- An animation about how Game Freak allegedly chose which Pokemon where gonna be the starter pokémon for Pokémon Legends Z-A. They first discussed some reasonable options like Snivy, Torchic and Piplup, or Rowlet, Cyndaquil and Oshawott. But later decided to pick a different option for the starters.
Whatever it's gonna be, let's just hope the starters for Pokemon Legends ZA are not gonna be shiny locked.
This is just a joke/parody animation, and not meant to be taken seriously.

I know that everyone already said this, but Snivy, Scorbunny and Piplup
-Empoleon your not the water starter what do we do?
-There's nothing we can do
Scorbunny would also be a good option, because I'm not sure if they wanna do 2 birds with Torchic and Piplup anyway.
But I guess we'll find out :)

The starters are definitely not gonna be in the gen 3 category or gen 1. They already have mega evolutions. Also, Rest in piece Kippie

Gamefreak should throw a curveball at us and make it not grass, fire and water types at all

I'm not sure about water/dark because that's the same thing Samurott is but the others I'm completely fine with
I think it’s gonna be Snivy, Scorbunny and Piplup with the Kalos starters thrown in. I even caught female versions of them in a Level, Dream and Lure Ball respectively with their hidden abilities in case those three turn out to be the starters.

Indeed, @@Nuzzling. I mean, they threw in the Sinnoh starters alongside Rowlet, Cyndaquil and Oshawott in Legends Arceus. So, all they would have to do is swap the Kalos starters in Legends Z-A in place of where the Sinnoh starters were in Legends Arceus. Basically, a secondary starter trio swap for the most part. Also, if we think about it, Chesnaught was based off a knight, Delphox was based off of a mage and Greninja was based off of a rogue. So, we'll probably need starters based off of a healer, lancer and striker if we're going based off of RPG classes.

Exactly, @@Nuzzling. So, that way, we'll get the best of both starter worlds just like we did in Legends Arceus. Which is where Serperior, Cinderace and Empoleon come into play. Kalosian Empoleon could be based off of the lancer RPG class and become Water/Fighting type similar to Generation 9's Quaquaval. Kalosian Serperior could be based off of the healer RPG class and become Grass/Fairy similar to the Whimsicott line of Generation 5 which is the same generation that both Samurott and Serperior hail from. And Kalosian Cinderace could be based off of the striker RPG class because its whole thing is that it's known as the Striker Pokemon after all and it could become the first ever Fire/Electric type.
Grass = Louis XIV
Fire = Joan of Arc
Water = Napoleon
That makes sense, I can see them do that

I love Blaziken so much and I really hope it will be the fire starters for legends z-a even though it already has a mega. And the Jaiden thing earlier really caught me off guard it was so funny I love it .

Primarina has Pierrot in its design and Pierrot is a French thing and they had Piplup in the last game so they may not choose Piplup as a starter for that reason… :/ Piplup ain’t the only French based water starter!

scorbunny has gigantamax and piplup was in gen 4 legends arceus there was someone with Napoleon and that must be several things for a new form. so this side not scorbunny and piplup okay

why does everyone always think piplup and scorbbunny, then you get it all! maybe it is not gen 4,6,8 but gen 2,5,7 can be used for it
