Great video! We're off to Norway on Queen Anne in August. It'll be our 3rd attempt to visit Stavanger as it's been cancelled once by Princess for a medical evacuation and twice by Cunard due to bad weather. Really hoping we get there this time. Thanks for the details about visiting the Three Swords. It's always good to use public transport. We loved the Epicurean. P & O's speciality restaurants are great value for money.

Thank you again for taking time to watch our videos - Your support means a lot to us .. really does ! Hope you get to Stavanger…. We had read and seen other videos that suggested it was rather dull but we really loved it and could have done with more time there - We’d happily return on another trip.. Norway is so brilliant to visit. Hearing lots of good things about the Queen Anne too .. Hope it’s an amazing trip for you! Thx again

Oo we've been looking forward to this! This cruise is on our bucket list for sure. Oo the weather on your sail out was stunning! Your brother looked like he really took to cruising. I love stavanger! That's a port from my dancer days. I've never seen the 3 swords monument though! Yep I used to drink a Norwegian beer there too. You're very kind to the greatest day!! Our review was 'that's an hour of our life we'll never get back!!' Yep Si's review for us!! Olden is just stunning. Man, you bad people are making us want to book this for next year! Oh no - the schhh show!! Glad you swerved it! Alesund is also beautiful! Oh no poor Matt. I've never been to Haguesund. Looks pretty. Glad Matt was feeling better. Glad you got some Rotterdam weather in out last day!! We didn't do the Epicurian, that's on the list for next time! Loved your week! We want to do this!! Cheers 🍻

The Three Swords monument (Sverd i stein) marks the unification of Norway around 872-900 CE. Harald Fairhair beat the last chieftains at the battle of Hafrsfjord and thus became king of all of Norway. The three swords are a sign of peace in that the king's sword (the one with the crown) is inserted into the rocks next to the chieftains' two so that theoy should never be used again.
(That didn't actually happen but that's the symbolsm behind the monument.)

Great vlog.. thank you.. we’re due to go soon and want to visit the swords in stavanger too..but didn’t quite hear where you said the bus stop was… could you advise please, so I can have a look…how far was the stop from the cruise terminal.. and how long was the journey? Thanks 👍

Thank you for watching - Appreciated.. Take the walk into town and head for Olsen Vs Gate stop M … it’s a 10 min brisk walk I’d say … take the public bus to Madlaleiren - it’s about 15 minutes ride and we paid 45kr per person each way via the Kolumbus App .. buy your tickets before you board which creates a QR code that you scan on the bus using a scanner .. The QR codes have to be scanned within an hour of purchase … Hope this helps and saves you time and money .. We will do the walk to the rock art and standing stones on our next visit we think ..

Does P&O Cruises have a 24-hour restaurant? Not called formal night anymore? A glass of Prosecco sounds good. Do P&O Cruises have a casino onboard? Not a fan of discos. Would rather be in the casino. The old town looks very nice. My mobile phone would not work out of the US. The shopping looks nice. Going to visit historic buildings is good. Don't like cable cars. Coffee with a pastry or a doughnut is good. Since this is a British ship, do they have afternoon tea? They spell Kaiser different. Climbing to the top is one thing. Getting back down is another story. That looks good. He did something amazing. Like to try local products when in foreign countries. The Tomato Soup seems good as the Vegetable and Bean Chili. Prime Roast Beef looks good too. Have seen a few of your videos and decided to subscribe.

Wow - Thank you so much for watching and also for subscribing! It means a lot and we never take such things for granted … It’s appreciated.. Wow loads of questions here so we’ll do our best -
      - you can get food from the buffet after 11pm.. it’s a limited choice but is available until past our bedtime in any case - Dint think it’s 24 hrs though
      - Yes P&O have a casino onboard - It’s next to the Brodie’s pub on most of their ships
      - shame about your phone ?? Would an ESim or mobile data sim work? They are a godsend when we travel far and wide
      - There is definitely afternoon tea ! It’s part of being a Brit ..
We had a great time and if you’ve watch our other videos you’ll know we like to get out and about and explore the places we dock … trying local food and especially cake is a favourite…
      Thank you again
