Very interesting, thank you! But can I ask if you would cover the legal, broadcast elements you mentioned in the first 45 second. What does this mean in setting up workflows, what to do to take these into consideration. This would be really interesting.

Thanks! Question: right next to «clamp signal» in the lumetri scopes window, the default setting seems to be 8 Bit. Should I change this to 10 Bit if I’m using 10 Bit footage? Or do you always leave it at 8?

Do the colors have to sit inside the vectorscope polygon or just not crash to the side of the circle? Premiere pro cc2014 doesn't have that hexagon ...

What do you mean by "keep their images legal"? What is an illegal image in terms of color?

Broadcast legal - not an issue unless your work is being broadcast on TV. Broadcast limits are maximum colour and luma saturation for broadcast.

You determine legal by the two blocks within each color range. The set of 6 closest to the center are Broadcast legal, where you shouldn't have any issues if your content ends up on tv, because your colors won't bleed excessively. The second, outer ring of blocks represents saturation limits. Typically if your "white web" extends beyond these blocks, then you could have an issue with strange colors upon export. The outer ring is more safe for uploading to the internet, youtube, social media, etc, but broadcast is more strict so there's less area for error once the final file has been delivered. I know, 2 years late lol but hope it helps!
