Sean the house is coming along nicely. You’re doing pretty good considering that you work plus still do things in the summertime. Remember to keep extra tiles as you never know when a tile will break. Put the extra ones well away where you won’t come across them. Murphy’s law is if you have the tiles you won’t break them but sure as heck if you don’t have extra they will break. I love tile all over the house. Easy to care for and with a little extra care so you don’t break them they will last a long time. I do like when you give us some views of Alaska. I am from Canada so lots of that rustic scenery is like home. I find most of the scenery very relaxing. Keep taking pictures.
Thanks Jerry! I will always continue to share the outdoors of Alaska lol...I just love it! I have made it a habit to save a few pieces of stuff like that, tile will be included!
The tiles that you picked are beautiful. And the videos of the wilderness, I could watch then all day! Thank you for another awesome video. See you again soon! Take care!
Well I think we love all parts of the Alaskan life you share.. I definitely love the wildlife tour and adore the animal pics..a giraffe would be nice from time to time lol..love the tile too.. have a kick a$$ weekend..❤️☮️
Regarding water... Check this video "Best off-grid cabin I've ever toured- SEE WHY". Look at timestamp 8:00 in that video. The guy has his house located on a top of a well and a hand pump installed right on a countertop. Seems to be a nice idea.
Sean, you can use whatever width tile spacers you want in conjunction with the "Orange Store" leveling system. They will still do what they are supposed to do. I've done it many times on many jobs when I can't find the levelers of the width I want. Honestly though, given how small your square footage is, the leveling isn't really necessary. Just find your "high spot" and start there. That way you can just use a thicker layer of mortar as you get to the lower spots. BTW.. If you lose viewers because you're taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful place you live in then those viewers aren't worth worrying about.
Everyday is a good day above ground... Sean you make it look too easy! Just wondering if you've thought about having the door swing outwards to make more room for the interior?
@@deepsouthalabama2149 True... but it depends if there's an aluminum door canopy that covers the entranceway (portico))and a temporary snow guard in the case of snow event.
I loved seeing the bears and moose. I enjoyed the drive we went on. Thanks for taking us along. How are you feeling with your dehydration issues? I hope better.
Hello Sean I was told that you have to get your plants in the dirt by June that’s what my friends in willow Alaska told me it’s a short growing season have a great weekend sean I hope you had a good Fourth of July have from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
@@SeanInAlaska Vacation is over, great fishing and one round of golf… it was too hot and humid for a second round . Now a 10 hour depressing drive home … have a great day 😎👍
Great video Sean! My wife stills talks about moving there. What month will you need to start heating the cabin with your new wood heater? When tiling I have always preferred small grout lines for a couple of reasons, easier to keep clean and less likely to crack.
I've had an RTIC cooler for a few years, it's pretty nice. Maybe doesn't hold ice for quite as long as a Yeti would but it's like 1/3 the cost so I'll take it.
There's actually been nothing wrong with the phone audio lately. I hear you just fine. It was just that one time that we mentioned. Maybe the microphone was blocked some how.
I am pretty sure it was dirty, I cleaned it after your comment and it seems to work better. I did purchase a mic all the same and am testing it out now! Lol
Thank You for the field trip. Just beautiful. Have a great weekend. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Love the scenic drive, don’t stop those either. Ps love the tile pattern ❤
I love the wilderness and the wildlife that lives up n Alaska area. Keep up the great work.
I'm stuck in the house a lot so really enjoy road tripping with you.
Rtic coolers are great. I had one on the sailboat back south. loved it. Fun fact the guy that owns Rtic is related to the guy that has Yeti.
Hahahah....a family affair I guess lol
Love Skilak Rd. Very beautiful scenery !!
No that’s no tellim road north of Anchorage 😅
@craigporter5364 🤣😂
Love the wildlife the moose and the babies are just to adorable. The bears wow how cool was that. The tiles love them also. Have a great evening Sean.

Always great to see a new Sean vid pop in in my feed. Great videos, great presence. Keep it up, sir!

Oh! Great point on the high spot! And I 100% agree on the lost views 😉

I may be wrong but if the door swings out and you get a heavy snow it would be hard to open and be a safety hazard.

@@xqzmeartdesign284
True, but, if the guard was off and the wind blew the snow under the cover , well ! Hahaha
@@deepsouthalabama2149 When the wind blows, Sean's crib will rock... Lol!
@deepsouthalabama2149 yup! This!

The rule here seems to be...do not plant the tender ones before June 1st...we still had frost in late may.
Hi Sean
Still on vacation OBX, Kill Devil Hills 2 days to go. Yellow fin tuna fishing was great… 3 on ice 😎👍
Next stop, Myrtle Beach 2 days of golf
Have a fantastic time Joseph!!!

I usually fire up the heater by late September here. I was thinking the same thing on the grout lines lol

I agree Matt, a yeti is not in my budget hahahhaah
I never pass up ribeyes on sale!!
Sean we need to get you a better mic when you are driving!… low volume! Those moose are awesome!😮
The mic arrived this week and I am testing it now!! Lol
@@SeanInAlaska great minds think alike Sean!… keep posting! I love following along on your journey😀
Brother, you ever wrestled a bear? That was a good opportunity. LOL!! Thanks for the ride. See ye next week.
Bears have NO sense of humor when it comes to wrestling hahahahhaha have a great week JD!
I'd prefer to wrestle a beer.

Truth! Hahhahaahha
How far away do you live from Anchorage
About 4 hours south. I am on the Kenai peninsula outside of Soldotna.
@SeanInAlaska I'm looking for land just North of Willow
@ericschwepker2906 very pretty area!
I can tell the difference between a moose and a bear
