@@judithrjames wow Judith, you are so right! its the best quality out of all of the places i have tried over the years. now, i did find a place, and even did a video a couple years ago, about “the crab place” in md. my first order of crabs was amazing! they deliver all over the country, but the more recent order was not very good. so even they went downhill. but you can order crabs on line. there was another place but they jack the fees up too high. i forget the name of them.
Interesting. I can honestly say you are the first person in my entire life to eat crabs on a plate. News paper or craft paper only here. Also if you somewhat process your picked meat it will freeze much better. An example would be to make it into crab cakes. The hold up better than just picked meat.
As a kid living in ft.monroe Virginia we would lick out chops at the crab run.i would sit on the pier all night and fill up coolers.when we couldn't eat any more they went right in the freezer.we ate crabs in December.lol
So lucky you are to have such beautiful blue crabs. BTW, my sister and I picked up another container of that Tony Chachere seasoning to try. She actually picked it up in New Orleans way back when she went to visit there, but we thought we would get a new container.
@@titasmom678 cool! in some cases, the seasoning is good on its own if the “item”, that its sprinkled on, has some salt flavor already, but when its steak, etc, its good to add some salt too. i have heard from another person (that replied there) that the regular (sodium) one is way too salty so its good to get salt free and add salt yourself. thats why i get unsalted butter, salt free chicken broth, etc. as i always say, “you can add, but you can’t take away” (seasonings that is). thx again for stopping in and all your support. i only have 330 “watch” hours to go to get to 4,000 (within a “rolling” 365 days) and then youtube starts to pay me for doing what i love anyway. i dont do it for that, but hey, i wont refuse it. lol.
hang with me, i have delayed making my next video being that, using free and approved music in my videos, got hijacked by a company that claims copy wrights to songs that they never claimed before and this happens many tubers that are about to be montized, like me. so my hubby and i are trying to figure out ways to use copy free music and avoid this in the future. if i dont use any music, the dead air times (where i dont want the back ground actual sounds like cars speeding by, planes going over, neighbor’s dogs barking while cooking on the gril, etc).. would be awkward just with NO music, so we are working on this. stay tuned. i am ONLY explaining this to you since you are always there for me. ❤. i even pulled down some videos as, once they say its their song, they will keep you from making a penny, for 29 days, even if i fight it and win..thats when its most viewed, so, im finding another way. oh and they make money off your video for that 29 days. isnt that some crap? 😢
