Congrats and all the best wishes with the move! Your channel has helped me get a glimpse of Calgary. It kept me motivated to commit and finally make a move to this beautiful province. I purchased my home in the NW but will eventually make my way to Bearspaw. BTW your father did an amazing job welding that frame for the glass railings. Cant imagine all the hours it took to cut, weld, paint etc...I wish 2024 brings you guys abundance in Health, Wealth & Prosperity!!! 🍺

Great video, guys. You did an amazing job with this home and it will be that much more exciting in the new one, now that you're likely not fighting the budget so much. I know, there are always budget constraints, everyone has them, no matter the size. I designed a home for a you family up in Bear's Paw a few years back and what a lovely area! The house you gave a glimpse of should give you lots to play with and let me tell you, the kids will love the pool! We've spent the last 8 years with a pool and our kids had a blast with us and their friends. Enjoy the heck out of this new adventure, and we'll be watching (not in a creepy way).

We bought the home in 2014 for $615k, and we put probable somewhere around 150k-160k. We sold for $1,035,000 last month.

We used 1” x 1” square tubular steel and created frames for each section of the railing. We then installed two identical frames side-by-side sandwiching the glass in the middle, and then capping everything with a 3 inch wide walnut cap.
