Just got 1 of these and installed it and still trying to get used to it. One thing I'm not liking is that when it detects motion and starts recording, it only records for a set amount of time. I have tried to do the maximin of 2 minutes, but I'm getting 8 second clips. So if your car is in the driveway and a person comes to steal it... You'll only get 8 seconds worth of footage, even though the person was there for a good 5 minutes. How does this help anyone?!?

Can you rewind live video or record without an event notification. We have a neighborhood bully that sneaks around and kind of hangs around our house and harasses my child, and then goes home and tells his family that my son is the aggressor. I need some thing that I can record, no matter how short the interaction, how long the interaction. This kid harasses my son at school and now he’s actually harassing my son right outside of our property. It’s gotten to the point where I need this extra security. And I need to know whether or not I can rewind a live event and start recording some thing that is just happening. Without the hassle of having to go into the app, find the event, start recording. I need some thing that if I hear something going on outside, or my son comes in and says that this kid is doing it again, that I can go to the app, rewind, and hit record.
I'm sorry that's happening to your son. Bullies are the worst. If you need to record an active event just open the app, open the camera and hit record. You won't be able to rewind live though. You will only be able to begin the recording from the time you open the app.
Can you rewind if motion is detected
@@DroidModderX when the camera detects someone how long will it record them? If car prowler triggers camera how long will it record? long enough to see the crime?

I bought this piece of junk 2 months ago and everyday I have to reboot it because it goes offline and will not come back online by itself...
I would make a warranty claim. That isn't normal.
