The central court with the yew tree is so beautiful. It'd been raining when I visited and the paving stones were glistening with water and the tree was vibrant and green. I love the indentations on some of the steps, signs of busy walkways used over and over, and I could imagine all the people who'd been and gone.
Why not chop down the woods and that 350 year old tree for biomass, then we will be helping stop the climate crisis! Labour and WEF policy! Such a huge wasted space, just think how many immigrants that could house!
A very informative video, having been to Skipton castle years ago it was great to hear the history of it once again. Ethan's presenting of these videos are very professional however easy to access. Great Video Ethan!
Great video, really enjoyed seeing Skipton Castle, need to get up to Yorkshire for some incredible places like here to visit! But thank you for sharing the amazing and interesting back stories to Skipton Castle!! 💗👍
I like seeing videos like this because this is the kind of place I'd like to go see if I ever get a chance to go to Europe. This doesn't seem like it would be the biggest tourist destination but it's such a well preserved piece of history
When you're in a country full of places like this, tourists are evenly spread. No overcrowding, no feeling like you're adding to a problem, it's honestly great.
Visited Skipton castle a cpl of days ago, fascinating place to wander round (spent most of my time taking photographs trying to catch a ghost lol (I didn’t 😕).
A ghost from the past. She's complaining about the name. It used to be the West Riding before the politicians messed about with the historical divisions and made the boring "North Yorkshire"

Oh I wish I could go see this. Amazing to see the yew tree still standing! Thank you.
I went there when I was a child. Over 25 years ago and i still remember it. This video brought me back. Also, that is one killer pen.
I like a good pen
Looks truly fascinating. And pretty cool that they kept the woods instead of chopping every tree into pieces.

Thanks for the visit to Skipton castle , surprised it has no furniture in it.

Great narration
Looks worth a visit
I would have liked more of the castle itself. Maybe more if the history. I did enjoy your video though.
It’s beautiful
My grandfather is from Gargrave and I heard a lot about this castle. I believe my mothers cousin or aunt use to give tours there.
That's pretty cool!
Found this a interesting video, greetings from Belgium
Great video lads!
My only issue is that I don't have a mad pen
Visit Skipton Castle to acquire your own mad pen!
I was here a couple weeks ago, I bought that same cola, also bought a dragon for 8 quid, should’ve got the mad pen instead
Fun fact: Lord Clifford was actually a big red dog

Great shots and very interesting but all seemed oddly speeded up and hurried , constructive remark, not a complaint ! New subscriber,
I love this channel
❤
Interesting thank you.

I'm not sure any are there. Even the dungeon inmates were well looked after.
3:46 there is a person in the window. Anyone noticed?

Privy: cute term
Very good but keep the very intrusive music out of it when you are speaking.
I would have lived there...the name would be, Adhemar, like in, A Knight's Tale.
Here in California the oldest buildings are from the 1880’s 😂
They sell that cola in my country also 😂
Leng cola
haha wtf that tree is older than my nation
A lot of trees probably are
@@mikeblaze7424 Definitely, yes. I just never thought about it. 😅
@@luistarin5299 true not really something that gets brought up too often lol
Holy shit it's really pretty
No need for foul language. You made your point.
