However, we have not seen any of them do audio mixing in jack mode which both the H3 Hybrid and H3PRO Hybrid can do. For that feature to work, we need to power ON headset in jack which is why we in first place choose that solution. Supporting BOTH audio mixing in jack and pure analog jack will give even more complexity, hardware changes and cost which could not be justified for adding one more use case (which is the less used one) to an already complex product." Furthermore, the decision was also based on having a product that worked in a consistent way as mentioned before (Sidetone always active, same audio experience for the user and similar MMI and UX). We have come across products where volume wheel only works in wireless state, and then does not work in 3.5 mm jack - we don’t think this is a good user experience."
I'd rather a consistent performance profile. With all the simultaneous audio stream options/bluetooth and such. I don't think there is enough power offered through 3.5.
nice find from EPOS. the 3.5mm input is a great idea, I use it for connecting to a 2 way walkie talkie and bluetooth. most youtubers don't understand these possible types of use cases. clearly EPOS does.
@@TheProvokedPrawn yeah found a decent eq from Gadgetrytech that helped, then boosted the bass a little from that baseline. Still missing the punch that other headphones have, but only for music really. Your review was great so thanks for that!
It’s just like the penrose and mobius. The headset needs an active power source for its built in amps even if you’re using 3.5mm. Dumbest design choice by epos and by extension Audeze for the other mentioned headsets

what is the difference between the H3 Hybrid and the H3 Pro Hybrid? I can't seem to find anything about them compared.

Would you prefer the Corsair Virtuoso XT´s or the H3Pro Hybrid? For gaming and music?
Personally the Epos because it's more comfortable but the Corsair headset has high res audio and a better mic.

Better bass and I'd say that the noise cancellation is superior but I prefer the Nova Pro wireless for its battery life and other features.
