Thank you guys - You are dead right - Far too much going on in Rome .. Thx for the concern over family member. It was quite serious but thankfully they are still here. The drinks question is a good one .. There are so many fountains that you can fill water bottles from around the city .. We used them to refill and keep hydrated and it’s so refreshing the water - absolutely delicious and fresh .. we saw locals doing similar and thought what the heck .. There are so many street sellers trying to sell you water in plastic bottles .. There are are paid and free water bottles filling points around too - These modern machines had big queues of tourists waiting to fill their bottles even though a hundred yds away was often a free to use old fountain dispensing the same water and used by locals chuckling at the queueing tourists. Aah thx so much.. very kind of you - yes this was a great start to a brilliant holiday. We very rarely go for the balcony but it was only £60 dearer to book and we really got a lot of enjoyment from the balcony. It’s been interesting seeing how the two formats of VLOGS are received by our UA-cam audience too.. Thx for all the support and feedback.

Your point is a good one and in the video I did comment on this but also that the pppn basis for this Marella Long Haul Marella Cruise was cheaper than the short haul Marella Cruise we took 6 months previously to try and balance out this point .. Given the long haul nature of the Marella Cruise we felt we had good value and also that was a brilliant destination experience too.. but our continued experience is that Marella do work out a little more expensive on a pppn basis ..Thank you again

Firstly thank you for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. We do value peoples opinions on what we create …so thank you. I am not sure we agree with the point you raise about the price comparison as in the video we did point out that Marella’s pricing for a short hall cruise to the Adriatic at the end of 2023 was more expensive on a pppn basis than the long haul in this video. All Marella cruises we have compared in this series of comparison videos have exceeded the pppn indicated in this video for both P&O and MSC… But we hope that our love and appreciation of Marella comes over … And in our previous two Comparison videos Marella have come out on top… … Thank you again and hope you have some good trips planned .

Thank you Guys - Yes we loved the space too. Our cabin steward was really good too and kept everything spotless and clean - We learned something Interesting about the cabin bathrooms that explains why so many of the older and more experienced stewards opt for the older P&O ships .. Apparently many choose ships like Aurora/Arcadia/Ventura/Azura because the bathrooms are smaller and have shower curtains.. In their experience these bathrooms are easier to clean and create less strain on elbows and shoulders which can get painful with cleaning many larger bathrooms with shower screens..

They can be brilliant as we found out in May on Iona and downright ordinary and underwhelming as in this video and the cruise we are currently on.. Consistency on the other hand is what Marella do .. It’s never amazing but always good we’ve found ..Thx again

Thank you Guys - We have had such amazing experiences in both these destinations. We’d highly recommend them both. The glacier hike we did and the Northern lights are very much personal highlights of all the travelling we’ve done over the years.
