I just ordered this audio interface from Sweetwater. I have some great interface I my studio, but was looking from a great sounding, portable interface. The idea was to buy the SSL12, but this gives me much option, more preamps and almost for the same price. Furthermore, the fact that you can add 16 additional channel is excellent. I may add 2 SP8 in the future for a total of 24 channel portable / studio rig.

Hey Cooper love your content. So I’m very new to the drum recording stuff. What interface would you recommend for a fairly larger kit (5 toms, 2 kicks, and snare). Something less expensive. Maybe 200-300 range?
Can I use it to quality drums sound while band is playing live in a show, and also recording live and lastly streaming live. My drums sound too manual when recorded and live streaming.. can this make it sound more electronic? Can I also plug other instruments like keyboard, bass guitar and even mics for vocalist? If yes, an I get effect for the vocalist mics on its software?. Your reaponse will really fo a long way. Thanks
