Blade furry is also one of the few weapons that can by pass The immunity phase is on some bosses and it shoots knife bullets.

That unforgiven masher on a mordecai pistols build is absolutely insane. Especially since his “gun crazy” skill which give a chance to fire another bullet, actually *doubles* the amount of projectiles fired.
@@Orinslayer Unforgiven masher on mord is the highest damage in BL1 you can achieve - gun crazy doubling the projectiles, plus the right tree capstone Relentless means that it can do an additional 25% on top of that. All of his skills combined with the 200% bonus means that a level 30 unforgiven masher can compete with level 65+ endgame purple mashers
Expected the Hellwalker to be 1 but can’t argue with the Blade Fury. My personal fav is the Clairvoyance, Trickshot is underrated as hell too imo
I like how the Skullmasher is the truest Jakobs that's always remained consistently viable throughout the games. Also I'd like to give an honorable mention to the Envy sniper from Wonderlands. It just melts enemies away with the insane DoT damage it has, and can even chew most bosses like Redmourne.
The Maggie, Skullmasher, Hellwalker, and The Clairvoyance are my all time favorite Jakobs weapons.

Rowan's call might be my favorite gun in the franchise. That's been a priority gun for my Gamma Burst Fl4k for years now, never get tired of it. It's so satisfying to endlessly dump that thing into enemies and all you can see is red letters and rad explosions.
Great list, dude! I think everything is placed exactly where it should be. Obviously my aforementioned preference (see gushing) for Rowan's would put it at #1 but I do agree the guns you put ahead of it perform a bit better.
In my last playthrough I got a hell Walker at like lvl 12 and was still using it till I found another one at lvl 32 or something crazy like that. The gun is so bad ass.

I’m a little bummed the luck canon is only a honorable mention, such a fun and strong weapon. I really hope it comes back in BL4 with a character that can use it just as well as Nisha
Yeah it was originally number 9 on my list and then I got to the Lucky 7 and realized it’s just an always Lucky Luck Cannon
I really love single shot weapons that do huge damage they just feel good, I wish they would do a sniper rifle like that too
The Little Yeeti should have been an honorable mention in its masher form. That little thing was so fun.
My favorite Jakobs will always be the Maggie, simple to use but HOLY HECK its fun to use

The Hellwaker is easily one of my favorite guns in the series. I even have the sound effect as my phones text notification beep.
When I get one it lasts for so many levels
Hellwalker, Rowan’s Call and Maggie are all guns I just keep on me, love em, never realised I only used jakobs, quite like the flood and the companion though

I hope they bring back the Flayer. It might have been just a Juiced up coachgun, but that is the reason why I liked it so much. It just took all the fun parts of the Coachgun and made it strong enough to be used outside of the first playthrough or hyper specialized builds. On the note of Hyper specialized builds, Jacobs is one of those weapon companies that benifit the most from when people wanna just go all in on the weapons. Like a Doc's quad Zero build in bl2 goes so hard when it comes to mobbing. Just going around in deception getting one taps and trying to line up the most satisfying B0res.

Great video! Jakobs has always been my favourite manufacturer and to me they’ve always been the most satisfying to use. I love the style of their guns and I can’t wait to see what crazy new and returning weapons will be in Borderlands 4. A little surprised that no gun from wonderlands had an honourable mention unless that game doesn’t count.
Thing is, my one complaint in Bl3 on Jacobs is they in general lacked that 1HKO with a headshot with a single bullet feel.
I wish there was more of that.
Lucky 7 was a great weapon though.
They turned Jacob’s into vladoff with a cowboy theme
to be fair the game is already easy enough, that if they retain the one hit kill I'll be even easier and make other manufacturer redundant.
They should've nerf the fire rate cause it's a bit too fast.
Elephent Gun imo should have been an honorable mention, because it has a fun feel as a rapid shot sniper given that it doesn't have a scope making it easier for close quarters while still having reliable accuracy at long range, so while clearly was a gimmick gun it wasn't restricted to a gimick playstyle
Back on my old level 50 Axton PS3 save I loved the Buffalo, felt like I was a WW2 rifleman
Love this whole list. Jakobs is also definitely my favorite manufacturer, and always has been. This list brought back a lot of great memories too.

specially the BL3 gatlin versions, absolutely love the way you fire them (Hand of Glory, Clairvoyance, Blade Fury, Gatlin Gun, Icebreaker, etc.)

My favorite Jakobs is the ORIGINAL Sledge's shotgun from Borderlands 1. Probably the all-time favorite gun alongside with the Carnage from Borderlands 2.
And then.... they massacred my boy in all of the next borderlands titles...
But my favorite manufacturer is probably Torgue (even in Borderlands 1), and the second is Dahl.
Didn’t see it on the list but I’m currently using the Striker on a BL2 play through. We are only on play through 1 but the minuscule spread and solid accuracy have combined with Anarchy stacks have made it deadly even nearly 10 levels later.

Lucky 7 with Bottomless Mags Moze is some of the most fun I've had with a gun in any Borderlands game full stop
I've always loved the Maggie. It's been my favourite pistol in the Borderlands franchise. 2nd place would definitely be the Blade Fury though. Now for a Scav/Bandit/COV list just to see where the Linoge lands on it 😂

To farm perfect Rowan's Calls you can look up the date and location of a Black Market machine that had it, changing your computer date to that one and, to farm it even faster, do a copy of your save file when reaching a respawn point.
So you go to the black market vendor, back up your save after getting close to a respawn point or when your game autosaves, see if the vendor machine has a good roll and if you want to check again without waiting 30m, change your current save to the back up you made.
Wait… does that actually work?
@@Ki11ersix Yeah, I've farmed most of my items that way. I even got that green pistol Shrike like that. I dont know how is this not well known.
Edit: BTW in my case when I change the date time of the PC, the browser gives an error every time you open a website and it doesnt let you load it.

