Sometimes you get what you pay for, but in general, I find the GV brand of things like canned goods, mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc...are pretty comparable to name brand items, but like you said, always try a cheaper brand out to see if you like it. Looks like a tasty meal. I gave up on those regular can openers for that same reason. I hate cleaning them. I use one of those openers that doesn't cut into the cans, but just breaks the seal on the top of the can. No sharp edges, no food to clean off the opener, and no electricity needed (in case you lose power). I got mine from QVC years ago.
@@titasmom678 qvc, wow, is that still on tv? they were HUGE back in the day. its really easy to clean but i recently realized, why not spray it with some good ‘ol 91% rubbing alc. i kill bugs with it, so why not kill bacteria with it. :-)
@@albertbeltran554 i have a beautiful new gas oven but that little toaster oven cooks things at nearly 1/2 the time and doesnt heat the house up as much. thx a lot for stopping by and watching. :-)

@gailsfoodandstuff true. I like it because it's a lot safer to handle the lid since it has no sharp edges.
