    When I see such large unbroken schools of shad, I typically don't see active bass. My experience tells me that more broken up balls of shad are an indication of feeding bass.

    Toledo Bend is not a “Texas” lake it boarders Texas and Louisiana and most is on the Louisiana side. Just an FYI.

    Johnnie does a great job teaching ,no offense to him but I'm glad I'm not a tournament fisherman because I have no desire to fish like that. Since I fish for fun I don't have to.

    That brilliant strategy was about as boring to watch as it gets. Pro tournament fishing is in big trouble if that’s the future…….extremely boring to watch and when these guys talk it’s like listening to a used-car salesman starring in a 1990’s infomercial

      Totally agree. Let’s have a whole tournament season where they fish for post spawn fish with no FFS. or no electronics period. Then we’ll see who the best fishermen are.

    It seems that the deep dive app is a bit outdated. It is based on old tournaments of the past. This is a new date and time and the app doesn’t reflect modern tournaments. I have never seen Dustin way of fishing shown on the app.🤔

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  7 місяців тому

      We are updating tournament data on an ongoing basis. There were relatively few top 10 finishes with Damiki rigs until this year, so the app's recommendations will adjust as we add data from these recent tournaments. We just haven't added them yet because the tournament happened 2 weeks ago.

    While there is a factor of shad congregating in clearer water and bass targeting them, the majority of the technique was forward facing sonar. Without FFS they wouldn't have found the bass so easily.

    The first part of this video was the best post game analysis I've ever seen for our sport. Your knowledge, and the tool you've built with Deepdive is something to truly be proud of. I fish kayak tournaments, and don't have Livescope, but I still found the 2nd half of the video extremely helpful. Plus, I know that creek so that makesit even more fun to watch. I'm proud that you're a local guy here. I'd be stoked with that bag. Thanks for your teaching .

    Love your videos kind sir. Technology always improves whatever field in which it is employed and this is a perfect example of this process. That said, FFS is here to stay and can make a tough day of fishing productive. However, you give a "fishing PHD" perspective to fill in the gaps I cannot. MUCH appreciated! I have learned so much from your videos and respect your hard work in editing and presenting . IMHO, you are the best there is in defining and educating complicated bass fishing strats on You Tube. Thank you for your videos. Keep it up.

    Absolutely awesome!! All the steps set out clearly. Really appreciate it!! Was the key to the clearer water being more rocky inflows than other areas. On a new or unfamiliar lake, can you predict which inflows are going to be less dirty or do you just have to go look? Will the Deep Dive App differentiate for me? I use it already, especially for wind effects. Thanks again!!

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  7 місяців тому

      You can look at historic water clarity over the past 30 days and see which creeks get clear or dirty water after it rains. You can then predict how the clarity will change after it rains.
