This the final battle between Windmark and Olivia, I can only say that this scene is the most epic scene I have ever seen in the Fringe serie, when I first saw this I thought of what music could empower this scene and the famous "Hearth of courage" by Two Steps from Hell cross my mind so I made a little change in the soundtrack.

arguably one of the most satisfying villain deaths in TV history

Great scene, although I prefer the original soundtrack. I feel the scene stands on its own and the additional music only detracts.

I love that scene, especially how Olivia summons all her power with Cortexephan and it can be seen by the lights slowly shutting off in the buildings behind her. It makes sense since emotion is the controlling factor in the use of Cortexephan. Not to mention, she looks at the bullet that killed her and is reminded of her daughter and her powers.

I think what happened here was that Olivia was gonna splat Windmark with the vehicle at which point he tried to teleport out from between the vehicles, but was held there by the anomalous kid's powers which consequently constituted a successful splat with blood going everywhere. I think the boy's shushing to Olivia was sort of like saying, "Don't tell anybody I helped you do this".

Remember, the kid orchestrated Olivia getting caught and getting injected with Cortexaphan again in that reality. Long game. Gotta watch out for that kid in next Season... 😥😥😥

Don't fuck with Olivia, specialy if you killed her daughter.
I like the idea of shut down all the light, it's reference of the first season, when David robert jones, forced her to do that with a bomb.

Here's my version: Olivia levitates Etta's bullet. Windmark smirks smugly, challenging her to kill him. She sends the bullet flying. He holds up his hand to stop it but it's so fast it rips through his palm, tears through his heart, and continues to a building's huge window where the Observers poster hangs with The future in order motto. The glass shatters and the poster falls, followed by Windmark whose last expression is the realisation his kind has been defeated.

She just pushed an entire car at great speed against another car with her mind only in order to kill an augmented man with super fast reflexes and teleporting ability; what were you expecting?...

How she was used this last season I just knew there was one last huge thing she would do coming, I was getting worried near the end here, but alas. Everything I imagined was going to happen the last 3-4 episodes played exactly how i wanted and imagined, I was kinda impressed with myself lol.

It would make more sense if the boy actually was the one who did it , yet let ya believe it was Olivia since he was the one with huge advances in the mind. He probably waited to be justified in using his power as a last resort and its the reason he puts his finger up in telling her to be silent on the matter since he didn't want anyone to know he had that kind of leverage when he went into the future or something.

I don't think there's too much thought to put into this, what I understood makes more sense to me than what people are theorizing. I guess Olivia's power shocked Windmark, and he stood there watching what she was doing, and he could not foresee what was to come: the car that hit him. And that particular moment was Michael's power and not Olivia's, so I think she was more of a distraction so that he couldn't get away, and as we can see by that scene, he tries to step outside of time and space, but he wasn't fast enough because he couldn't see this was coming.

Inorganica I Química I agree with this; Michael gesturing his finger to his lips _heavily_ indicates that he did something. He might've given her a boost. The lights going out behind Olivia makes me think of a scifi gun or large, rarely-used machine powering up. As she was priming to strike, Michael could've added extra power to cut down the time and give her the element of surprise. Otherwise, Olivia gathering up her strength would've been nothing, considering how fast Windmark teleports.

I thought that windmark was going to be bashed around a bit before being killed, like the lightning in the End of all things or when she controls Peter and the guards in Brave New world, come on it's the last episode, can't we see how powerful Olivia really is

Shouldn't have changed the music. It's not "Guiles theme goes with everything" ...with this one.

When I watched this scene for the first time I thought she was going to make the bullet fly at a very fast speed and go through his head or heart before he had a chance to teleport.

Never understood why so many villains make the same damn mistake. They have the hero by the throat, then they throw them away, still alive. He could just have easily crushed her throat or snapped her neck. But he just threw her away barely strangled!

I wonder if Olivia actually killed Windmark. He left blood but he also used teleportation. He probably appeared somewhere demaged. Anyway he was destinied to be erased from existence together with all the observer race, thanks to the plan. But it's obvious it was Olivia who used her powers, not Michael. I still dubt he was really important. Donald said that Michael had emotions and was mentally powerful but he didn't show anything. Lack of emotions, lack of powers...just a little nose bleeding with Windmark. He was also destinied to be erased, because the scientist in the end will not create observers, so...bye bye September, bye bye Michael! We had no proofs of his importance. So....why ruin Peter's importance that was really hinted for almost 5 seasons with different, cool, significant moments, for nothing?? Especially after the actions he did with the observer tech!

i wish, honestly, that they'd made his ending more dramatic. olivia could do so much...and at the very end, they made it rather unimpressive.

I think the paranormal "powers" are pretty understated in Fringe. Throwing a car with your mind is a really big deal in that universe.
