Team work makes the dream work for sure. Great presentation you two. This home is certainly move in ready. I would probably redo the kitchen, but it's good enough to wait a few years before doing so. That backyard is very nice. Overall the home is impressive. Cheers! :)
Brilliant. It's in Cochrane - 15 mins outside of Calgary, there is plenty of work, and it would have sold for about $525k 3 years ago, and if I could build a time machine, we could all go back in time and buy more real estate.
Calgary is sprawling at the jobs are not at the peripheral and close to Cochrane. More like a 45 minute drive or an hour when the roads are poor. @@BradMcCallum
With the traffic currently in Cochrane, just to get out of the city you must spend around 45 minutes in non-peak hours, in peak hours around 1.5 hours to 2 hours. Schools are also full, all parents need to know!
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement. I'm seeking to invest $200K across markets but don't know where to start.
With the help of an investing advisor, I diversified my $400K portfolio across markets, and I was able to earn over $900k in net profit from high dividend yielding equities, ETFs, and bonds.
My consultant is Jenny Pamogas Canaya She has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look her up online if you care for supervision.
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
When I use the term 'affordable' I'm talking about affordability relative to: 1. average household income in Calgary/Cochrane. 2. cost of housing in Cochrane vs. Calgary. 3. average single family home values in other major Canadian markets. Hope that helps!
Can't have enough of your videos Brad. Welldone!!!

Haha - I'm actually filming this next week!
It is in a small town with no jobs. This would have sold for $400 3 years ago. Now is not the time to buy in Alberta

For a successful long-term strategy you have to seek guidance from a broker or financial advisor.
