didn't do it for you! I understand the pain of liking the wrong guy, especially in YA books. I feel like when it happens to me its *always* YA books and it always ends like how you mentioned. Just not as well as it could have (or deserved) and almost like the author feels the need to self-sabotage to avoid any 'triangle confusion', I guess you could call it, haha 😪
you need to get a cozy sitting pillow! it's a game changer!! also, yes, it's always the YA books where i end up liking the wrong guy more. i'm not sure why authors feel the need to sabotage the "wrong" guy, but it happens too often 😭 it's one of my book pet peeves now
@@madireads6 I've got one in my cart right now - you don't have to tell me twice 🤣 Same, officially a book pet peeve now. It's such a shame when it happens in a good book 😪
I unfortunately didn’t know that the kiss of deception was the first series before I bought dance of thieves so I’ve just got that duology on my shelf bc I’m not gonna read it until I get kiss of deception 🤦🏻♀️
also agreed twilight wasn’t a love triangle. Jacob was never a question to her. even when Edward wasn’t in the picture and she thought he hated her, she was like “nah you’re my bestie!” it was more like a couple and the third wheel who’s obsessed with one member of the couple that said: Jacob was great until Meyer ruined his character. loved Jacob. cute little sweetie. and then he forced Bella to kiss him which was like not cool and then I don’t wanna talk about breaking dawn
I also didn’t know that the kiss of deception was the first series until after I downloaded dance of thieves! I’m currently reading dance of thieves and I am glad that I did read the kiss of deception or else I would’ve been super confused by the world and history haha
@@thebearslibraryyes!! bella was always into edward 100% of the time. also I agree that stephanie meyers ruined jacob’s character, probably so that people wouldn’t want bella with jacob anymore, which I feel like is the unfortunate ending to a lot of love triangles
@@madireads6 i tried reading dance of thieves, got maybe 2 pages in and went “ohoho I don’t know what’s going on” and just set it back down and THEN found out it’s a sequel series
@@madireads6 it definitely is! but it’s super bizarre bc he wasn’t even a contender. why ruin his character? who cares if the fans like him more? Lord knows fans like other love interests way more all the time without them even being an option (for instance I know a lot of people thought Lucien was a great person for Feyre when they had only read ACOTAR)
Killed it with this video! How many books have you read so far this year?
thank you!! i think i'm a little past 100 books read so far this year haha. it's my only hobby!