My vote is on pretty much all Jakobs shotguns, legendary or not. They all just feel so god damn GOOD to shoot in every iteration of the game (even in Wonderlands!)

Maggie and Skullmasher will forever be my favorite guns from Borderlands. Maggie was the first ever legendary i got in BL2.

It's by no means the best, but i got a world-drop Duc early in my play through and it very quickly became my favorite gun in the entire series. I will pretty much always have one in any of my loadouts
Blade Fury and Skullmasher for me. I do wish Bird of Prey and Ionic Disruptor had received an Honorable Mention. Oh, and the Hot Mama for no other reason than the innuendo.
Any Jakobs masher from the first game is worth using. If you find one early in the game it will likely carry you for good 15-20 levels before you need an upgrade.
Jakobs is my favorite manufacturer. Rowan's Call is a fantastic gun and has carried me hard. I do think it has some of the best weapons.
I feel like the stars aligned for me to enjoy Jakobs weapons. Big damage and crit, great aesthetic, deeply satisfying sounds and usage...

With someone who hasn’t unlocked everything from every vault card, I was unaware of the Bladed Fury. I mean it’s going to take a while to get all the cosmetic stuff from all 3 cards, but it’ll be fun tackling that.
boomacorn should have been another honorable mention and it's gimmick makes you deal exponentially increased damage for every projectile that hits an enemy when you shoot their feet
Back in Borderlands 1 I was fortunate to find a Unforgiven. What was so special about it was it had the Masher effect. Mad crit damage
I really like the monocle sniper, a true oneshot headshot gun
What I like about bl3 is the anointment effects a gun can drop with. For instance a hellwalker with +100% shock dmg for two mags after skill end
Next two mags on a Hellwalker seems like one of the worst options, but point taken.
Now I know why Moze deserves the Rowan's Call.
Just started my first siren run in BL3 and those jakobs shotguns with the bayonets are insane i just shoot and stab and slam and everything dies
B1 defler> masher> rowans call> bl2 maggie> skull masher bl3> blade fury> hell walker that's all the jakobs I used
I've been missing K6 videos this week! I think the clairvoyance is my favorite. I burned over 1000 hours on Counter Strike and shooting for headshots and crit spots are my default state of being in an FPS game.
I think the queens call personally is the best Jacobs weapon when it comes to playing as fl4k
I've had some bosses in Pre-Sequel just die instantly with Nisha and double Two-fer Luck Cannons but my favorite to actually use is the Dakota in B3 for some reason.
Maggie is a top 5 for sure! Classic badass!

Bird of Prey is a personal favorite. That 2nd projectile does insane damage
The skullmasher in the pre sequel can actually be farmed without turning Nel aggro using the jack o cannon. You just have to spam where he stands with the bombs, then dropping the jack-o so that it deals damage to him. Great way to farm legendaries for the grinder

Flayer and hellwalker are my favorite jacobs weapons, Maggie is also alot of fun especially in bl3.

I got most of the abilities to proc on the Lucky 7 as a moze and it shreds basically everything once it gets going, mobbing with body shots and heavy damage to bosses? Yes please. I love the Lucky 7

The Bessie from Bl1 and the Twister from Bl2 are some of my favourites.
For my my favorite Jakobs has to be the hellwalker in BL3 Mayhem, regular playthroughs I use the one pump chump for those satisfying 1HKOs.
When I get a hellwalker during a play through it lasts me for so many levels
I genuinely feel like the lucky 7 is the strongest weapon in BL history, provided you have ammo regen and the right roll, even stronger than the strongest launcher you can think of!
In fact it's the reason I got bl3 to begin with :))

At first I was going to complain that the Lucian's Call isn't getting any love, but I seem to have forgotten that this weapon is made by Vladof, even though it feels like a Jacob's weapon. I can only agree with the list even though Jakobs has a lot of good weapons. And maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I love the "Hunt" weapons. I don't even know why, maybe I'm just an idiot xD

Can’t imagine playing BL2 first and then going back to 1.. I did that with bioshock, I played bioshock 2 first and everything I read online said 2 was terrible and 1 was a perfect masterpiece so I went to play it and it was terrible lmao

Only bad thing about Skullmasher in Borderlands 3 is that it's skin f*cking suck - but you can thankfully fix that!

The Maggie in BL2 will always hold a special place in my heart. I know it's not the best weapon, but it doesn't need to be for me. It was the first legendary I got way back in 2012, it was the legendary Yoteslaya used a lot when he did his Legendary Weapon Guides. To me, the Maggie was the start of my love for the Borderlands series.

My pick is the Kings/Queens call. My aim is crap, so I did a run-through with Fl4k and only carried these weapons. Was a good way to sharpen aiming skills and the visuals are awesome.
How did the Flood not make this list? I had so much fun with that in BL3, mostly with Zane and all his speed boosts it was just insane jumping around spraying everyone

I actually got my first Bekah in BL2 from the boss at the end of the Hammerlock dlc. Not sure if that was a bug, or if that happened to anyone else either.
