WOW Margaret you’re so lucky to explore these fascinating places ❤❤
I wonder if it’s the same Percy family that knew the Boleyns? Wasn’t there a bloke that was interested in Anne?
I would really love for you to do Warwick castle! I’d love your narration 😊
A few from my home town now living in Canada

Love all your knowledge....
I really enjoyed the video. Thank you.
You are most welcome - I'm so glad you liked it :)
Spain has plenty to see..some great adventures to be had. Intact Segovia is stunning but ruins are everywhere.
I think it is a disgrace that such historical monuments to our history are allowed to rot away like this when there are plenty of funds available through tourism to repair restore and rebuild these places in the interests of our heritage education and civilisation. I have never been to wankworth but it looks really cool.
Thanks for watching, Graham! English Heritage in particular does an excellent job preserving what they can but, yes, it's mind-boggling sometimes to think how such magnificent places were just left to decay!
Well presented and informative. If you approach the castle from the village Main Street ( That is the opposite side from the gatehouse ) you will see the imposing view of the castle keep and the other stone lion Margaret referred to.
Good vlog
Thank you, Jimmy!

You are an excellent presenter and your history is superb. Will you be looking in detail at the kitchens of Kew Palace? Thank you, Veronique.
Thank you, Veronique! Alas, the kitchens at Kew were closed when I went. Perhaps in future :) I do have another video coming this summer which you will hopefully enjoy!
I love these tours. They are very educative and interesting, and also help people to plan their in person tours. I hope this channel could have 1K subscribers soon. Thank you for sharing!

I was lucky enough to have that as part of my playground when I was young. ive been in places in there that most people haven't. we'd clime right up onto the roof and just sit and talk for hours. from my sons bedroom window at our house in amble to had a very clear view of the castle.
??????? ?
It's a question nobody has an answer to.
